Sorry to not see any other reviews of this Rite Aid, but I used them for years picking up prescriptions at the drive thru for two ailing parents. Overall, I found them ok, not great but not too much negative. I found a high turnover rate in pharmacy techs though, so never really got to know one before they were gone and another in the original's place. As far as service of the pharmacy staff, average. I really missed the days when the original "mom & pop" pharmacies closed because the chain store pharmacists never get to know you like the originals did. An original pharmacist would call, for example, if the prescribed drug wasn't going to be available until the next day. With this store, sometimes they would call, sometimes not, so you might not find out until you drove up to the window that the drug you needed wasn't going to be available until next day. I think the biggest negative for me though, and which is making me rethink even giving them the 3 stars I did, is the fact that there are some prescribed drugs that are available over the counter. The staff here would never bother telling you this and for one drug, until I found out myself that it was also OTC, I ended up paying 3-5 times the price through them! Shouldn't be! However, they were barely ok since there really wasn't an alternative unless you wanted to drive 10 mi to the next closest town. read more
