Newly redesigned and just stunning with the Midas touch. Gold everywhere. So beautiful and classy. Their drinks are all based on your astrology sign. Mine was spot on! Such a fun night.

The crowds of well dressed people from all walks of life rush to the Ritz hotel for a chance to experience the long-standing glamour of Parisian elite life. A substantial portion of the visitors pursued the Hemingway bar as their destination, after all the whole champagne story with Ernest Hemingway, the end of the war and the other stories that go with it. So, here is a piece of advice. Skip Hemingway bar, walk over about 20 feet and enjoy a drink here. Not only is the Ritz bar arguably one of the most beautiful establishments in its class, but it is a gem for cocktail lovers and offers phenomenal level of friendly and attentive service. It sets the bar high, not just in Paris where the bar for good service is already as low as it gets, but in the world. It's elegant, sexy, enticing and unique. Cocktails are listed by zodiac signs, so feel free to try yours or pick another zodiac sign. They were some of the best combinations of liquors I've tried anywhere. The people working here create a vibe where you instantly feel welcome. During the trip to Paris, which generally made me wish I was anywhere but this city of pathetic customer service and general disorganization, the Ritz bar shines, the staff make you feel like the only person at the bar and the elegance, well, it is truly Parisian.

Expensive but absolutely worth it! We visited the Ritz Bar after having a couple drinks in Bar Hemingway. The decor in Bar Hemingway is exquisite, which makes it a must-visit spot as well, but according to the research I've done, the Ritz Bar is actually where Hemingway drank when he visited because at the time what is now Bar Hemingway was the women's bar while the Ritz Bar was the men's bar (how times have changed!). We had a Coquelicot and a Spritz at the Ritz and both were phenomenal, both in taste and presentation. The service was top-notch as well. Don't come to Paris without trying the Ritz Bar and Bar Hemingway!

While in Paris I was searching for a cigar lounge and came across this gem on my Google search. I…read morealmost passed it and didn't notice it. Golden doors and a barber shop with folks getting hair cuts and shaves. There's even shoe shine. I walked in and asked for the lounge and was asked to go through the door in the back. Once there, you enter a nice, oaky ambiance. The bar has about four barstools and two couches for like 12 people max. Then a door to the smoking lounge with room for 8 people max. Make reservations! Even if coming early in the day, I highly recommend reservations. You can bring your own cigar or purchase from their limited selection. The bartender made really good old fashions. I would definitely return. Friendly bartenders. Cute dog lounging in the bar. Overall, a great place to have a cigar or just cocktails.

Hubby and I had dinner & drinks nearby and I had heard about this place so I wanted to pass by. I…read morewas blown away by it actually being a barbershop, and we had no reservation but when we called, someone came and opened the door for us. I am so glad they did, we both absolutely loved this little spot. It was quite the experience walking past the actual barbershop into hidden door with the bar tucked in the back. A group of guys were leaving as we were entering so we ended up having the place to ourselves, it was during the week so I assume it gets busier on weekends. Great music playing of the one and only; Frank Sinatra. The ambiance is unbelievable. Small bar, but it is fully stocked with a great selection of both alcohol and cigars. We definitely want to come again with friends next time we're in Paris.
