It's been a long time since I have threaded my eyebrows. Quality is still top-notch.

Affordable and gets the job done! I usually come here during weekdays between noon and 1pm and have Jina or Sarah do my brows. I don't think I've ever seen more than one or two ladies threading during those times and it can be really busy around noon time. I usually go to the one in Monrovia but this location is closer to work so I come here sometimes as well. I've had Jina do my brows several times and while she's good, she's a little bit slower than I'm used to from the ladies in Monrovia. I like that she doesn't rush it though! Only thing is I wish is that they press harder during the aloe Vera temple massage that they offer at end. It feels kind of strange very lightly applied. read more

My first time there was great. Jina is sooooooo gentle. I highly recommend the place.

This is my usual place to get my brows. I love the work but the workers are so rude. I'm so patient I've never said anything but today while getting my brows done a non English speaking customer came in and I was completely disappointed at how she was treated. The worker literally ignored her and when she finally answered it was cause she answered do you need service. I replied to the customer how to proceed and how to go about and the worker still stayed in her chair not even helping the customer. Worst customer service ever if you don't wanna work and you your can barely speak English at least try. Never returning. read more

I was recommended by one of my friends to come here instead of the place I've been going to for a few years. So it looks like I found my new eyebrow lady! Thank you so much Jina for being so meticulous. I couldn't stop looking at how nice my brows looked. I love my brows!! Seriously, go look for Jina because SHE LISTENS!!! We stan a queen. Eyebrow price is $7. Definitely look for the coupon. I gave Jina a fat tip because she deserves it. read more

My first time going here and it was an amazing experience. Was in and out in an efficient time and I loved how you can check-in easily on the kiosk. The price for just eyebrows at $9 is hard to beat. I highly recommend this place to anyone that need their eyebrows done! read more

I always come here and think they do a good job! Hygiene is important to me so I appreciate that they sanitize their hands each time before they start. They also give you aloe at the end! There's no reservations here so some days you'll wait longer than others. I've noticed that the wait on weekdays are around 10 minutes. Fridays and weekends can take around half an hour. read more

My favorite threader is Sarah! I always tell her to help me make my brows more even because my brows grow funny/uneven... and she always gives me a perfect shape! I've also have had it done by the younger lady, who's name starts with an I. She's alright too! But definitely thinner than Sarah's. read more

This is my favorite place to get threaded. Glad I don't have to go far to find an affordable spot. You'll be seen quickly and they have the same extensive menu you'll find at any other threading salon. read more

I stumbled upon this little gem today and let me tell you I was beyond glad I did. The wait wasn't long, the place was nice and clean. Upon checking in they call you up and take your temperature. I had my brows done by the lady with green eyes I want to say her name is Sarah, correct me if I'm wrong, and let me tell you I am in love with her work. The shape the trim everything about my brows exceeded my expectations I even told her I wasn't a local but I would definitely be coming back. I totally recommend this place. read more

The prices here are great! Eyebrow threading is $5 after you check in for the $1 discount on Yelp. I was on the fence about going back since Sarita (first person to ever thread my brows!) is no longer here but I had good experiences with Jina and another lady who's name I forgot but starts with an "S". I don't like the way they use their system because if you request a certain person instead of "next available", they don't really honor it and try to push whoever is available on you! I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes and I always go on weekends. read more

I've come enough times that I think I can make a review. They are nice and usually it is the same girl that is there- sometimes she is the only one there so the wait can be long. The reason why I give it 3 stars is that it is not bad and not good. It is basically a meh, shoulder shrug. I am still looking for another place. The young skinny girl that is always there is kind of harsh with the threading. Like it hurts a lot. One time she also cut my lid and it stung when she did that aloe massage. But regardless if there is a line waiting, it always hurts! read more

I've gone here many times before to get my brows done. Unfortunately I just went (Oct 2021) and it was one of my worst eyebrow threading experiences EVER. I didn't get the lady's name but I'm fairly sure she is new to the shop; she is so inexperienced, my brow area was so swollen and now they're uneven. I wish this was a joke but it's not and I'm at a loss ok what happened. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you want potentially misshapen brows. read more

I love how Jina threads eyebrows. She takes her time and never rushes. My eyebrows always come out on point. Will keep coming here.

Respectful, safe, and outstanding customer service! I love the way my eyebrow was shaped. I will be making future visits!

Hands down the best threading place in Temple City! I always get my eyebrows done by Jina but the other lady is just as good! I love how Jina takes her time, always trims if needed & always gets my shape just right. The aloe Vera is also a nice soothing touch! They go above & beyond, really good customer service & can't beat the prices! The space is always clean & now after all this COVID stuff they're cautious & sanitize very well. All in all I definitely recommend! You won't be disappointed! (: read more

I will not be coming back to this location. In my experience I waiting 40 minutes, while waiting i asked to use the restroom and the worker told me they don't offer a public restroom for paying customers. As a pregnant woman it is difficult for me to find somewhere else to use the public restroom. But Before I left to find a restroom I asked how long is the wait, she told me," 15 more minutes." But I was next customer. When I came back from finding the restroom she had moved on to the next person and skipped me. I want even gone for 5 min. I ran to find use a restroom. The worker was rude! I left without service! read more

The service today was terrible the lady had the audacity to take her 10 minute break with a room full of clients, unprofessionalsim at its finest. read more

Updating my review because of the person who threaded and waxed me. Never ask for Kelley. She threaded my eyebrows so painfully and messed it up. I knew she messed up because she made a sound and re did that spot. When I get my eyebrows threaded, it never hurts that bad. Waxing; she did my armpits first and I thought it would go well but nope. I don't know what she did but one the first pull, it was like my entire armpit was going to come off! She was able to do it after cleaning up that one side for 5 minutes and even then there were lots of hairs she didn't get. She did the other side better but the worst part was when she was threading the hairs. It was awful. I usually get done by Sarita or Sarah and it never hurts but when Kelley was going at it, I couldn't. It was awful. My armpits are still kind of bleeding from it! She didn't show me my eyebrows once she finished and when I asked for the mirror, I was just upset. I didn't want her to fix it because the pain would be too much and I didn't want it to get any worse. Stick with Sarita or Sarah, they're amazing. I'm sad I wasn't able to get threaded/waxed by them today but just stay away from Kelley unless you want to look like a painful, hot mess. read more

Eyebrow threading all the way! Great place to trim and shape eyebrows. For over a year I've been serviced by Sarita, who's very attentive and helpful with my sensitive skin. She even remembers to start on the side that is a bit more difficult to thread. Today, Sarah helped me and provided friendly attentive service as well. Shaping eyebrows go a long way when I wear hardly any makeup. Definitely recommend this location. Other services include threading other parts of the face and waxing too! read more

I still feel the same way now as when I first wrote my review. Jina is great and it's so cheap! $6 eyebrows... What?!

This is my first time to try eyebrow threading and the results is great. I love their aloe gel massage. It's just 30 secs quick massage my eyebrows and forehead but feel relieved every time! My office just nearby this place, I usually come here on my lunch break, the lady is professional and done my eyebrow very fast. Highly recommended!! read more

I always come here to get my brows done and I never leave with any problems on how my brows look. Sarita is the best and the other workers here are all talented. My brows aren't all that, but in today's society if you don't have good brows you're really not important HAHAA and coming here to get my brows done makes me feel super confident and poppin'. This place is super fast and is definitely worth any wait. If you're ever considering this place? Don't hesitate. Me and all my friends/ family come here to do our brows and never leave unsatisfied. The talent of work for only $6 is unbeatable. I always leave a tip because the work done here deserves way more recognition than any other place I know or see. I know this might be a cheesy review and I can't exaggerate it enough but I really love coming here to do my brows and will continue coming. read more

I was beyond skeptical to get my eyebrows done by anyone else than my regular go to girl. I'm staying home for the holidays and needed my brows done badly. The last time I got my eyebrows threaded, it was done way too thin (even after requesting them to be thick) and I was heartbroken. I aim for full and natural looking eyebrows. I came here, no wait, and she did a wonderful job!!! I was blown away with how perfect they came out. read more

Rising Threading - This picture does no justice. My brows are full and happy. - Waxing Near Me - Temple City, California

My boyfriend and I went to get our eyebrows done for the first time since the pandemic started now that we are vaccinated and when we got there there was a sign that said no more than 2 customers at a time. There was already someone in the chair so we decided to wait outside after checking in. After waiting for about 5 minutes another lady walked inside and waited inside. We didn't think anything of it because it was just her so we continued to wait outside. After the girl in the chair was done she took the lady that came after us. I went inside to ask why she was taken before us and she said it was my fault because she called me and I didn't hear her. She had my phone number so I thought she would call me. She was very rude to me so my boyfriend and I left. I used to go here all the time and am very disappointed. read more

Wonderful experience! This is the best my brows have looked and I've gone to multiple places in the SFV and SGV. The lady who did my brows took extra time and consideration and was gentle and kind. Only $8, too! Thank you so much!! read more

Sarita was very friendly and efficient in cleaning up my eyebrows. Unlike some places, it was clear that Sarita was listening to how I wanted my brows to look so, even though it was my first time there, I had no worries whatsoever about her handling my brows. At the end, she even messaged the aloe vera onto my brows, which is quite soothing. I would definitely recommend her and this place if you're looking to get your eyebrows threaded. read more

I liked the way they did my eyebrows here, however they only have 1 person ther and it can be a wait of 20 to 40mnts. Also it was my first time there and i couldnt understand how to become a member so the girl gave me a card that they stamp every visit, so i told her to stamp it and she said no because i was not a member. So i asked how do i become one and she said i must enter my phone number. She was not being helpful on how to join but anyway. read more

I've actually been back because my friends recommended me to someone else and I was really doubtful at first. As most veterans of this location, everyone knew how good Sarita was before she moved. I wanted to see how good the new recommendation is and I've been serviced by her several times now for me to be able to update my review truthfully. Ask for Jina. She is amazing and my friends did not lie one bit. Trust me, Jina's got you like how Sarita got you :) read more

I love this threading studio. Definitely one of the best in the San Gabriel Valley. I am so picky when it comes to letting someone thread my eyebrows. I have super sensitive skin. I always trust Sarita. She takes her time and gently pulls the thread to leave you with flawless and fierce eyebrows. Going to Rising Threading is a game changer for me. I no longer have to deal with the attitude or rushed and overpriced services offered at Kaya or Ziba Threading studios. (I've dealt with one too many cuts on my skin). One last thing: I love the complimentary massage with aloe vera to heal the skin. Most threading places don't do that. I am definitely a regular at this studio! Thanks Sarita. read more

Probably my new favorite threading spot! Can't go wrong for $6. friendly staff and clean store. HIGHLY recommend to come here!! read more

Quick in and out eyebrow threading service. Was this the best experience ever? Nope but it was satisfactory. The Yelp check-in resulted in a $1 discount. I am not a fan of the check-in system. The tablet doesn't work well and the touch screen was subpar. It seems like they're using technology for the sake of technology. I'm going back to Kaya next time. read more

Just stop by and you will get the service you want it. Always pack but it's worth it. I m like going to this place. Only place I go for my eyebrows. read more

I have been coming here for about a year now. I absolutely love this place because they always thread my eyebrows on fleek. I have had several threaders and I think they are all amazing. My favorite is Sarita, she does a great job and always asks if I am doing okay. The fact that they have the yelp discount is beyond me. The prices are already extremely cheap. After finishing threading my brows, they apply this aloe gel above the eyebrow area and you have to try it if you haven't already. Its one of the best feelings in the world because my brow area is very sensitive. read more

Have to say that I had such a great experience with Jina! She listened to what I wanted and she was so pleasant as well. She's very gentle and gave me exactly what I wanted! I used to go to the Monrovia location but had a bad experience there and read about Jina at the Temple City location and decided to go and I'm so happy that I did! read more

My new go-to eyebrow threading place! They charge 6$ and service is GREAT! Look for Sarita if you want your eyebrows to look perfect! She is great and really nice! Went in 10mins before closing and she happily did my eyebrows. She also placed aloe vera gel to help soothe my sensitive skin ;) Don't forget to check in to get $1 off :) read more

Sarita is great! I knew I could trust this woman because her own eyebrows were beautifully kept. I got my whole face threaded. Sarita was patient and removed all the fine hair on my face, and I left the shop glowing afterward! The store is very clean, and she really took her time to provide thorough service. I did my whole face and it was only $25! My face feels so soft! Threading does leave you a little sensitive, but I think it is worth it. It helps my skin absorb my skincare products much better, and also makes my face look a lot brighter and cleaner!! Cannot recommend Sarita enough. My eyebrows look great too !! She even offered to put witch hazel toner on my face afterward to help my skin calm down. I was wearing makeup so I passed up the offer. I came here with a friend, and she got her eyebrows done. She told me the next day she got a small pimple where she was threaded. I told her this was normal. This has happened to me many times before when I got threaded (luckily not this time). I think something about pulling the hair out from the face causes minor irritation. These kinda of blemishes usually do not last long and will leave in a few days if left alone. It's just like how sometimes after you get waxed, a little bump might appear. Highly recommend you try threading if you have not already! read more

I decided to come here after accompanying my sister here awhile back & its just a few blocks away from home. Sarita was very nice & helpful. While doing my brows she informed me she left some hair in certain places so that when they grow out my brows can look more fuller, no eyebrow place has ever given that kind of recommendation. I also like that she used Aloe Vera gel after doing my eyebrows rather than sanitizer/alcohol & massaged my brow area for a minute, it felt nice & relaxing. This is my go to eyebrow spot from here on out :) read more

Rising Threading - It's located in the shopping center next to Kmart on Rosemead & Las Tunas - Waxing Near Me - Temple City, California

My daughter loves coming here to get her eyebrows threaded. They're very accommodating and lovely to be around. It's clean and my daughters eyebrows come out perfect each time! Thank you! read more

I have been to Rising Threading twice with different employees. The quality of the threading is excellent, though they never asked me how thick or thin I wanted my eyebrows. Pricing is very competitive. Check-in is stress free because you don't have to remember who is in front of you. There is a kiosk where you can enter your phone number upon arrival. This would have been a five star review except for the most recent experience I had. I checked-in Yelp upon arrival and after 25 minutes of waiting, had clicked on the pop up coupon by mistake. I wasn't able to check in again, but the alert indicated that I had already checked-in (and therefore, couldn't check-in again within 4 hours). Sumarita would not apply $1 coupon towards the service because the pop up coupon had disappeared, even though it was clear that I had checked-in. There is no code to scan in --- so as far as I know, there wasn't anything preventing the $1 discount to be applied. Understandably $1 is no big deal overall, but I am annoyed by the inflexibility in customer service. read more
