It was tucked in the corner, construction everywhere, we asked around n no one knew about it! and it really took effort to find this bar. Glad I did! There was a piano singer the night we went. The champagne is good, the music was in English, not too loud that you can carry in a conversation.

In this elegant hotel, after navigating valeted sports cars, chauffeur driven Maybachs, and the nicest classic Citroen performance sedan I've seen, you enter a lobby cocktail lounge that is the Canlis of cocktail lounges! From the valet and door staff to the hostess, maitre d and elegant servers the service could not have been much finer. Including coat check from the table and lounge settee with chairs. The bar appears to be full of whatever you would like but a signature cocktail menu that reads like a beautiful coffee table book is given to everyone. The drinks with names like Corn, Apple, etc are given to elaborate cocktails that are crafted with multiple layers of ingredients. Seems weird but everyone loved theirs and we all shared sips. I highly recommend that here if you are familiar with your companions. Call your banker first as $30 per drink is average! But the girl I raised bought it so whatever? Wish I photographed that menu!! Service is bright with ample and thoughtful olive and nuts assortments and water backs for all without asking. For a splurge I could not urge enough of you to try!! Seeing this hotel property alone is worth it right down to the gilded bathrooms excellently attended. We did not try the food as they were just about to convert to first dinner service and we had Xmas Eve dinner for the family booked at a different Michelin star restaurant later. I'll bet the food is the shizzle though!!!

The server was attentive and recommended great selections of wine & food. We had the barata and the branzino with Japanese broccoli. It was very good. The bread that was served as an appetizer was yummy too. There is also a wonderful backdrop of the Arc de Tromphie ! I would come back for sure .

In the morning of that day I've got a text message from the restaurant that my reservation is at 20:00, but we have to leave the table at 22:00!!! Can you imagine?? Just two hours for the birthday celebration! I didn't have time to find another restaurant, because I knew that they have DJ at night and I basically didn't have time to find another one. The food was pretty good, but the stuff was terrible! The waiters had face expression like we came there to eat for free! I felt very unwelcome there. And I would definitely fire the hostess /administrator of that restaurant, if I was the owner! When I was talking to her trying to figure out what exactly happened and if we can pay extra just to stay there, she told me not to raise my voice at her!! It was so rude, because I was talking to her absolutely normally! And yes, the birthday celebration was just for two hours, we paid more than €600 for 4 people and they asked us to leave the table! I live in Miami, so we have tons of amazing restaurants! Also I have been in great places in Milan, London, Moscow, etc and I can tell that the service in this place is the worst! It was the worst choice to celebrate birthday!! By the way, the DJ was just ok there, they could do better! Never coming there again! I have never been treated that bad! So, for me it was the worst experience ever!!

It was a Saturday evening and we didn't have a reservation, but to our surprise we were seated right away. They didn't bring water to the table until I asked for it. Service became friendlier after I attempted to speak in French. I had the Beef bourguignon, which was flavorful, but very fatty. My husband had onion soup, which he enjoyed, and creme brulee, the latter being creamy and delicious.

The staff was highly attentive, and very sweet--when a glass of water spilled over my son's notebook he had been drawing in, a server snatched it up and took it to the kitchen, from were it returned a short while later completely dried by the oven, successfully avoiding tears. The food was good, though not mind blowing. I had a pepper steak, which was cooked well but the pepper sauce was not so flavorful. My son's hamburger, ordered from the children's menu, was excellent and served with a lot of fixings, and would have made a great adult meal (I can see why the menu is very clear the children's options are for children!). We also ordered snails, which were good, but not the best--though good enough to turn one of the children into a fan.

I was so happy we stumbled upon this! There is a dress code so prepare. But luckily they felt bad for us, since we just stumbled onto it after a day in the city. Everything we had, drinks included was delicious. Service was on point DJ Disliked- Disliked- Disliked- Disliked- Disliked- Disliked- Where was coat check? lol There is a dining room for full dining and the rest of the space is for vibing and grabbing drinks... but I had nowhere to put my coat! Lol Of course not a deal breaker just preference. And maybe if you're familiar with the spot you'll dress accordingly. But.. because the spaces by the bar can get tight.. this was a bit of a struggle
