I received four estimates, but only three did site visits. Three of the estimates were over $4,000. My house was built in 1993. I've had the front soft washed and repainted three times since then. Each time the price was a little higher, but no where close to $4,000. Liberty Painting's price was very reasonable and no where near $4,000. We scheduled the work for the following week. Two painters arrived on time. We discussed the scope of work, which included soft washing the wood. They were both very friendly and did excellent work. They cleaned up the work area as promised. It seems crazy that all of the prices and details on the prices are spelled out in detail ahead of time, and that there is no "games" when it comes to trying to figure out if you are getting a good deal or not. I would recommend them for the pre-sales process alone. The only negative thing I can say is it took 4 visits to get my window installed properly, but that's because they were expanding the size of the pre-existing window hole which was somewhat complicated. The process should have taken only 2 visits, but there were complications and I did have to chase after them a little to get things done correctly. To be fair I have always had to "watch" contractors working on my house and none of them have ever finished the job perfectly the first time. If I have any more windows that need replacing, I will definitely follow up with this company again.
