It took almost 4 months before he showed. He offered a discount off of the price; then when he finally did show, he only removed some of the existing gutter and left without installing any new. He even left his ladder behind for some reason. Multiple emails for followup status have gone unanswered. It's the lack of communication and unfinished task (which can cause roof damage) that forces star drop. Previously he had indicated that they moved "far up north" - so it's possible he needed to change his service area but hasn't. That's on the business though; if you accept a job and money for the job, you complete the job as agreed. Which might mean something as simple as booking a hotel nearby for a week until the job is done or something.

Financed this venture through Enerbank USA and paid it off interest free in the years' time allotted. Our latest venture happened through a simple phone call. We had just dealt with the seriously cold Polar Vortex and noticed some issues with our doors. Infinity happened to call us to check on our roof and during this conversation, I had requested anyone with experience with doors. Well guess what, they do doors! About a week later a salesperson named Mark came out and gave us, the Provia doors booklet and a bit of homework. He then came back and we proceeded to build some doors, three to be exact. Again, we will be going with the 12-month interest free financing. We are excited as can be to get these new doors installed and seal this house up. Screwheads built a back and front porch for us in 2010. They were both done with composite decking…read moreso they would last longer and need less maintenance than wood. In fact the decking had a limited lifetime warranty. The project cost us $24,700. We called them back a couple of times with leaky roof issues, bugs getting in the porch, and screens blowing out on windy days. They came out but never succeeded in fixing the problems. Last fall my husband was fixing the door, which never fit properly, and in the process he discovered that the wood that supports the steps leading out of the porch was completely rotted and the wood underneath the siding on all sides of the porch was deteriorating and had black mold. There was a stamp on the wood which said it was graded for interior use, not exterior. We also discovered that they hadn't installed sufficient bracing to stabilize the skirting on either porch. We contacted them and they replaced the rotted wood on the sides of the porch, but they want to charge us for the stairs and to fix the front porch which has leaning railings because the composite floor expanded and the skirting has discolored and is now two different colors! They said they should have left more space between the posts and the decking. They said the company that made the composite decking went out of business so our warranty is no longer valid and the warranty with them is up. $24,700 for a job that only lasted 9 years? Next step is to find a reputable lawyer.
