My husband's meal was good, but mine was served so cold that it was inedible. The cheese wasn't even melted, making it seem like it hadn't been cooked long enough. My husband's plate was hot to the touch, mine was cold. I politely brought it to our server's attention, but the service wasn't very attentive, and the only resolution offered was a 10% discount on my entrée. Since I couldn't eat the meal, that didn't feel like an appropriate response. We understand that every restaurant can have an off day, but between the cold food, lackluster service, and the way the issue was handled, it was a disappointing experience. Sadly, our first visit will also be our last. We won't be back.

Comfortable atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, delicious food that is really reasonably priced, especially if you get one of their daily specials. They even throw in chips and salsa. But beyond their Salvadoran cuisine they offer some killer steaks and unique killer cocktails, which is why I always sit at the bar. Whenever you find yourself in South Dallas I strongly recommend coming here.

It's a bit of a trek from where we live, but worth the journey--plus, fun fact: they're building DFW's second Bojangles in the same strip mall. (Exciting times, people.) We hit up lunch, which seemed like a great deal. I had a fajita craving, so mixed chicken and steak it was, while hubby, a true Tex-Mex traditionalist, went for a chile relleno. But let's pause for a moment--why is finding real-deal Tex-Mex in DFW such a struggle? (I have questions.) Our waiter, Able, was warm, welcoming, and on it with drinks and a glorious chip trio featuring: A warm black bean dip (our fave) A fresh green salsa A smoky red salsa And then... my fajitas arrived, SIZZLING like they were trying to set off the fire alarm. Huge portion, served with all the fixings--rice, beans, tortillas (not house-made, but miles better than grocery store versions), sour cream, pico, lettuce, and cheese. I barely made a dent in 1/3 of it. Leftovers = tomorrow's best meal, confirmed. Can't wait to return and tackle their $7.99 enchilada plate on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Marking my calendar now. Bathrooms were clean. I would say the booths need to be recovered as some were duck-taped, and they were a little low for this shortie!

The Pupusas come with some pickled cabbage which is a great addition and the fried Yucca came with a cabbage salad which was also quite enjoyable. We also got chips with a black bean salsa/dip that was excellent. We were there on a 93 degree day and the restaurant was cool inside with some fans running to keep the air moving.
