During my 4 week stay in Rome, I actually dined here 3 times and tried to dine here about 6 times…read more This place is not your typical Resto since it is joint with a karate studio owned by the owner who practices that during the day and makes fabulous ramen at night. He will buzz you in. The BEST is the pork based soup kimchi ramen (donkut?). The soup is just like the one I had in Japan and the "best" places in NYC and Toronto. Maurizio the owner is super nice and his gorgeous wife is also there on weekends and is just a sweetheart. Most of all, delicious app, the best ramen and good desserts. No sake though, only Japanese beer. Overall, if you like ramen, CALL and make a reso. The neighborhood isn't the best so don't go without a reso and be rejected since the place is tiny!

I was curious as to what the local ramen would be like, so when I found this small restaurant run out of a dojo by a guy who had studied in Japan, I wanted to go! I went with a group of three people and we split an order of the classic gyoza and takoyaki to start. The gyoza was very interesting, almost like a seared ravioli, and not as traditional of a gyoza as I am used to. The takoyaki was very delicious, with the fresh seafood in the middle mingling very well with the freshly prepared batter and the toppings. I got a bowl of miso butter, and my friends tried the tan-tan men and curry ramen. I'd probably say that the broths across the board were relatively saltier than I'd like. The noodles the first time around were a tad overcooked, but the kae-dama was cooked al dente. It's funny, because I'd almost forgotten how non Sun Noodle ramen noodles tasted! I chatted with the chefs about my ramen adventures in the US, as well as my own attempts at cooking some tonkotsu, and it was overall a great experience. If you have a craving for some ramen and you're in Rome, this is the place to go.

This is our favorite place to eat in Rome so far and we have been here for 10 days!…read more Sushi rolls and sashimi are delicious!! The unagi (eel) is cooked soft but with a crisp to the outside and not fishy tasting at all. If you order hot tea they will refill your cup they do not have a tea kettle. To sit down at a table it's about $2 euros per person. Our server Melissa was very kind and friendly. She spoke Italian and her English was also great! Our experience here was what I was hoping to experience everywhere but with a big city like Rome, you'll get a mixed bag. Tuna Sashimi was cut really thick and had a deep color to it. The unagi roll was tasty, best cooked eel I've had ever and I've tried a lot of unagi in my day. ***The udon dish had shrimp and other seafood and was the winning dish at our table!! It's not soup. This dish is served like stir fry style. Delicious! The tonkatsu ramen comes in a smaller portion, with half an egg, one pc dried seaweed, and one pc of chashu pork. (I ordered 2 bowls and I finished both of them very quickly) - side note I'm only 5ft tall at 130lbs and 2bowls here is the size of 1 bowl in America. I could've used a little more flavor in the broth and the egg was a little over cooked on this dish. But still great compared to a lot of the other food we have tried in this area. Will definitely be back!! (Every single time we're in Rome!)

We enjoying the food, and it was a good service too. The beef wagyu was really tender, and…read moretasteful. The Ramen was beautiful, the broth was absolute delicious.
