Poor after sales experience…read more Hawkins was recommended by my cabinet designer so that is where we went with our drawings to pick out appliances. Having no experience with down drafts, blowers and how they are installed,we ordered what was recommended to us. Come to find out after the blower was delivered that there are various options for blowers that would be compatible with the down draft for various installations, some with 10" ducts and external installations, and some with 8" ducts for internal installations. No questions about installation were ever asked by the salesman. I have 8" joists in the basement, making the installation of the considerably more expensive 10" external blower almost impossible. Not to mention the extensive cutting of the block wall in the basement that would be required. Tried to do a return of the 10" blower and was told this is not possible? What?!?!? The only solutions offered were that they could try and sell it on consignment and take a commission, or try and sell it myself on FB market place. So I had to purchase another blower to complete my kitchen renovation and am now stuck with trying to sell the 10" blower to try and recoup some of my money.

My suggestion is Home Depot or Lowes across the street, prices are similar if not lower. I wanted to support a small appliance company, in this case my mistake!!!

With my list handy, I called CB Joe's as well as two others. CB Joe's had a model close to what I was looking for in stock (a rare find these days). They could also deliver before Thanksgiving (one of a kind). The gentleman on the phone was knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and he didn't try to up-sell me. The price was good, and the service was great. The delivery team encountered some issues (truck got stuck and had to be towed), but they stayed in touch updating us throughout the day. They were fast (once they got here), friendly, and got the job done. If I need another appliance, I'm going to CB Joe's (or calling them , if we're still in a pandemic ;) ).

Consumer Warning: Do NOT Purchase from DH Appliances 4 Less (Jackson & Ewing, NJ)…read more We purchased an LG washer/dryer tower from DH Appliances 4 Less, trusting their website's claim that "ALL APPLIANCES FROM OUR LOCATION ARE NOT ONLY THOROUGHLY TESTED BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE, THEY EACH COME WITH 1 YEAR FREE CPS WARRANTY." He even told me that the only damage to the appliance was a small dent on the side, which he pointed out. Unfortunately, this turned out to be false. The appliance they delivered and installed was faulty and flooded our home, causing over $100,000 in damage. The owner, Andy Han, came to our house and we have a video of him promising to reimburse us. We asked about going through insurance, he said he would pay out of pocket. He quickly took the washer/dryer back, assuring us he would follow up once we assessed the damage. But we even had to dispute the charge through our credit card just to get a refund. One year later and numerous attempts to contact him and after hiring a lawyer at our expense, there has been no follow-up or any reimbursement from him. His website still falsely claims that every appliance is tested. This business is deceptive, dishonest, and irresponsible. Avoid DH Appliances 4 Less at all costs

You don't hear as much about them as you do some of the others, and I don't know why. We got straight talk, and a decent deal. They also deliver, install, and service what they sell.

Sales Person: Chip Finch was wonderful and very helpful. Found an inexpensive refrigerator and queen split box spring. Also purchased household things: sheets, comforter, etc.. Chip even assisted us in caring our purchases to the car. He also suggested a great place for lunch. Chip was an excellent sales person on a Sunday afternoon.
