Caesar Salad
Holly K.

Had early dinner with friends. We were the first customers but others started coming in shortly after we were seated. Nice table in the dining room. We both ordered a large Caesar to share. Beware of the croutons, they were like rocks and honestly the flavor didn't even resemble a Caesar salad. My husband liked the taste better than I did. Two of us ordered the pork chop. Small chop very well done but good flavor with ok mashed potatoes and excellent broccolini ( my fav). The chicken piccata was just ok and hubbys pizza was also ok. We will try again but will stick with the Italian dishes like maybe chicken parm next time.

The young ladies that make up the wait staff are wonderful and very attentive. Ashley, Brooklyn and Amber really enjoy taking care of their patrons. The food is flavorful and the portions/presentation is great. We usually come early in the evening and catch happy hour :) The restaurant is very neat and clean always. Sometimes they have live music and you can still visit and have a conversation- which I really enjoy. If you tried Luca early on and did not enjoy it- come back and try it again. One word of caution- don't expect authentic Italian food- it is a more Americanized version - it is still very good however and you will not leave hungry. Come try it!

View from their dock that allows boat access to the restaurant.

This place gave our party of 7 a great night out. We were surprised to learn you could arrive by boat via their own dock right next to their parking lot, which is what we did. Upon arriving you notice an impressive property and a welcoming entrance. The service and hospitality was impeccable. The chef /owner Gabriel even took the time to check on our service and food and also recommended some interesting and very good dishes. For apps we had the stuffed mushrooms, calamari, chicken wings and focaccia. It was all superb! For mains we all had different dishes, but my favorite was the bistecca (12 oz ribeye) and perfectly prepared fries. The desserts were on point too. The taramassu, almond cake and key lime pie were all amazing! Highly recommended!

New menu!

A very good Italian/American restaurant, the ambience is quite upscale for casual dinning. The menu has a variety of foodstuffs, pizzas, burgers, steaks, and many pasta choices. The service is polite, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The pricing is all over the board, from cheap to moderate.

Medium rare

Usually great food and service. Tonight, my med rare steak came out med/med well. I didn't eat it, and told them that I didn't want any to wait on a replacement. She understood and showed me where she wrote it down correctly. Server said Mgr wouldn't remove it and would only give a quarter off on the steak. :( They started at open so strong, but have fallen down the ranks way too quickly. :(

The gluten-free pasta and gluten-free meatballs were amazing

Don't order the shrimp scampi. It's a big bowl of noodles in water with about 6 pieces of unseasoned shrimp.

There I was, hungry, chunky, tired from white water rafting. I walk into this lovely establishment,…read moregreeted by a man with a fantastic accent and a dining room with impeccable taste. This place brought me so much happiness and joy. I got the salmon Alfredo as a test of sorts. I'm picky, VERY picky when it comes to pasta, even worse with sauces. I taste the avocado salad first. One singular tear of pure joy falls from my eye. The chicken was fried perfectly. The food didn't stand a chance against my appetite. I didn't even get to get a photo of my meal before I was violently destroying my plates (with love.) My sweet tea was perfect. Not sugar water, not overly sweet nor under sweetened. I didn't even need to ask for a refill, they just offered right when k was low. Then I tasted the salmon Alfredo. You know those scenes in ratatouille? When remy tastes the cheese and the strawberry together? Then when the food critic had the ratatouille? That's exactly what happened. It was as if the chef and waiters were ethereal beings sent from heaven solely to give my meager human taste buds a chance of experiencing pure bliss. It was gorgeous. I will be back if only to experience the beauty of such blessed Italian food. Other restaurants wish they can be like Mariolino's, I guarantee you, that other restaurants fall short.

Ambiance here is mixed as the lighting and staff dress looks upscale but it's really more casual. Come as you are is what I'm saying. Basically if you're craving Italian and don't want to drive far from Andrews this is your best option.

We were really excited to try Giardino's, but unfortunately left feeling pretty underwhelmed…read more Overall, the experience was just average, with a few hits and misses. We started with the bruschetta, which was probably my favorite thing of the night! It came with a generous amount of tomatoes, a burrata mixture, fresh basil, and balsamic. Definitely a great way to start the meal. For entrees, we tried a few different dishes: Chicken Parmesan with Pappardelle and Alfredo: This was easily the most disappointing dish of the night. The chicken was incredibly bland and barely had any flavor. The pappardelle itself was nice, but the Alfredo tasted more like a very garlic-forward cream sauce. I really couldn't taste any cheese in it at all. Lasagna: Probably our favorite entree! Unfortunately, the first portion came out cold. We let our server know, and they were very kind about it and quickly brought us a hot portion. Once we got that sorted out, it was a good lasagna! Penne Toscana: This had a lot more flavor than the chicken Parmesan and came out piping hot, which was appreciated. The sauce was very herb-forward, which I actually enjoyed, but it definitely depends on your preference for herb-heavy sauces. My biggest complaint was that the dish seemed to have more artichokes than anything else. On the positive side, the service was good throughout our visit. Our drinks were consistently refilled, and the staff was friendly and accommodating when we mentioned the cold lasagna. We also really enjoyed sitting on the patio. It's a lovely outdoor space and definitely one of the highlights of the restaurant. One thing worth mentioning is parking! We arrived right at 5 PM when they opened, but by the time we left, the parking lot was completely full, and people were parking in an overflow area. I'd definitely recommend making a reservation or arriving early. Overall, Giardino's wasn't bad, but it didn't quite live up to our expectations. There were a couple of dishes we enjoyed, and the service and patio were great, but the food was too inconsistent for us to walk away impressed.
