Even one star is too much for this filthy pharmacy. I knew that from long time ago and I stopped going there ; however, I was in the area and I was sick so I requested to send my prescription to this rite aid. They called me at 2:34 pm today and told me that my prescription is ready. I got there at 2:50 pm but a very nasty and rude employee said that they were closed for lunch!! I knew their lunch hours so I talked to a manager but she wasn't helpful at all. To me this is a nasty store with rude employees and there is no law and regulations about their working hours. They are not timely and most of the staff is rude. There are a few bright spots but if you are on pain meds and need them filled on an exact date, good luck, Also you will get different answers and service from one pharmacist to another. Kim then went to go see if any were in the back, fortunately I got my cotton candy ice cream she had had some on hold for another customer but gave it to me. Eye drops took 23 hours. Pre-packaged eye drops, that they did not make or count or package. Completely incompetent. They're polite, but honestly that is ridiculous. I am going to change pharmacies, even though they are only 1 block from my house. ALSO, some years ago I needed an unusual birth control prescription (3 packs to be taken in 2 weeks) for a fibroid situation. The pharmacist REFUSED to fill my prescription (while I stood there almost unconscious from anemia) until I told her my diagnosis (none of her business!!!) because she didn't want to fill it if it was a "morning after" situation. NONE OF HER BUSINESS!!!!! I'm just done with the pharmacy. The store is fine and if you just need chips and q-tips and halloween decorations they're fine. read more

My cousin's and I initially came here to restock on beer for our get together. We grabbed two cases and headed for the register. It was at this point that my cousins realized that they weren't carrying their IDs with them. I showed the cashier my ID, but she refused to sell me the beer on grounds that everyone with me had to show an ID. We all clearly looked over 21, but they claimed that it still wasn't enough to sell me the beer. This was a bit understandable. The reason I docked two stars was because of the attitude we received. We weren't rowdy, nor did we look like trouble makers. Maybe they were just having a bad night? Either way, customer service goes a long was, and lack thereof goes an even longer way. read more

The pharmacists have always been really helpful and communicative, particularly when my health insurance has made getting my necessary medications extra difficult. Staff are incredibly RUDE here. Tried to refund a product and was offered half its original price because I had no receipt. THEN when they realized they had no gift cards in the entire store, they tried to direct me to another store miles away to do the refund. I refused and am now stuck with a product I don't need. They then refused to open a register to break a bill for me. So from now on I'll just be going to this store to drop off my Amazon returns as needed via their locker. I been to this store a few times. They are nice. People here work hard and it has to be tiring. I think people act up sometimes and I understand it must be hard to deal with bad customers. However me and my wife are always respectful. My wife came here to buy some make up for 5 dollars. The lady behind the counter sarcastically told my wife "well, your transaction was approved" smirk smirk. My wife is a minority. She was very upset. I am not sure what type of experience the workers have here but you they need to deal with each customer individually and not discriminate based on their color of skin or background. read more

Tonight we met the nicest Rite Aid Associate her name is Kim. We were looking around the store for a variety of items when Kim approached us. She took the time to show us where things were and gave my wife very helpful suggestions for the items on her list. Exceptional people in this store, Super friendly, always smiling and ready to lend a hand. This store seems to be well stocked, at least for what I need. This store is always out of stock. Also be careful at checkout, they automatically charge you for a mandatory donation to KidCents if you use a rewards card. They have a class action lawsuit against them pending (google it), especially since Rite Aid is keeping a percentage of the donation that they automatically charge you read more

I am well aware that it is considered an affront to expect simple competence from people providing important services, especially pharmacies, but this store really takes the cake. Twice I have come in for prescriptions one called the day before that was estimated to be ready the day I called it in. The other was supposed to be ready the same day and the pharmacy had had hours to prepare it. If estimating when the prescription is ready is this hard, then don't give an estimate. People need there medicines since your computer cannot estimate the time the perscription will be ready have a human do it or don't do it at all. People have other things to do than wait for you to fill prescriptions you claim are already filled! What really pisses me off is I could have waited tonight anyway if the bathroom was open and I did need the medicine that I was told would be ready long before I came in. Couldn't you be competent in at least one area? People need their medications and do not have time to sit all day in the pharmacy, so give approximate estimates of pick up times or don't give them at all. Open your bathroom so when people do have to wait they can use it. There was once a public bathroom at this store. GET IT TOGETHER. You are being paid for a service. They remodeled so it looks better than before! It's very neat and well organized. Whenever I go into rite aid I feel like I've entered a hospital or something, their lighting is weird. On 7/24/19, I was at this pharmacy. I picked this pharmacy because its open late, no other reason. I've never received great customer service but this time was the final straw. When completing my transaction at the Pharmacy, Cashier #57172542 told me to check option 2 on the keypad, that says "I have been counseled by a pharmacist" and proceeded to complete another person's transaction. I told her, "I haven't been counseled, can I get a consult?" She rolled her eyes, let out a frustrated sigh and called for the pharmacist. Sean Chen, I believe is his name, came over with an attitude and said, "What do you need?" "I was wondering if I could get an explanation of the medicine, how to take it, an explanation of side effects or anything I should be worried about." He said "the explanations are on the package and you should use the medications because an infection is what YOU should be worried about." I was so shocked by my "consult" that I made my purchase and left speechless. This was the worst experience I have had here. I have repeatedly noticed that this pharmacy doesn't counsel its customers. I called Teladoc to get a consult on the medications and how to take them and the Dr. said I only needed 1 of the medications, they don't know why the pharmacy would sell me 2 medicines without explaining their purposes and having me pick the best option. I wanted to share my experience because I really hope these employees get additional customer service training. I have sent Rite Aid corporate an email and I was contacted by the store manager and she apologized. The manager was insincere and no help at all. I went back today to return the 2nd medication that I didn't need. I went to the front registers and they said I needed to be rang up at the pharmacy. I told the two girls that I had the worst experience and I didn't want to go back there. They sent me back to the pharmacy. The same miserable cashier was at the register. I was in line and she let some woman that was in some aisle go in front of me and rang her up first. I told her I had a return and she told me to go to the the front registers. I told her I was just there and I was told to see the pharmacy. She looked at the item and said she didn't think I could return it. I offered to show her the rite aid return policy and she walked away and said she didn't need it. She spoke to someone and came back to finish my return. The cashier was nice enough to tell me that the bottled water was 2 for $6.00. I told him I would come back for the second packet since the basket had the protection bar on it. The cashier immediately said he would get someone to help me; I thought that was very kind and thoughtful as I told him I would just make two trips. The person he had come to help me, tall, younger blond gentleman, obviously did NOT want to help me and proceeded to pull a basket out that did not have a bar on it out. I told him I could just use that one then and bring it back but he did not HEAR me because he did not want to help me. Then the gentleman proceeded to ask me "were (are) you at Ralphs. . . were you at the gym (I am over weight so he already knew I did not come from the gym lol) and finally "did you walk here". What this employee did NOT KNOW is that cashier #57175901 asked him to help me. . .NOT ME! I work for a local government. . . my dream job, perhaps not, but I pride myself on giving good customer service when I FEEL like it or not . . it is my job. The next positive experience I have here will be the first. Today was the straw that broke the camels back to get me to actually yelp (I typically only yelp very good or bad service/experience). Today, I took my daughter to get some ice cream and a few other items since she's been doing great in school. I waited for the ice cream person to come over which is totally understandable since it was busy. Finally an older gentleman named "Jimmy" Came over and rudely said "what do you want it on?!" I was confused because we hadn't even said a word to each other yet. I figured out finally that he was referring to cone or cup. They only had 4 flavors available, so my daughter decided on chocolate. I walked away for maybe 30 seconds to grab something for my son and when I returned, Jimmy has started ringing up my other items (I did not ask him to do this). After he saw me reach down for more items he rolled his eyes and huffed "if I had know you had all that I would've sent you over there" (pointing to the regular line). I was blown away at this point, but it continued. He asked me to type in my rite aid card number which I started to do, he was having issues running it thru and gasped again "what does the screen say?!" At this point I was losing my cool and my daughter was getting upset too since this guy clearly has some anger issues. I didn't say one single word after this point, but Jimmy continues, "I don't have any bags, you'll have to take your little car to your car then bring it back". Come on, Rite Aid I understand I have to deal with the high prices since this location is right by my house, but why do your staff always have to be so rude?! This is unacceptable read more
