Stopped in here after a day out west. We just wanted a quick drink and a bite to eat. The bar maid was very nice when we walked in, as were the patrons. The inside could use a good cleaning. I live near Risko's and it holds a special place in my heart. It's a classic, small hometown dive bar vibe, with quick service and well priced drinks. The location is right on the lake, with a good back patio view that I'd highly recommend in the summers. Staff has always been super friendly. My only issue with this establishment, and the reason it's not a 5/5, is that the bar is cash only. There's an on-location atm, but you cannot start a tab. Small issue overall, if I could I'd give Risko's an 4.75/5! read more

I go to the speedway periodically in this area and I always thought I'd never go in here because it look like a shack and wasn't my style. Much to my surprise, this was a really nice place. I went here with a group recently, and we sat out on the patio for awhile until it became a bit chilly and the smoke smell got to us from the other people there. We ordered and ate the food inside, which was delicious! I had a cheeseburger and fries, and got the Malibu cocktail drink in a can, which was also prettayyy, prettayyy, pretty good. There was only one worker that night, but she managed to do a great job with everything. I'll have to come back again sometime. read more

Placed an order today for wings and onions I got a dozen wings 10 flats I ask for all drums and the onion rings was entirely to soggy . When I called to return the food I was told they can not replace my onion rings blamed the container for the soggyness I was a loyal customer of the same consistent order for over a year now and this is the first time I had a complaint. I should never have to pay for the same order again . I was told I would have to buy it again . It saddens me I have to find another place to order takeout . So I like this bar because of its unique mini bowling machine. You need quarters for the machine and I think it's only $.25 per person to play. The bar also has a back patio area, which apparently has a lake view but I've only been there in the dark. This is a cash only bar - no credit cards accepted. It's a neighborhood dive bar - no frills. I think they have food occasionally too but it's all fried. For the area, there's not a lot of choices for a drink and besides the VFW, this is probably your best option in Sheffield Lake. read more

This place is great! Stopped up on a Thursday evening with my plumber after he finished work on my rental. Watched a Thursday night game (Packers beat the Lions with a Rodgers TD as time expired) and had some drinks and eats. The food hit the spot... Better then expected. The burger was similar to what Dave & Busters offers, but the veggies were farmer market fresh! Wing dings were crispy, juicy, and went done easy! Small clientele at the bar, seemed like regulars. Mary is great and definitely welcoming. Definitely with a quick stop for a cold drink and quick meal. read more

I come to Riskos every Thursday after work around 4-5:00pm, the Long Islands are the best ( but I bring my own oranges, I know, I'm weird). Great view and place to relax on the patio with unobstructed views of the lake, a hole in the wall with a million dollar view. My lady friend Lilly meets me on the patio for some Long Islands and the epic taco specials before she has to leave for work. Honestly, it's a special place, and if you are able to roll through with someone that's keeps you great company, you can't go wrong. Check it out, because I'm now a regular. THANKS LILLY read more

Just like a lot of bars by the lake, it's kinda small. Big plus is the lake view while having you drink.

The decor is outdated and dingy. The bartender is nice enough, but the menu is very limited (not that the tiny kitchen seems all that sanitary to begin with) the drinks are short, overpriced and the bar is cash only. Boo read more

Great little bar with great food. Relaxing patio that over looks the like is very enjoyable on summer night.

This bar is a dive. It is not clean, take a look inside the kitchen. The barmaids are rude and only attends to their favorites. If you're not a favorite you'll have to wait until she's done talking to her friends before you will get served. They will serve you until you can no longer stand and are a danger to drive on the road. But they get your money and that's all they care about. If you go out after being overserved at Riskos and kill yourself or kill someone else they don't care they've got your money. Also be careful and don't leave your money on the bar. It tends to disappear. read more
