They even brought out an extra dish of cooked salmon over rice for the birthday girl, because they heard she's a fan of that. We have tried a lot of their food and everything is delicious. The only things that are just okay are the chicken karaage and the gyoza. They have amazing udon broth and the fish quality on all items is very high. The rolls are more Americanized and come with sauces and frills, but everything is well balanced and delicious! Everyone was impressed by the look of the spread as well as the flavor. Our friends and family demolished everything! We also had a few plates of sashimi and a few appetizers that were also all delicious. I do see why it pairs well with beer. The outside had more of a bread crust taste and texture, but the inside was pretty plain and not as soft and fluffy as I prefer. The jager fries were definitely the better option. The fries are thick enough that you can taste the potato and the toppings and sauce were sooo good. The sauce reminded me of beef stroganoff, which made it really comforting and flavorful. I would definitely get these again. I enjoyed my visit and would love to come back to try their brunch menu!

The sauce was sweet and salty. Great combo. The raw oysters were fresh, the garlic noodles were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and every dish we tried was excellent. The restaurant was clean, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was fun with sports games playing on tvs in the restaurant. The calamari was standard. Cooked well. Not overly oily. I came across edamame under appetizers. Based on the description, I ordered it. I love me some spicy edamame, especially when it's seasoned very well. I got my order to go, got home and when I opened the edamame, it was not what I expected. It was sitting in liquid. The description of the edamame under appetizers says nothing about it being in any kind of liquid or sauce. So I revisited the establishment tonight, which is Friday (the next day). I explained to the employee taking my order what I expected based on the description on the menu and what I got. I even showed her pictures. She said she's never seen edamame made that way (not in sauce) even though there's a picture of it being made that way under their Yelp profile. There was no attempt to rectify the situation so I left it be but it is a bit disheartening to order something with a specific description, then you get home and your order is not what you thought it would be and then there is no recourse provided. Based on this experience, my tip for future patrons is to ensure you get clarification on an item if you are trying it for the first time because it might not come in the same way it is described on the menu. I've been in contact with some very personable employees here who are amazing when it comes to customer service so I will definitely be back. And that salt and pepper shrimp has me in a chokehold LOL. I just wasn't a fan of this experience. But I do recommend this restaurant. Great food, great drinks and great staff!!

We were especially touched by the handwritten anniversary greetings on our napkins, such a thoughtful and personal touch! So my wife and I made it a point to try it out on her behalf. Friday night and we noticed a few couple walking out, dressed up for dinner; so we were not sure if we were dressed appropriately for this restaurant. When we walked in the restaurant is bright and airy and gave a fine dining experience vibe. The hostess said about a 20 minute wait but we could opt to sit in the bar that also had full service. My wife wanted a cocktail so we started in the bar, but when it actually occurred to my wife they would serve dinner in the bar/lounge; she decide we would stay in the bar area. Once that decision was made we got menus and looked over their offerings. My wife was in the mood to try several items so she chose: capresè, fritte calamari, and the soup of the day while I went with their gnocchi with grilled prawns. From there, I assumed everything would flow but the service became choppy because it wasn't just one person who served us; we got visits from the manager, asst manager, and four different servers/food runners which to me IMO was tragic because that was no consistency. OH BTW sitting in the bar area, I watched the bartenders start breaking down their area while we were eating. Now for the food: DONT ORDER THE GNOCCHI: over cooked and had a hard chewy texture while the prawns were grilled but overcooked as well that ended up dry. ** The saving grace was my wife's food the capresè was vibrant and the cheese was the star of the plate, the fritte lightly breaded and the addition of the green beans added a surprisingly balance, and the soup of the day (I believe it was a spicy corn polenta soup) which was had a nice smooth texture and just enough heat on the back end. ***All the food/appetizers were delivered separately knowing that these items were my wife's dinner, and she ended her meal with the soup....hmmmm So I guess that could be our fault not letting the waiter know how to deliver the food, but an experienced waited/server would have known to ask what should come out first: theee appetizers ordered for your dinner which one is soup which is the easiest to serve since that should theoretically be sitting in a crockpot/ warmer in the kitchen. We opted to pass on dessert. And might give Interlude another shot but this time sit in their main dining room.
