If you have trouble lifting listen up!! Today I went in to Walgreens on North Plank Rd in the Town of Newburgh and they do not have shopping carts for customers. I asked someone and they mentioned they only have "one" shopping cart & it was in use. They claimed that people have stolen all their carts. They have ordered new ones and they're still waiting on them. What it offered is a hand basket type item. It has wheels and a long handle and you roll it on the ground. I had to literally bend over to place items into the basket & then pick up the basket at the register. This rolling basket situation is definitely not suitable for many disabled customers. It's pretty disappointing. ***Use caution if using them as it is also a tripping hazard.

UPDATE - MARCH 2017: Medical Arts has done much to improve their level of service over the past few…read moreyears. I have gotten MANY prescriptions here since my previous reviews and all of my transactions have been error free. The pharmacists and staff know their customers by name and they go out of their way to ensure each transaction is handled with courtesy, respect and accuracy. They have earned this 5 star rating and I apologize for not updating my review sooner. UPDATE - MARCH 2015: Finding another pharmacy was much more difficult than anticipated. Chain pharmacies have serious drawbacks that make them not worth the effort. I also learned that prescriptions for controlled substances can't be transferred which made a complete move impossible. I also found out that getting certain prescriptions at chain pharmacies are like trying to find ice in the desert. While I still have an issue with how my incidents were handled - my advice to everyone is to check everything yourself. Don't rely on others. I am still a customer here because the chains were worse.

This is about the pharmacy…read more So I had to get a refill on a pretty generic heartburn medicine that took literally five trips (all in one day!) Trip 1: That will be 200 dollars. Trip 2: Sorry we didn't add your insurance. That will be 200 dollars. Trip 3: Closed for lunch from 1:30 to 2 pm. That's fine but maybe a sign to let folks know? Trip 4: Here is your prescription for 30 days. I can't give you 90 days because the doctor didn't write a prescription for that. Trip 5: Oh nevermind, the doctor did write a prescription for 90 days. That will be 600 dolllars. Oh you have a GoodRx code? Nevermind 30 dollars. Eventually I got what I needed, but CVS employees did not seem to care about how much I'd need to pay until visit 5, and completely did not see a prescription on at least 2 visits. One star. The store is great however. Well stocked. Fairly priced. Good selection of candy, etc. The pharmacy? Meh.
