I find myself running into this 7-Eleven for a lotto ticket, gas, or a quick snack at least once a week. Right now, I'm addicted to their Japanese-style egg salad sandwich. The milk bread is fluffy and slightly sweet. It practically melted in my mouth. The egg and Kewpie mayo are creamy and delicious. Everything - from the texture to taste - makes this sandwich mouthwatering. I'm just sad it's nearly six dollars per sandwich. Not to mention that with the amount of these egg sandwiches I've eaten, I can feel my cholesterol climbing higher and higher. But it's SO delicious! I've forced myself to eat other foods to add variety, but I was thinking about the Japanese-style sandwich the whole time.

After dealing with a frustrating experience at another CVS pharmacy location over a vacation…read moreoverride prescription, I was so relieved to work with the team at the Carmen Drive CVS. They were professional, helpful, and actually knew how to handle the vacation override process. I had already spent way too much time going back and forth between the pharmacy, my insurance company, and my doctor. Carmen Drive made the process so much easier and got my prescription taken care of. It really makes a difference when pharmacy staff know what they're doing and are willing to help instead of sending the patient in circles. Thank you to the Carmen Drive team for making what had become a very stressful situation much easier. I truly appreciate your help and will definitely be coming back to this location!

Finally, some relief for my wallet! Is it just me or are car washes getting ridiculously…read moreexpensive? Been paying $25-$30 for mediocre car washes in the San Fernando Valley. Saw a coupon for this place closer to home for half the price... and the results were even better! Cleaner car for less money? Yes please. That also means more money leftover to give a bigger tip to the guys actually doing the work! I chose the most basic option -- GOLD WASH -- which includes a hand wash, vacuum, and windows. Cost is $13.99, however keep an eye out for $12 local coupons. Location is on the corner of Adolfo & Lewis near the railroad crossing. Plenty of seating in a shaded waiting area with a clear view of the cars being washed.

REVIEW: I love this gas station! For many reasons, including they are participating users of The Upside (see my bio) and the Rocket inside is so cool! Huge, open space. Many varieties of snacks and drinks, more so than the average convenience stores around the county. This is a big plus for me. Also, v clean restrooms! Whoop. Plus, they have a car wash/detailing on site (must try them next!) and you can also get an oil change if needed. Since it's conveniently located right next to the freeway you can pop here if you're in greater need than gas or snacks. The customer service is OK. I would definitely recommend!
