I went to go visit my local CVS pharmacy last month on 1/29/25. It was just after they had opened up the store. I heard a loud voice shouting so I walked by to see what was going on. I noticed what seemed to be a manager yelling at a young man wearing scrubs. I have seen this young man in the pharmacy, and he has always giving great service and is a welcoming face for the pharmacy. It was weird to see him being talked to in such a rude manner by someone who is in a leadership role. I really hope this is not how he, and other are treated because from an outsiders point of view, this is a toxic work environment. That made me rethink about coming in to THIS cvs. If that's how their employee are being treated, I can't imagine how they would treat the customer. Belittling employees in front of customers is also not a good look for the store. read more

Contacted your supplier to find it.We ended up calling the doctor to get a prescription for something comparable to get us through. He did not stop until he got the job done!! He is amazing. This place will screw you on prices for your medications! I never get the same price and they charged me $510 for the same RX they charged me $210 for the last month, stating that they were no longer giving discounts. However, when I called to ask what happened, the girl said if my husband had brought his own discount card they would've used it. When I spoke with the pharmacist she said NO, no discounts. How can a medication go up $300 in one month? Also went through my history and found the name brand of this same drug that was LESS than the generic they charged my husband for today! RIP OFF! Do not go here unless you have money to waste and burn. I think this is atrocious behavior and I'm calling their cooperate office tomorrow. This is robbery and a bunch of BULLSH#S! read more

Hello this store needs more Customer Service people that have knowledge on how they can be able to help there patrons with there issue on the spot. All they do is give you the 1-800 number to call. Even the Asst. Mgr. can't help! I read the difference are from on-line and in store are different prices (It's on the bottom of item, thats on-line website) and they DON'T match there prices! The'll have the item in stock but website say's different; NO LONGER IN STOCK. How are we able to make a purchase if there stock in store is available but Website show no availability to the products? This happened to me, went into store put on hold (Items in stock) tried to get help from Diana the asst. mgr., all could say is when the Store Mgr comes back all give her message or call the 1-800 number see if they can help! Is she not the assistant manager to help us customer's? These people in management need to understand their customer need now not tomorrow Help! My issue was resolved with calling the complaint department and it's not the number they give. I looked it up on google and found it. Made my complaint about this store! Maybe their management needs to be re-trained. Not to repeat the same verse. ( call the 1-800 number ), there's nothing I can do! I can't modify the price, we don't match on-line prices! Nice CVS, much nicer than the Marysville location. Staff was friendly and the store was clean and well put together. Everyone was wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer available throughout the store. It's a bit out of my way for regular visits but I'll definitely make a point of trying to go to this one. read more

I was given a rain check on 1/11/20 for a product on sale. Went back on 1/22/20 and still no product. 11 days? don't they order every week? Product was Nature's Bounty Vitamin E. Went to the milk case and no gallons. Bought a small size and without thinking anything amiss, didn't notice until I got home that the expiration date was 1/22/20, the day I bought it. I thought, WOW. What's going on? Normally, I have a good shopping experience at CVS. I hope this is not an example of things to come down the road. read more

I have been a customer of the CVS on Stabler Lane, Yuba City, CA, for several years. When I first started filling mine and my husband's prescriptions here the pharmacy was WONDERFUL and always took care of our need's and were very friendly and professional. We never had any problems until about the past year when all the staff started changing. Our prescriptions aren't being filled properly unless Catlyn the original pharmacist is working. The customer service skills have gone down hill tremendously. Except when the original staff is working. Which is not very often anymore. I don't even enjoy going to the pharmacy anymore. But this last incident has definitely resulted in us changing pharmacies. This is what happened... first of all I've been on the medication involved for 15 years and never had a problem until the pharmacist Ruthy came along... I have never abused my medications and do not have any history of abuse at all. But Ruthy seems to think I do. I went to have my prescription refilled and my Dr. was apparently out of town. So because I was in the process of switching to a new Dr. I decided to call my new Dr and go ahead and have him fill it. Which he ok'd it with no problem. However, Ruthy decided she didn't like the fact that a new Dr ok'd it and she called the new Dr and wanted to speak to him about the medications I was on and make sure he was aware that I was on medication through a different Dr also. Which of course he new that I was because I was in the process of transferring myself and my medications over to him as they came due for refill. That is how I was advised to transfer them. I had already spoke with a different Pharmacist earlier that day about how I'm transferring to a new Dr that would be filling my medication incase they were wondering why my medication was being filled by a different Dr. And I was advised that made since and there's not a problem with it. So why did Ruthy refuse to give me my medicine even thou it was approved by a Dr.?? You tell me. I called and spoke with the answering service of my new Dr about it and they were confused in what and why she was questioning the Dr's approval. And this was 6 pm now and the Dr's are gone for the day. So she was jepordizing my health by making me have to wait until the next day to get my medicine that was already approved by a Dr. Besides, Dr's go on vacation all the time and have another Dr ok their patients medication while they are gone. So again, why was Ruthy making me out too be a druggie that was trying too abuse my medication that was already 4 day's past it's renewal date because I don't even take as much as I am prescribed to take daily. I don't know why but I know that I was getting more upset about the whole situation so I then called Ruthy at CVS and asked her what the problem was and she begain to ask me 50 ridiculous questions about why am I leaving my old Dr and how long have I been a patient and I said 15 years and she proceeded asking totally irrelevant questions that had nothing to do with my medication. But even though I shouldn't have to be answering these ridiculous questions I did and was very cooperative and pleasant to her. Then she asked me to hold while she checked with the government to see if she can fill the medication. Which was BS. About 10 minutes of being on hold Ruthy comes back on the phone and said that she checked the government file on me and seen that I have NEVER abused or called any of my medication in early or had any records of abuse EVER!!! So she agreed to release my medication to me but now it was around 8pm and I live an hour away from the pharmacy!! And can't drive at night!!! So again another day goes by jeopardizing my health for a reason that not only unknown but UNCALLED for. Do to this situation with Rudy as well as other problems with the newer staff that is in the pharmacy on and off, we have decided to transfer all our medication to another pharmacy. I will miss the old staff crew dearly as they were all great people. But it is what it is. Thanks Ruthy , I hope CVS is real proud of their new hires. read more

Worst pharmacy in this area. The pharmacist was so rude and when I got rude back she called my doctor to report I was obtaining medication illegally. After some investigation by my doctor he found this allegation made by the pharmacy to be false. Not only are they rude but 9 times out of 10 you will either not get the right medication or get the wrong dosage. Also, they do not honor discounts that they are obligated to honor. I dread coming here for prescriptions. Been doing it for years and they managed to screw things up at least once a year! It is a 60 mile round trip drive in, and most of the times I go in just to make a pick up there, or hit them first if I have errands before they get busy. I transferred some prescriptions (2) over to them in mid-Jan. I called on Friday to have them filled, verified the two of interest (the only ones they have), verified the number and verified they would be ready for today, Tuesday morning - they said they would be ready in a few hours... but I gave them 4 days. So I arrive there at 9am and there is only one prescription. Took them 10 mins to find the other prescription and then I would have to wait for it to be filled. Went shopping and had too many high priced groceries to go driving back to CVS to pick it up (IF it was even ready), and didn't want to be exposed to those who are sick as this place as well as a doctors office or lab is not a place to be currently, so drove back up in the foothills. Will transfer the prescriptions to a place that can hopefully get things correct. I have been asking myself why I deal with this CVS as it is usually going to be some issue.... read more

The pharmacy staff is rude, and they do not like to be corrected. They are famous for filling my mom's (and other people's) prescriptions too soon, and then MediCare dings my mom! One of the employees (Jackie) gives a very intentional, deep, annoyed sigh when I let her know that my mom is only due one medication and not four. The pharmacy staff seems to think they are the only act in town. I go to Ride Aid now, and my mom is in the process of changing, also. Update: My mom is getting her meds from Canada now. It costs less, and she's not getting attitude. read more

Use Rite-aid. This store is chronically understaffed, and the store seems scruffy - not dirty, but over-used and under-maintained, like a Goodwill store. There is always a long line to pick up prescriptions, and even when the line is not ridiculously long it takes longer than it should to get the meds. Similarly, there will only be one cashier at the checkout, and she is doing extra duty at shelf monitoring and may take a little while to scurry back to the register. On the bright side, though, liquor prices are very good. That's the only drug I buy here. read more

If you're looking for great prices go somewhere else, but for a convenience item or to grab something that is on sale, this is a good CVS to visit. read more

Dropped off two prescriptions, was told they would take one hour to fill. Returned one hour and fifteen minutes later and walked up to the pickup window (first in line). For the next 5 minutes I watched 4 employees, facing me, working on whatever tasks they had. No one looked up to see me or to speak to me. Finally one clerk asked my name and hearing it she said my prescriptions were ready. A different clerk then began a search for my medicines. Customer service deplorable.
