The young guy took our orders but the bartender spoke better English so she took over. Everyone there was actually super nice to us and we were the only non french people there. We ordered the apple specialty bourbon drink which was amazing and had pieces of real apple in it. After I switched to a classic old fashioned which she made just as good. By the way these are very strong drinks, well worth the $13 euro price tag. A guy then went to the small corner piano and began playing live music on a Wednesday night at 11pm! It was insane and he played some nice Earth wind and fire along with other American classics. It was such a great way to end a long day! It was tucked in the corner, construction everywhere, we asked around n no one knew about it! and it really took effort to find this bar. Glad I did! There was a piano singer the night we went. My first drink was the permaculture and while I was considered it would be strong, it didn't seem strong to me. I love clarified dairy in alcohol so this was a win in my book. It consists of chestnut, butter, wakaze umeshu, avallen Calvados. The bar let's you stay for an hour but if you sit elsewhere, you can stay as long as you want. 5 stars and I hope to come back someday!
