I'm leaving a "1" because of the service & all around hospitality & the whole outlook of the store... The employees are very rude when I go in this store I have someone follow me the whole time I'm shopping and I don't mean like a safe distance, I mean standing right on top of me while I'm there handling some shopping of course... It is very aggravating when someone is all in your face and so my way to get them out my personal space is to go to another spot & once again shocker there they are stereotyping me I mean I feel like a criminal the way they treat me in this store. I just can't believe that they allow that here it is unreal!!! They make it terrible here but I shop here because it is right by my house so convenience is why... Something about this place makes me wants to come here for a reason, and mostly for their ice cream. I love the selection, beats brocks ice cream in price value and for some reason gives me an idea what ice cream tub I may actually buy by the gallon after just tasting a sample and buying 2 scoops of ice cream in a cone and then buying a tub of ice cream.. The convenience is great. But other than that, other stuff just browsing around the store, they are priced slightly higher compared to Walgreen's... Sigh. But nothing too drastic in price. The store is kept clean-----All The Time! And sometimes you have to seek for a nearest employee around the huge store to ask any questions/help looking for something.... Employees are fairly scarce, they need more employees on staff not just 1 in the front counter, several employees at the pharmacy counter, and about 2 employees somewhere around the maze of aisles.... Which I find it irritating. When I have to walk all the way there to find them when my product was on the other end of the store... Blah! Come to think, after writing this review... I should've just went straight to the pharmacy counter and ask to page someone on the intercom for faster customer service. **blonde moment** oops! read more

Had to call multiple days to finally get someone in the pharmacy to answer their phone. They were rude and had no information. They dont fill refills on time and act like you are inconveniencing them when you pick up your rx hours after its supposed to be filled and they dont have it ready. Such bad customer service. I ordered 5 bottles of lotions for my kids (I like to have back ups), online, when I went to go pick my items up the following day the manager said there was no items under my name. She picked up a bag with 5 lotions in the bag and asked if it was under another name, so I stated my husbands name, she said no, that's not the name on the receipt. She then says can I help you with anything else? I said "yes, you can fix the issue". I asked what was the name on the receipt and she stated aborjeet. I then showed her the confirmed email that my items were ready for pickup and she said we don't go by emails. I then said the order number out loud to her, I started getting frustrated when she became dismissive when she asked is there anything else I can help you with. She then looked at the receipt for aborjeet, which was an order for nail lacquer not lotions, so I stated why did you not look to see if the product in the bag matched the receipt, she then stated that she was looking up my receipt. When she finally found my order, no apologies were said, which I stated to her, in which the manager then replies "I said sorry to you 3 times honey," in such a condescending way. Some advice, don't call a customer "honey" when they feel dismissed, not only is it really bad customer service but rude and condescending. I will not shop at this rite aid again, worst customer service and this was supposed to be the manager helping me out, wow so disappointed in her and her customer service skills. read more

Yelp really should add a zero star rating. Breathtaking incompetence is what you should expect if you do business with this "pharmacy". I have a prescription that has a zero dollar copay. I went to have it filled a week ago and they said they only had a seven day supply. They said I could pick that up then they'd contact me when the rest of the medications came in. I got a text saying my prescription was ready to be picked up. I went to the drive through and was told they had my medication and that it would be $30. I explained that it should be a $0 copay. They then told me that they hadn't gotten an order of the drug that is approved by my health plan and my only recourse was to pay the $30. The pharmacists I spoke to acted as if Rite Aid held no responsibility for getting the right drugs in. It seems the company I have entrusted to precure my medications bears NO RESPONSIBILITY for not DOING THE JOB they contracted to do. I said I'd pay for the prescription but work on finding a place that could actually do their job. Shortly after I received a punitive text saying I had been withdrawn from auto refill (something I did not request). So, Rite Aid is now punishing me because they are incompetent. Save yourself the trouble and seek your medications elsewhere. Judging by the rapid turnover of employees, I suspect this is a horrible place to work as well. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! read more

Ok, I usually never give a one star rating on my reviews. I feel I have been coming to this Rite-Aid for many many years. And it never fails, that every time I step in just to purchase a cone of ice cream, they are always out of cookies and cream. I am always told, "you can purchase a tub, it's on sale". True, but if I would want ice cream at home I would not even come to the ice cream counter. I come here because the Thrifty brand ice cream is delicious, but what is the point when they never have the flavor you like. I am not sure who is in charge of doing the ordering for the ice cream. I do highly suggest they review the ordering process and/or forecast the quantity needed for cookies and cream accordingly, as it is a very popular flavor. It's gotten to the point where my friends bet that this Rite-Aid will be out of my favorite flavor, and in all honestly, I'm sick of paying lost bets! read more

Usually love going to rite aid, I'm there at least twice a week. Last night I had a clerk there named Mai. So cold and unfriendly . She didn't smile, didn't acknowledge me, didn't act like she even heard my questions. Finally, with a smile, I asked her if she was having a bad day. She just stared at me and said no. She put me in a bad mood. I should have gone across the street to CVS. They smile there. Perhaps she should go into another line of work where she doesn't have to deal with people. read more

OK if you shop at Rite-Aid you know they have this reward card that you can use in order to get discounts and so forth. Well, I get this email from them stating I have a 25% off coupon to use in the store with the exception being one cannot use it on alcohol, prescription, and dairy products. I get up to the checkstand with the items I want to purchase, which included none of the above prohibited items, and was denied because the cashier said the coupon only applied to Christmas items. WHOA! where does it say that? I just said forget it and walked out didn't want to waste time arguing about it. No wonder this place loses to Walgreens, it's because of their bait and switch routine on most everything. This place is very on time when it comes to ordering and receiving your prescription, but I've noticed that they do not offer consultation when you get a new medicine. I've had it once out of all the times I've gone (6 times). The last time I received Tamiflu and just took it in stride but ended up having really bad side effects. None of which were mentioned to me, when I called about the side effects the pharmacist sounded like it was MY fault. When she never even told me anything about the prescription. I'm still going to go here but I hope they step up their consultations. read more

I wanted one simple home remedy from this huge drug store, Rite Aid, but its medicine section is very small compared to the size of the store. The two widest aisles In the store are for beer, soda, and junk food. There was no one in the pharmacy area and the one cashier had a line of about 5 customers. Went to Walgreen's--which always has stocking clerks available--& got what I needed immediately. read more

This use to be a great pharmacy but they have gone down hill the last few months. I always refill my prescriptions on a timely matter, I was told my prescriptions would be ready by a specific time but when I went to pick them up I was told they were out of stock and didn't expect a delivery for a few days. This is unacceptable, I asked why they didn't tell me this when I handed in the script, the clerk just shrugged her shoulders. I asked for my script back and drove out of town to a different Rite Aid. This has happened two months in a row! My mother and I went to Rite Aid to get some folded chairs that were on sale. All but two had broken arms and when we asked about getting an additional discount on the damaged product, the guy asked us how much of a discount, because he could send them back to the warehouse and get new ones! Great prices, well stocked and CLEAN. I just moved to Olivehurst from the Bay Area and I love this Rite Aid. The customer service is friendly and the hand packed Thrifty ice cream is delicious! Go for the ice cream if for no other reason. I have been using CVS for prescriptions so I don't know how good they are in that department yet, however, I plan to move my prescriptions over now that I know this Rite Aid exists because it is closer to me. read more

There is no pharmacy store hours on the website indicating they close for lunch. I have gone there 2 days in a row to pick up my prescription and they weee at lunch. It is both frustrating and inconvenient, I am disappointed they don't communicate that to their cunstoners on their site. read more

Yesterday (Sunday, November 13, at about 9:15 a.m.) I got lost in Yuba City looking for N. George Washington Blvd., and I stopped by Rite-Aid to ask for directions. The young man and woman at the counter could not have been nicer and they were so very helpful. I was running late and if I seemed in a hurry and harried, I truly apologize. Unfortunately, I didn't get their names but I want to thank them both SO MUCH - they directed me in the right direction, and I got to my destination in time.
