Pretty unique speakeasy in Paris! It's not too undercover as there is a bouncer out front and usually a line down the street. We went around 10:15 on a Tuesday and the line was long but moved pretty quick. Once inside, the space is quite small but has a funky feel to it. Drinks around around €10-15 and really good. I had the "Drink Me !" and it was very sweet. My friend had the Amaretto Sour and that was very good as well. We didn't try any of their food, but they have dim sum, prawns, burrata, etc. Not a crazy bar, but fun for a small group of friends!

I stopped by while in Paris and really loved everything about Lavomatic. The employees are kind, the drinks were strong, and I loved the playlist of the night. Plus, I love finding speakeasies in different cities and this one is my favorite!

I did a random search on google for speakeasy's in Paris and Lavomatic was the first thing that came up. So we put it on the list as a must visit before leaving back to the states. Once we arrived, there was a bouncer outside and a line that was about 15 or so people deep. The doorman stated that the wait was about 30 minutes. We decided to bite the bullet and remain in line since we don't know the next time we'll be back in the country. It was our lucky day because the doorman told us that he was cutting the line off and we were indeed last. Several people tried to get in line behind us, but to no avail. We're in June right now, so the weather outside that night was about 78 degrees. However when we got inside, it was HOT as HELL in there. It honestly felt like they had the heater blasting. The heat was unbearable and it kinda ruined the experience before I could indulge in a cocktail. The inside of the place was very nice. Great atmosphere, great music. But again, it was HOT. I was sweating like Patrick Ewing in the 4th quarter. I'm gonna be honest here. The cocktails looked incredible and the presentation was top notch. However the taste of the drinks weren't that impressive at all. Maybe it was the bartender. Who knows? Based on how the drinks appeared visually, I was expecting FIREWORKS. However I just got "pop fizz". This place is great in terms of you getting to say you've gone to the cool laundromat speakeasy in Paris. Anything beyond that is just "meh".

Talk about about a hidden gem! I found out about this speakeasy via word of mouth and it didn't disappoint! This cozy spot has a vintage chill decor. There are a wide variety of throw pillows. There are also two swings located toward the back of the bar. The best part about this joint are the drinks! The drinks taste sophisticated and delicious. The only con is the tight spacing. Overall, great spot to grab a good drink in the trendy neighborhood of République.

This a an amazing speakeasy with all the fun perks: fun entrance, tasty drinks, friendly staff & a great atmosphere. The entrance is one of the best I've seen and then you head upstairs to a room with various seating options high tops on poles, lounge areas & even swings). The drink menu does change over time and all were good. I had the Oú ESt Charlie, which was light with a hint of sweet to balance the citrus. Everyone enjoyed all their drinks as well. They also have a snacks/appetizers if you need something to munch on. Just FYI, if you are tall, watch your head on the stairs.

An amazing speakeasy located in Paris! Definitely get there early because it does get packed and you will have to wait. Once you get through the entrance and up the stairs you are in a fun spot for small bites and amazing cocktails! They also do the classic cocktails as well, incase if you cant find some on the menu for yourself. I ended up having the Lelavomilk and the petite paloma. Both cocktails were fantastic and presentation was great!

Not to blow the cover on this speakeasy or give too much away, but it's nice, a good variety of music and they have a unique drink menu. Definitely one of my favorites in Paris

This speakeasy is such a cool concept & offered a great experience. The cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to us throughout our entire visit. I can not wait to go back the next time we are in Paris.

Lavomatic is THE best speakeasy in Paris. If you don't come here wyd?? We came in and got a little confused on how to get in but that is the beauty of a speak easy. When you do get upstairs you will absolutely love everything about this place. It has a cost esthetic and the bartenders are AMAZING and welcoming as ever. If I'm ever in Paris again I'll definitely be back. I love this place.

This is probably the coolest speakeasy I've gone to in Paris. I arrived at 18:00, and there was no line (nor the bodyguard) at the door; I simply pressed the button on the washing machine and entered through the door. Bar is small, but cozy with friendly service from the waiters and bartender. My cocktail was fruity and refreshing, and it came with some olives, which was a nice touch. It's not cheap, but for a drink and great service, Lavomatic is my favorite speakeasy in Paris thus far. It's worth experiencing!

Super cool speakeasy in Paris France. We waited 20 minutes on the street to get in. We went through the washer and up the straits to a small room that was a bar. The hostess sat people. The drinks were yummy. They had a special for Valentine's Day. Cost was 13-14 Euros what you would expect. They played good music. But the sitting area was small.

Oh the secret bars of Paris in La Republique area of France & there are a few. This by far was my favorite. It is hidden in plain sight and just truly awesome!!! You enter the laundromat and press the washer button and enter the secret bar. It is just so cool you walk up the narrow steps and find yourself in this cute little friendly sit down bar, with adorable laundry inspired decor, low ceiling, and great cocktails. The staff is awesome we sat at the small bar while our mixologist made our drinks in front of us. Must visit place in Paris!

Winter is Coming cocktail. A bit dark since I didn't want to spoil the mood by using the flash.

What a great find!…read more This bar doesn't look like much from the outisde but once you walk in, its super cool and full of character. The bar staff was extremely friendly and educated us on the history of the bar. Both bartenders spoke english and were from United States. It was explained to us that Lulu White was a brothel madam, that was concidered to have more power than the mayor of New Orleans during the late 1800s. Her brothel contained a "Blue Book" that allowed patrons to chose their companion via photos. The Lulu White bar, took this concept and allows you to chose your drink according to the individuals photographed in the "Blue book". We were told the individuals listed in the book change about every 6 months but the Lulu White drinks remains constant. I tried the Lulu White: Altos Anejo Tequila, Plymouth Gin, Genepi, Absentroux, and Cardamon noir. It came in a elegant beautiful glass and It tasted like a dry martini with a licorice flavor from the absinthe. This was definitley a drink you sip on to enjoy. The décor of the bar, resembled historical New Orleans with its dim lighting and elegant décor and half moon booth seating. This was a great surprise, and I recomment anyone to stop by and check it out!

Still a strong mix of anglophones but locals seem to balance out the crowd. Fairly priced cocktails. I had the Beatrix which was a little too bitter for my taste, so switched out to the Pale Ale which was tasty. The live music was fantastic! Not sure if the ensemble is there every weekend, but they made a great trio. I'd visit when/if in Pigalle again.

Really love this cocktail bar (p.s. there is really no wine, coffee, tea, etc)…read more Wonderful red velvet armchairs, groovy 1960s rock 'n roll music in the background and a New York style cocktail bar from the 30s....what more do you want!!! The service is fabulous, poor English, though extremely helpful. It's a very cosy bar. If you're in the area, do check this place out...it's also very central to so many other places in Paris, so it's a great place to start or finish at...I wouldn't make it THE place to go. I had a very fruity vodka based cocktail (see photos) and my wife had a sweet beetroot cocktail (which she was fabulous).

Perfect taste in music: Check. Best - and I really mean BEST cocktails this side of Manhattan: Check. We stumbled into Dr. Lupin looking for a quick night cap and eneded up spending the best part of 4 hours there. So: we walk in. The bloke behind the bar exclaims before we even sat down: "I have no idea how to make a cocktail! I'm just guarding the fort! I can pour a beer if thats what you want". "Sure". I notice something about Jack Daniels in the bar and casually mention a Lemmy... "Don't move! The real bar tender is a Motörhead fan!". Peter (I think that's his name, but I was hammered, so could well be Rudolph for all I remember), walks in and takes his place behind the bar. We start exchanging stories of how we met Lemmy back when he was immortal... Aaaaaand... it was all uphill from there on. We slap some Motörhead on the sound system, cranck it up to 11... and the rest is history. I did mention the best cocktails this side of Manhattan. Let me explain: 50ml of Gentleman Jack 20ml of maple syrup 2 dashes of angostura bitters Top off with stout or porter beer. Grate some Tonka bean on top That called a Lemmy Angel and it's MAGIC! You have to try the hot bloody mary too. If only to see the only known use of a flame thrower in the preparation of a cocktail. EPIC! Merci les amis. Ce fût une soirée mémorable!
