Great coffee and a great cause. This was a cozy environment with friendly staff. Lots of work space and an area for children.

Wowww wow wow! I…read morewasnt sure what to expect when my friend suggested this place but I was thoroughly and pleasantly surprised. The "Detroit style" pizza really reminds me more of focaccia bread. It is SO fluffy and delightful. Unpopular opinion here but I typically don't consider pizza to be a "meal." It's something you eat when you don't have it in you to cook, and even if you get it in Chicago it's like...a last ditch effort at feeding yourself. BUT this feels like a meal. Like a treat. Like a schmancy lil indulgence you deserve. My friend is gluten free and I never in a million years would guess this is gluten free. I almost hope they didn't mistakenly put it on regular dough, for my friends sake. But if this is legitimately gluten free, I would gladly get it again even if I wasn't with a gluten intolerant friend. The artichoke pieces are massive, tender and tangy. The sausage is a bit strange, ground sausage instead of little lumps. And the mushrooms really top the "artesenal" feel. There's a cute little market with interesting delicacies and they have an incredibly diverse assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. The clerk did an amazing job of describing many of the options, took a lot of time making sure we knew what we were looking at. Definitely a connoisseur. Fabulous. A little pricey but, again, this is an indulgence. A meal. A quaint opportunity to relax and engulf yourself in fluffy, delectable fare that feels authentic and real. Not just ingredients tossed on a piece of dough for convenience sake. I look for to my next visit here!

This place is a real gem! I was shocked to find somewhere this good in small-town Michigan. I made…read moremy parents come here from Indiana and we're so glad we did. They've got a great selection of pizzas in several styles. We tried both the thin-crust Roman style and the thicker al taglio. Both were good but the al taglio was fantastic! The crust was the best part, for sure. We got vegan pizzas (with really good vegan cheese!), but they've got a ton of dairy/meat options as well. It's nice to go somewhere that can serve everyone! There's also a really good little market of Italian products and wines, so you can do a little shopping too while you're here. I didn't have a sandwich but they've looked really good too. There's a nice dog-friendly outdoor patio as well for warm days. Emma Hearth and Market is a must-visit if you're in the area and worth a drive too!

Out of all the Mcdonald's that I've been from my entire life, this one is the worst one that I've…read morebeen to. But not because the foods (their food was delicious), nor because the drinks (their drinks are good, and it has a fountain for you to refill it), it's because the employees; particularly the cashiers. One day, me and my family & friends were on a road trip, then we decided to went there and order lunch. I try to order it from the counter since I have a lot of cash. While they order it from the kiosk due to be faster. When they finish ordering, I still haven't order mine yet, because the cashiers are busy by taking care the drive-thru. What's even worse is by the time my family & friends got their stuff, there was still nobody take care of my order. Except the cashiers just walk by the counter back & forth and just glance at me. Not even telling me to please hold up, wait a minute, nor even greets me, etc.. And because of this, I decided to switch up and use the kiosk to order my food, (while my group were half way done, and heck; some of them were almost finish eating). Don't get me wrong, I understand that employees from fast food chains, doesn't need to work like they're inside a restaurant. However, I still don't expect employees were working like that. Despite Mcdonald's are fast food chain, they still have to do better like others, and NOT like how this particular one is working right now.

There was a line of cars behind me and 1 pulled forward waiting so I asked how lomg so I didn't hold the line up. The gal at the window was very friendly and said it was not a problem. Meanwhile the other 3 employees one of which was the manager were giving me dirty looks and looked like they were being bothered. Thw guy who was going to change the mix came out and after he was asked how long it would take he got an attitude and walked away. So the young lady came and apologized again to me and said she was just going to refund me since he walked away. She turned to go get my refund and another employee was already walking back with my $8.88 with attitude. If I wanted to go a step further I had rounded up so they technically owed me $9. Very very very unprofessional, rude, attitudes and just overall horrible. I was a paying customer who was sitting there waiting and all they wanted to do is be extremely rude. I am a manager in retail and if I saw one of my employees, let alone 3 act and treat a customer the way they did then they wouldn't have a job. Pretty bad when one of these employees was actually the manager on duty.
