I explained to the clerk that she was waiting in the car and really needed to get back into bed- crickets.crickets.crickets Twenty minutes. I politely asked if there was a way to expedite. "We have a process". Gracious. I would love to do some shopping, but the shelves are completely bare. So it's drive back home and come back again or wait out the additional 17 minutes. read more

I did business with Rite Aid for years when they had their main street and Innis Avenue location and then when that store closed I transferred to the 3350 North Road location and for a while things were nice but about a month or so ago I had to literally do everything I could which meant spending money I couldn't afford to spend just to get to and from the pharmacy because they no longer delivered pharmaceuticals through the mail and they did not have a delivery service which meant I had to pick it up physically so when I heard that the Hooker Avenue store permanently closed I decided enough was enough I now do business with CVS pharmacy rite aid you were good in your time but now it's time for you to fade off into the sunset because honestly if you stay in business any longer you're only going to end up going bankrupt faster there is nothing absolutely zero that would make me want to do business with this pharmacy ever again and they still send me messages text and email about refills when I no longer have my refills set there at the 3350 North Road location that shows the level of incompetence it's either incompetence or they just don't give a crap so goodbye rite aid nice knowing you! read more

I don't think I've ever been in a nicer Rite Aid. The lighting is soft and comforting - so different from the norm! I interacted with 3 staff members, all of whom were very helpful and pleasant. The store is orderly and clean. There were no lines (!!!). I will be going a little out of my way to use this store instead of the one closest to my house (which feels like a punishment to enter). read more

Terrible pharmacy. They put the wrong instructions on my prescription. I just went back for another prescription and I asked about drug interactions and side effects and the pharmacist clearly had no interest in talking to me. They didn't even offer any information when they handed me the drugs. When I asked questions I felt as if I was invisible. read more

I called the pharmacy to ask if they could order a certain medication (which is a seizure medication) the person on the phone was incredibly rude, lazy and lacked customer service. The medication need only makes 2 brands and the one brand I'm allergic to, he refused to see if he could order it because "it takes too much time" he then told me to call tomorrow (I need the med tomorrow) or to go to a different pharmacy. All I needed to know was if they could order the medication so I could have my doctor send the prescription somewhere, but they were too lazy and lacked customer service to help me. Luckily, I called the south ave store and they helped me, had great customer service to and they're ordering the medication without any issues. read more

I would imagine this pharmacy gets a lot of business by being the closest store to both Marist College and St. Francis Hospital. The only reason I go into this pharmacy is it used to be the Eckerd where I filled my prescriptions. While the store is convenient and well-stocked, and the staff is friendly, I can find everything I would buy in a pharmacy like this cheaper someplace else. read more

Since 2015 when my father died at the nearby Mid Hudson Regional Hospital (formerly Saint Francis Hospital) due to heart conditions and they tried everything they could, I've been at this Rite Aid twice. And having had what I thought was the casual sinus pressure problem I had been having for the several days before this a tad earlier this month, decided to stop in to buy something to remedy it. On my most recent trip earlier this month, when I came in here for Sudafed PE (store brand) because I thought the decongestant was to fix a sinus pressure problem (which turned out to be something else entirely different). And although I felt awkward walking in (I had to overcome a fear of RiteAids having had some terrible times at my local RiteAids a little closer to me) and ended up looking like I had no clue where stuff was even with the not-so-quite visible signs which were never clearly visible or seen until later in the trip in, I found what I wanted when my mother (who came in here with me) had to help me find something (because I looked too dumb-founded to find it on my own and was about to go up-and-down each aisle until I found what I wanted to find). Having seen the register person come up to be behind her register was a chore. She was pregnant (although I have nothing against seeing this or interacting with the employee) and I had to give her the benefit of the doubt of taking more time to get there. (I was okay with this situation, though when we asked when her baby was due she said she was within a few weeks.) Prices might have been a little steep for the item, but the price I had to pay wasn't outrageous. I liked that you had a store-brand of the item I was looking for, but signage is definitely an issue. Even the price tags and sales signs are a little hard to see coming from above. I'd imagine if I was living closer to this pharmacy, I'd use it more often. But since I'm not, I'll just stop in from time-to-time when you are needed. I needed you the other day and you were there, and I thank you. (Oh yeah, before I forget): Parking. Parking also seemed to be interesting. I had come to this store in 2015 one time and parked in the front. However, I was pressed for time when I came in and parked on the side of this store on my latest visit. Signs said that there is a time restriction placed on spots here (unless you have handicap rights with a handicap placard or handicap license plate) and I was okay with that. I found that there is no direct entrance to-and-from US-9, but that was okay because I knew my way around. The corner seemed tight besides the drive-through which exits you out the side of the building where the drive-up window is. read more

I want to start by saying that the pharmacy staff is WAY overworked and understaffed. They can't even answer the phone because of how busy they are. This is a problem for they cannot check prescriptions over the phone or answer questions without the customer being physically in the store. As someone who desperately needed my medication at one point, it was extremely stressful to call and then have no one answer, only to be told to come back in an hour even though I had called. Bottom line: this location needs more support for their pharmacy staff, for these ppl are filling prescriptions as fast as they can to meet the demand, but there's no communication between customer and pharmacy which causes a lot of problems. Everyone I've ever spoken to at this location is LOVELY and so sweet, they are just overworked and understaffed, and do NOT get payed enough to deal with the mass demand and attitudes of some of the people in Poughkeepsie. read more
