Affordable and gets the job done! I usually come here during weekdays between noon and 1pm and have Jina or Sarah do my brows. I don't think I've ever seen more than one or two ladies threading during those times and it can be really busy around noon time. I usually go to the one in Monrovia but this location is closer to work so I come here sometimes as well. I've had Jina do my brows several times and while she's good, she's a little bit slower than I'm used to from the ladies in Monrovia. I like that she doesn't rush it though! Only thing is I wish is that they press harder during the aloe Vera temple massage that they offer at end. It feels kind of strange very lightly applied. read more

There are not too many threading places in the area so opening this business is a smart move. I walked in and Lucy greeted me and set me up on the digital system where I entered my phone number to keep track the number of my visits. Lucy was so meticulous when working on my eyebrows. I've come enough times that I think I can make a review. They are nice and usually it is the same girl that is there- sometimes she is the only one there so the wait can be long. The reason why I give it 3 stars is that it is not bad and not good. It is basically a meh, shoulder shrug. I am still looking for another place. The young skinny girl that is always there is kind of harsh with the threading. Like it hurts a lot. One time she also cut my lid and it stung when she did that aloe massage. I always come here and think they do a good job! Hygiene is important to me so I appreciate that they sanitize their hands each time before they start. They also give you aloe at the end! There's no reservations here so some days you'll wait longer than others. I've noticed that the wait on weekdays are around 10 minutes. Fridays and weekends can take around half an hour. read more

I stumbled upon this little gem today and let me tell you I was beyond glad I did. The wait wasn't long, the place was nice and clean. Upon checking in they call you up and take your temperature. I had my brows done by the lady with green eyes I want to say her name is Sarah, correct me if I'm wrong, and let me tell you I am in love with her work. The prices here are great! Eyebrow threading is $5 after you check in for the $1 discount on Yelp. I was on the fence about going back since Sarita (first person to ever thread my brows!) is no longer here but I had good experiences with Jina and another lady who's name I forgot but starts with an "S". I don't like the way they use their system because if you request a certain person instead of "next available", they don't really honor it and try to push whoever is available on you! I've gone here many times before to get my brows done. Unfortunately I just went (Oct 2021) and it was one of my worst eyebrow threading experiences EVER. I didn't get the lady's name but I'm fairly sure she is new to the shop; she is so inexperienced, my brow area was so swollen and now they're uneven. I wish this was a joke but it's not and I'm at a loss ok what happened. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you want potentially misshapen brows. read more

Hands down the best threading place in Temple City! I always get my eyebrows done by Jina but the other lady is just as good! I will not be coming back to this location. In my experience I waiting 40 minutes, while waiting i asked to use the restroom and the worker told me they don't offer a public restroom for paying customers. As a pregnant woman it is difficult for me to find somewhere else to use the public restroom. But Before I left to find a restroom I asked how long is the wait, she told me," 15 more minutes." But I was next customer. When I came back from finding the restroom she had moved on to the next person and skipped me. I want even gone for 5 min. I ran to find use a restroom. The worker was rude! Updating my review because of the person who threaded and waxed me. Never ask for Kelley. She threaded my eyebrows so painfully and messed it up. I knew she messed up because she made a sound and re did that spot. When I get my eyebrows threaded, it never hurts that bad. Waxing; she did my armpits first and I thought it would go well but nope. I don't know what she did but one the first pull, it was like my entire armpit was going to come off! She was able to do it after cleaning up that one side for 5 minutes and even then there were lots of hairs she didn't get. She did the other side better but the worst part was when she was threading the hairs. It was awful. I usually get done by Sarita or Sarah and it never hurts but when Kelley was going at it, I couldn't. It was awful. My armpits are still kind of bleeding from it! She didn't show me my eyebrows once she finished and when I asked for the mirror, I was just upset. I didn't want her to fix it because the pain would be too much and I didn't want it to get any worse. Stick with Sarita or Sarah, they're amazing. I'm sad I wasn't able to get threaded/waxed by them today but just stay away from Kelley unless you want to look like a painful, hot mess. read more

Eyebrow threading all the way! Great place to trim and shape eyebrows. For over a year I've been serviced by Sarita, who's very attentive and helpful with my sensitive skin. She even remembers to start on the side that is a bit more difficult to thread. Today, Sarah helped me and provided friendly attentive service as well. This is my first time to try eyebrow threading and the results is great. I love their aloe gel massage. It's just 30 secs quick massage my eyebrows and forehead but feel relieved every time! My boyfriend and I went to get our eyebrows done for the first time since the pandemic started now that we are vaccinated and when we got there there was a sign that said no more than 2 customers at a time. There was already someone in the chair so we decided to wait outside after checking in. After waiting for about 5 minutes another lady walked inside and waited inside. We didn't think anything of it because it was just her so we continued to wait outside. After the girl in the chair was done she took the lady that came after us. I went inside to ask why she was taken before us and she said it was my fault because she called me and I didn't hear her. She had my phone number so I thought she would call me. I liked the way they did my eyebrows here, however they only have 1 person ther and it can be a wait of 20 to 40mnts. Also it was my first time there and i couldnt understand how to become a member so the girl gave me a card that they stamp every visit, so i told her to stamp it and she said no because i was not a member. I have been coming here for about a year now. I absolutely love this place because they always thread my eyebrows on fleek. I have had several threaders and I think they are all amazing. My favorite is Sarita, she does a great job and always asks if I am doing okay. The fact that they have the yelp discount is beyond me. The prices are already extremely cheap. After finishing threading my brows, they apply this aloe gel above the eyebrow area and you have to try it if you haven't already. I decided to come here after accompanying my sister here awhile back & its just a few blocks away from home. Sarita was very nice & helpful. While doing my brows she informed me she left some hair in certain places so that when they grow out my brows can look more fuller, no eyebrow place has ever given that kind of recommendation. I love this threading studio. Definitely one of the best in the San Gabriel Valley. I am so picky when it comes to letting someone thread my eyebrows. I have super sensitive skin. I always trust Sarita. She takes her time and gently pulls the thread to leave you with flawless and fierce eyebrows. Going to Rising Threading is a game changer for me. I no longer have to deal with the attitude or rushed and overpriced services offered at Kaya or Ziba Threading studios. (I've dealt with one too many cuts on my skin).
