This was my very first time here and honestly, one of the best pedicures i've had in a while! The price was $35 for a take off of gel and regular pedicure with sugar scrub massage. Inside is super clean, and the staff are super friendly! The only thing I had a hard time with was the take off of gel, she scraped it off from the cuticle without filing and soaking it off with acetone first. So that part was a little different for me. Love this place! Mai and the team working here are really good at what they do. They're very friendly and attentive to their customers. I've noticed that every customer that came in has a great rapport with the team. I was able to get an appointment the next day with Mai. I wanted to get a solid one tone hair color and go darker. I came here for a haircut and highlight appointment on 7/3/19 at 10am with my ugly hair and came out ~4.5 hours later with a complete hair transformation! I'm glad my cousin referred me to Ritz because Mai and her team did a wonderful job. I'm extremely happy with the results and pricing, I'll definitely come back here in the future for my haircuts and color/highlight touchups. This place gets BUSY with walk-ins and all, so if you want more than a haircut, call ahead of time! - MY "BEFORE" HAIR: year-old grown-out ombre from a different salon that I eventually (unintentionally) darkened myself to a brassy color + sad YouTube DIY attempt at babylights -- (Don't DIY, just go to a professional like Mai here) - WHAT I WANTED: a straight trim without layers on the back + get rid of brassiness + very thin highlights on the top half of my hair to be toned in neutral blonde that'll hopefully blend in with my bottom half ombre... - THE PROCESS: Lien prepped my hair + the tools needed; Mai gave me a quick trim + sectioned off the areas to be bleached; Hannah applied the bleach. Afterwards, Mai took over from there with the washing, toning, drying, final haircut touches, and straightening. A prior salon experience where my hair BROKE OFF after bleaching had me paranoid, so I kept touching and pulling my hair throughout the whole process. Mai caught on to what I was doing and put me at ease by showing and reassuring me that I'm not losing any hair. Mai worked on other clients that came in and needed her hair services while waiting for my hair to process, but it never felt rushed when she would come back to work on my hair. - My "AFTER" result: Check out my before and after photos I took that day! They were able to turn the virgin parts of my black hair BLONDE in one sitting, the demarcation line is gone and blended, my hair has so much more dimension now, and it's still HEALTHY... no "gummy" damage! 1 MONTH LATER: I still love my hair! Terrible Service. I have long hair that was freshly balayaged by a different salon and I wanted to get a trim. A trim only because my balayage cost me so much and I wanted to keep as much as possible but still keep it healthy. The lady asked me how much hair I wanted to cut, and I said 3 inches. She literally cut off as much hair as the length of my iPhone (which is about 6 inches) I confronted her about this and she said, "Well your hair needed it." Went home sobbing today. If you can't do what your customers ask you, don't do it. I did not consent for her to cut that much which isn't okay at all. If you want your hair done with no control of what happens to it, you are more than welcome to go to this terrible salon. read more

I sometimes rely on Yelp to choose my services and thankfully this one didn't fail me!!! I don't remember the ladies name that did my eyebrows but I think she's the only one that does eyebrows there. She was super nice and she honestly did a very nice job!!!! I haven't had my brows look as clean as they do in a long long time. Even though she super cleaned them they aren't to thin. I also had my upper lip down and she did good on that too. Only thing I didn't like which I deducted a star for is she didn't clean the lip area after very well. I walked to my car feeling sticky and could still feel the wax. But I'll definitely go back since it's right next to my job! Amazing individuals, they are really nice and does an amazing job. Never failing to impress me! Definitely the only salon I enjoy going to. Nina does a really amazing job on my eyebrows, she never fails to satisfy my eyebrows. I've gotten my haircut from Mai and Hana. They both have done such a fabulous job with cutting my hair! Just telling them specifically what I want and providing a picture of something similar to the hair that I want is no problem. Tina on the other hand does a wonderful job on my nails. I've been here a couple times, and each time the customer service is always amazing! Mai and her team are super friendly and smiling when you come in and when you sit in their chair. The energy in the room is always a positive one when I come in. I got a gel manicure with Lien, and she was super nice! It was $25, which was fairly cheap (although I expected it to be $20). This is a great place to go if you don't want to spend a whole lot on a manicure. I got a haircut a couple weeks ago, and it was done well. The stylist made sure I was happy with the look! I love how they did my hair; the ladies who helped me out (Mai, Lien, Hannah) were super nice and accommodating. The store itself is clean and bright; I came on a Thursday and there was little to no wait. They told me how to take care of my hair to last for months and made suggestions to help decide the final outcome. Even after bleaching my hair from black, my hair is still soft from the tips all the way to my roots. They take the time to properly soak off artificial nails, which is amazing and hard to come by! Almost every other salon pries artificial nails off and hurt me. As a customer that has gone to over a dozen salons in the Tri-City in the past 5 years, this is the only one that has me calling to book an appointment. I used to go to City Nails on Decoto because they were also good, but now I come here because it's less crowded and they care to remember you here at Ritz. Tina does a great job with nails and she's quick! She makes me feel very comfortable like I'm at home which is a main reason I come back. They have awesome spa pedicure chairs that massage your back and butt. The pedi also includes a brief calf and foot massage. The work they do here is relatively cheap in pricing and good quality. Ps. I went back in and they made a bunch of excuses on why they looked bad and said they weren't lifting and half assed fixed them which lasted like a day! You can get waxing done which I love and the manicures and pedicures are extremely thorough yet extremely extremely inexpensive. So this place is not a fancy shmancy full service salon with wine and coffee, but the people are very decent. I've been going to them for a couple of years now. I've gotten my hair cut there, pedicures, manicures, waxes and because I am so lazy I usually go there to get my hair washed and styled. The nice thing is that I can usually get all of it done for under a 100.00. This is a coming from a Visual Image client and Visual Image clients know that a haircut is about 75.00 to start with, but of course all worth it! Anyway, let me tell you about the Nina who does the waxes and pedicures. When Nina waxes, she rarely has to pluck afterwards. She's got some magic hands. When she does my pedicures, they usually last for about two months. She's one of the best people out there who does waxing and pedicures! Overall, great place. wow so I've been going here for years but never thought to yelp it until now. I love this place. The ladies are super duper friendly and all have been mispronouncing my name since I met them but I let it pass. It's Saba, not Soba. I always ask for Mai when I call, and she always remembers who I am, even though it may have been months or even a year since I was there. I've gotten tons of hair cuts with her, and a really pretty updo for a birthday. By far the absolute best thing I've gotten done is chemical hair straightening. Now, I have really curly hair. Like curly curly curlyyyyyy hair. and it's thick and insanely hard to manage. It took Mai and an assistant 6 HOURS to chemically treat my hair. They were so nice the whole time, gave me magazines to read and cookies to munch on. By the end of it they were exhausted but my hair looked fabulous. It's meant to only last 6 months but I stretched it out to 10 months with excessive straight ironing. Now my hair is fried and wavy so I'm going back tommorrow to get my hair straightened all over again. Ready or not Mai, here I come! read more

So I ended going back like the week after I wrote the review. Walking down memory lane really made me miss Tina. It's been a long 2 years since I've seen her!! When I got there, I didn't think she'd remember me. Boy was I wrong!! They ALL remembered me and welcomed me back!! And damn did that place get busy?? She was booked for the whoooole day, but she said she'd try to squeeze me in if I didn't mind her shuffling back and fourth for a bit. I didn't!!
