Locally sourced and female owned are two of my favorite things. Farmette does it all, and in such a gorgeous way. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I can't comment on that, but all of the other goods (veggies, wines, cook books and locally sourced snacks) were so so good. I love seeing how this business works with some of my other favorites in both the Traverse City and metro Detroit areas. I love that this exists so close to home. Can't wait to come back!

Cute cafe and shop! Loved exploring the natural wine wall and all the other offerings the shop had, and they many unique types of sourdough bread from the bakery. The croissant tasted a tad stale though. Would go back when it's warm out for their patio/garden

We loved Farmette--the Carmel latte was fantastic, and the space feels thoughtfully designed both inside and outside. We also picked up a bottle wine that I can't wait to try with dinner one night. Excellent coffee, great atmosphere, five stars! Visiting from Cattleman's Coffee & Sand Hill Farms

Really cute cafe! It was extremely busy! The drink pick up area was kind of chaotic. It seems like it would've been easier if they took people's names. Since they have a smallish menu, it was hard to figure out whose was whose. I tried the iced strawberry and cream latte and it was delicious! Perfectly subtle strawberry flavor. The cream kind of dissolved but that okay. My husband got the salted honey latte hot and it was really good!

This is a nice little store and cafe. Good tiramisu and hummus. I also got a decaf latte and a hot chocolate (could use a little sugar.) It is expensive, as expected, but there is a good variety of products.

Probably one of the cutest cafes ever! Lots of flowers, fancy snacks, and fresh baked goods! The chocolate sourdough and blueberry muffin were delicious! I also tried the chai latte which was yummy as well! All the staff were very kind and helpful!

Fruit sold at Farmette. Yummy local strawberries.

Cute! Worth a visit if you are stopping in New Buffalo. The bakery was sold out of most things before we got there. It was a lot smaller than expected, but still a fun stop!

This was our first stop from Indianapolis on our way to the beach and this place alone was worth the 2.5 hour drive! The focaccia bread is the best I've ever had. Ever. Beautiful, relaxing, clean, inviting and wonderful service.

What a joy it was to see Katie's vision come to life: part farm, part bakery, part cafe with a sweet little marketplace offering an outstanding curation of foods (fresh and packaged) and beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic). The vibe is a Scandi farmhouse contemporary minimal. Great benching with a light and airy interior. Beautifully spartan. Logo is lovely. Coffee is excellent. Loved the focaccia too! I've been there twice and will be back!

The chocolate sourdough was delicious, we had it sliced and both untoasted and toasted. Enjoyed it both ways.

We stopped in Michigan City and ended up at a coffee shop called Fluid. I was having a headache and forgot to bring something to take for it. I ordered a coffee drink with lavender syrup because that tends to help relieve my headache. The girl at the counter mentioned that they make their own syrups. The coffee helped relieve my headache. I asked another girl if it would be possible to buy some. She didn't think they could sell me some, but she gave me a "sample" cup size of the syrup to take home. (I tried to pay her, but she said it was a gift). A few days later, I wrote the company to thank her for her kindness. I did not know the girl's name, but they replied that it was Lily, and if I could come in, they would give me a bottle of the syrup. Unfortunately, I live an hour away, but I offered to pay them for the syrup and shipping if possible. Instead, they sent me the recipe, some lavender buds to make my own, two kinds of lavender teas, several pins, and stickers. I was overwhelmed by their kindness and wanted to send them a check, but when I called to inquire about the cost of the items and shipping, I was told it was strictly a gift. The time spent in their truly unique shop was peaceful and lovely. The coffee was definitely much, much better than that of the typical coffee shop. It is the kind of place where one can sit and visit without feeling rushed, and where someone might sit working on their laptop -- an actual coffee shop. And now I know that the people who own and run Fluid are the kind of people that America is about. During these difficult days, both politically and with my health. I cannot thank FLUID enough, for making my life calmer and better

I got the Diana of the Dunes iced latte and it was really good. Smooth roast, and the lavender wasn't overpowering at all. Also tried a hot Voodoo coffee, and the flavors were just as tasty. For food, we ordered the Minor Threat and Parma Police--both were very good. The fresh tomatoes were a nice touch. The avocado spread itself didn't have much flavor, but it worked well in the sandwich overall. The hot honey chips on the side had a quick kick and were delicious. Overall, great vibe, great drinks, solid food. Would definitely come back!

I ordered the White Fish dish and my wife had Tortellini with vodka sauce with added sausage crumbles. Both dishes were incredible and I'd strongly recommend. Now for the downside and the reason for only rating 4 stars. Prior to dinner we split a Zsa Zsa Salad. The menu describes this as having poached shrimp, asparagus bits, bacon, avocado, tomato with a Balsamic Vinaigrette. For some reason the shrimp decided to leave the plate before we got it. Without the shrimp, the salad was boring and pretty much flavorless. We would have liked it better had they used Romaine rather then the foliage we all used to discard before serving. We asked the Bartender about the missing shrimp and she put in an order for a side of shrimp. The side arrived after we had pretty much finished with the salad. Not complaining because we ate the shrimp as it was the best part. The surprise came when we received the bill which contained the $19.00 charge for the salad as well as a $10.00 charge for the side of shrimp. I pointed that out and it was promptly removed. In summary, I'd suggest a hard pass on this menu item. Not to leave this review on a sour note, we love Cafe Farina and as previously mentioned the entrees were both fantastic. As a side note, we tried their privately labeled Farina Valpolicella Red. Moderately priced and well worth it's $56.00 price. We will order that again.
