From what I could tell online, they appeared to go out of business. Maybe they only closed for a brief time or were in the process of moving or something, as I see they seem to be up and running again. I don't know what happened back in 2019; all I know is I had to scramble to find another vendor for my wedding cake and was very disappointed that no one ever got in touch with me to explain or apologize. I have to say they certainly do stack up to the competition. I hate when its just plain bread with no flavor, but this was the opposite. The cake was topped with white icing and colored granulated sugar....the way it should be! The king cake was super fresh and dare I say it...moist. (chills, I know.) The building it very unassuming plopped in the middle of a random section of residential and warehouse type businesses. I guiltily used my GPS to get to there. I did not realize Veterans went past Loyola, guys! Apparently, they sell Party Palace king cakes in a lot of other places around the city so if you see the logo elsewhere, know that it has the mark of approval from the locals.
