They told me that everything was done right, just pay the fine then we can try to refund it or just call them. Honestly, who should i believe.. them or the feds? Bro i paid you for your service because I don't understand tax/financial terms but I'm supposed to talk to the IRS ‍. I ended up giving the IRS/FTB and they explained it to me in detail. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACEEEEE!!! I even rarely review on google maps till now to warn people stay away from this place. We are with this service for many years (dad and brother too), not get problem till lately we received a mail about tax on 2017 said that we have to pay almost $300 for something wrong in 2017 tax. The mail is legit, not a scam. We came to them 2 times to ask for helping, hello, that's why we use your service because we have no clue about tax bla bla bla. Finally the lady said she check and nothing wrong with the way they filled but SHE SUGGESTED WE JUST PAID that's everything she could have done. We asked she took over this problem and solve it, there is address and name and phone number of people to contact, but yup, she suggested we paid it or contact them by ourselves. Dude, if we are able to understand this, do we use your service? You get paid for what? VERY IRRESPONSIBLE. So PLEASE STAY AWAY THIS PLACE YOU GUYS IF YOU DONT WANNA GET A BILL FEW YEARS LATER. P/s: to the owners, you want to get things better and be more irresponsible, you know who I am to contact. I had years going but the last 2 years was the worse..the wait is like 4 hours and that's when they open...it cost $200 just to file single ..make sure you have all your documents when you do them because they will charge you then tell you to bring the rest of the documents needed and if you can't get the proper paperwork then they will tell you no refund and no taxes file..horrible experience and waste of my time.. read more

I usually don't write reviews but i was upset at the fact that they were asking for everything this yr re my kids that I was claiming, I filed here for yrs and never had a problem. I filed and pay, and in order for them to complete they needed information from my Dr about my kids! I was upset because I waited for 6 fuken hours and the front people failed to tell me that I needed more information than what I had. I could have gone to my Kids dr and got what they needed and be able to file the same day!! I'm a full time working mama and can't afford to get another extra day off to file!!! Unfuckenorganized!!! So because I was so upset, that I just wanted to get it done and get the hell out of that office I paid the $190fee with them holding it for the letter I needed from my kids dr. So few days later I decided not to file with them and wanted to get my money back and they refused to give it to me! So I looked at my receipt and it says that the $150 was for filling and the $40 for the direct deposit.. I realized this when I got home so I called them and questioned the bank fees since they haven't send my tax refund yet! And sure enough they then say that I can get that back. They are a punch of Crooks! Beware of this place!! I would not go here if I were you!!! They don't deserve any stars for that matter IM NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE!! read more

And I mean NO ONE is better than Rosa and her staff at Ritax. Just one of many examples: I owed the irs $251,000 in taxes. And she got it settled for $6,000. YES. You read that correctly. And this year I thought I was going to have to pay around $7,000 and she got it down to under $2,000. Another thing is her incredibly pleasing disposition and her whole staff. A year or two after I would get done my taxes I would always have to pay something back or prove something etc etc etc every year (hassle) today I got tired of sending the IRS a million papers they continue to not except to regarding my 2015 taxes and had to break down and pay over $4032.45 (money) unexpectedly.. because of whatever they did when they did my taxes. Ive been doing my taxes here for a couple of years now and i havent had any complaints about my taxes being done. The only thing is the wait is long and the place is small. What i have learned to do is just to go in and drop off my paper work and pick up after no more than 2days. This place is great for the unemployed because they have all the time in the world to wait for the tax preparers to call on them. I'm not sure why it's so hard to schedule everyone according to their waitlist. We were new to this location and we were given the option of coming back 2 hours later and they'll take us on. That wasn't the case when we came back. We continued to wait an additional 2 hours and we still haven't been called upon. Every time we asked how much longer it'll be, the usual response is "15 minutes" - an hour has passed the last time you said 15 minutes. If they can't count their time correctly, how can they count your taxes correctly? The time we came here, there was a lady that was after us. She was taken on right away before us - how the f is that possible? That just seems like this place favors repeat customers and disregards new customers. There's a reason why your business started a waitlist - follow it. We just bolted even after waiting 5 long hours. FIVE F ING HOURS and they had the audacity to say, "5 more minutes". You just lost a corporation tax return filing. If you are a new account/customer with Ritax, Inc - I strongly suggest you head over to another tax preparer because you'll at the very bottom of the ladder to even see the tax accountant. I believe it's better to look for an accountant that you can schedule an appointment with. read more

But you have to wait, every time I go there I have to wait at least and hour (even when I called ahead for the appointment), last time I got really mad that I waited over 2 hours then finally get to see Lupe, and all she told me was drop off these papers and they ll call me. .. All that wait ... Then this time lupe told me to drop off the papers and she ll call me in few days. Never heard back from her. ... And this is not the first time this happens I had to keep calling back myself. I've been getting my taxes done here for a few years now, after my last guy really screwed up! Lupe and her people really went above and beyond to help me understand what needed to be changed and get my full return back. There is a bit of a wait, sometimes up to an hour but if you don't need to talk to anyone right away you can just drop them off and either come back that same day or the next. Worst place ever. Super unprofessional!!! Charged me for tax services for my girlfriend and I, and never processed our paperwork. Been waiting over 6 weeks for my returns, thought I'd give them a call just to check on the status. They very nonchalantly told me nothing was processed because they didn't receive payment? WTF you took the money directly from my account the day my taxes were allegedly processed. You even called me to verify my debit card number and confirmed payment went through. Also claimed not to have my girlfriends W2 on file but all info was sent via email together. How could you have my paperwork and not hers if they were sent together? Also if you didn't get her W2's how were you able to advise me on how much she would be getting back if you didn't have W2's?!?! Lies on top of Lies. They don't answer the phone for days on end. I submitted ALL necessary documentation along with the payment 5 weeks ago which was deducted from my account, I called to get a status update and they said they never received payment and are missing my W2s? What?!? I have no idea what's going on over there or if they just forgot to file them, either way UNACCEPTABLE!!!
