I wanted him to check the place out, since it was Lorain's newer bar amd he never been there before. This was my third visit there. So I was a repeat customer. Everything was going fine, I was drinking a beer, and Hiram a rum and coke. Hiram noticed the Vote for Bradley signs hanging above the bar, as well as other political jargon. So him and I briefly talked about the place probably leans left, and continued to drink. It was shortly after that, is when the bartender named Jack came over and started chatting. I asked him why are all the political crap was hanging which as a business may offend those who vote opposite. And he said he doesn't care about those who vote opposite and that those people (obviously Trump supporters) weren't welcomed there. I continued to drink my beer, and decided to rowl this dude up. I told him that maybe I was offended. He then kinda got into a rage, and started ranting about conservatives, hating Trump supporters, and as he is raising his voice, spit started coming out his mouth. Since he is talking directly at me, I got hit in the face with his spit. I told the dude he better calm down, because noe he is leaning towards me, and that I'm not really the guy that deals with people, their bullshit, and that I came there just to drink a beer, and let Hiram experience the place. Jack them continued to ramp up his distaste of me being sitted at his bar, and Hiram grabbed my arm, told me to down my beer, and let's jet. So I downed my beer, and we left. I don't even remember if I paid or not. Beats me. The experience of being attacked for a question was absurd to me. I left this experience posted here in our group back when it happened and on their facebook, and the owner's Kurt and Paige never reached out, and never apologized for my and my handicapped buddy's sour experience. So me being the guy who never forgets when someone slights me, and recently signing up for Yelp, I decided to once again continue with leaving them a review on that particular review platform, over that outrageous experience. The customer service was horrible, marked by rudeness and a clear lack of understanding of the Golden Rule--treating others with the respect and courtesy one would reasonably expect to receive.
