I am bothered to see other people writing bad reviews of the drugstore. There is a lot of demand and I have seen the main pharmacist working endless hours over the weekend. For months I've camplained that I wasn't getting my phone calls to inform me when my prescriptions…read morewould be ready. They checked my phone number and told me everything was ok. Again, I was not called when my prescriptions were ready and again I was told everything was fine on their end. The next time this happened I was told I must have their number blocked, everything was ok on their end. I checked my phone and there were no blocked numbers. On my next visit I was told their call system worked for everyone else, the problem was with my phone.... I have never been called without my phone notifying me; except by Kinney Drug. In the Spring of 2022 I was informed, at the pharmacy counter, that Kinney Drug no longer offered "autofill". Now I have to call in my prescriptions individually. On January 11, 2023 I called in a prescription and was told Kinney Drug would contact my Dr. for a refill. I went in on January 17th to pick up my prescription and it wasn't ready. I was told I had to call my Dr. because there were no refills. I asked if I could have one pill to hold me over until the prescription was filled. I was refussed the pill and the pharmacist told me to manage my prescriptions better. My Dr. said there records showed I had refills left but still called the pharmacy to renew. When I picked up my prescriptions I had a copay. I explained that I have never had copay and my insurance covered 100% of my prescriptions cost. The pharmacist checked their records and told me I now have a copay. I paid the copay, I really needed the prescription. Later that day my insurance company told me the pharmacist submitted the claim incorrectly and my prescriptions are covered 100%. I contacted the District Manager for my refund. I will never go in that store again. Check with your insurance before buying at Kinney Drug. I've been a customer of this pharmacy since 2014. NOT ANYMORE!!!! I COULD ONLY TAKE SO MUCH.

My RX has been on a national wide shortage and has been a challenge to not only get each month but also plan around and figure out how to best set expectations. Other pharmacies have been curt, unhelpful and made a stressful situation worse - but NOT these folks - they have been SUPERB! I can't say enough about how they have patiently assisted me with questions, educated me when needed and responded promptly each and every time I've needed anything. Again, pharmacies can be an under the radar type of relationship for many of us - but if you have the option - these folks are professional, helpful and all around impressive at their job! That pharmacist called back later and said they didn't have the right number. When I called to give them the right number, a new pharmacist said they now had a policy not to give that medicine at the store and that my prescription was expired anyway, suggesting that they did get through to the pharmacy. Someone was clearly lying, not to mention messing with my health, since I need this dose every month. When I asked about what the first pharmacist had said, the second just kept saying: we no longer provide that medication. What kind of a pharmacy doesn't provide the medication you need?

They are knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to fill/refill prescriptions. They know us so we aren't one of a thousand faces that cross their counter. And one of these important facets is two pharmacies coexisting in town. Roberts-Scarlett Pharmacy occupies a relatively small footprint in one of the iconic strip malls in town, yet every square foot is used to service the customer. Service is superb, always a smile from the attendants, always a recommendation, and then in the back, attentive pharmacists who will answer any questions. Their product selection is quite varied, especially on orthopedics, vitamins, cold/flu stuff, and the like. All of it reasonably priced, providing great value to the customer. And by the way, it is the only pharmacy in the area that takes Tricare, the military/veteran prescription network. Truly an important presence in the community.
