We really loved this place when we visited during a recent trip to Michigan. We only went to two public places, and this was one of them! I left my family outside so only one of us had to mask up, and it was definitely worth the trip. The staff was wearing gloves but not masks, and that was a bit of a bummer. They did have a barrier up at the register which was really nice. Everyone was friendly and happily scooped my four flavor choices. We had the Superman, mint chip, butter pecan, and oatmeal cookie (happy to report that one had NO raisins!) The ice cream was absolutely amazing, and everyone was so happy with their flavor. I thought the butter pecan stole the show. I definitely recommend stopping here if you can! read more

This was our first visit to the restaurant. We should have known it was going to be a bad experience when we were greeted at the door with "do you have a question?" rather than "please pick a seat" or "someone will be with you in a moment." It didn't take long to order (that was one of two positives...the other being the food quality)...but we sat for more than 25 minutes following the order before the meal came. This was not a real difficult meal either. There was no apology of explanation for the wait. I had ordered curly fries rather than regular fries with my meal and the waitress noted there would be an upcharge (the difference in price listed in "The Sides" was less than 50 cents). I agreed to the upcharge. When we were finished with the meal, the waitress came with the bill, then ran off for an additional 10 minutes to rectify some problem with the bill...again with no explanation. The final bill was $3 more than it should have been because I was charged for the full price of the curly fries rather than the difference between the two items of 50 cents. If you are going to charge me full price for the curly fries then I should have also received the regular fries since they were included in the price of the sandwich. I didn't believe that this was the fault of the waitress, so she still received a gracious tip. If you are just looking for good food, and don't mind a long wait, and can watch out for unwarranted upcharges, then this is the place for you. Paid over $70 for food for takeout. They said I would be texted when ready, got no text went 30 minutes and no text saying my god was done. Nothing on my burger was right how I ordered it which was the mad max the most expensive thing on the menu. When I called after taking a couple of bites and realizing it I got met with attitude from the owner!! I dont recommend this establishment at all very very poor customer service especially from myself being local. Just had one of the worst experiences I've ever had and the owner was just plain out rude. Don't go there!!!! If you are visiting Bridgman MI don't ever go there speedway has better food!!! read more

Excellent food. We chose this restaurant because of the great reviews and the potential for vegan options. The garden veggie burger and fried veggies are the only options- but they were yummy. My husband thought the quesadilla was really good. We felt entirely unwelcome, however. We were not greeted, we didn't know where to order, our two questions were met with stares. Was it because we were wearing masks? We're fully vaccinated and one of us is immune-compromised. Were our masks the reason? Was it because we're new (strange in a tourist town)? We watched folks without masks warmly greeted. Maybe they were old friends. It made for an odd experience. The food was very good. The service left us disappointed. read more

Cute little spot. First time there. Burger was good, well priced. Sweet potato fries were very overdone. Server was attentive and friendly, apparently everyone knows my dad by name so I will now have to visit more often. They have a loyalty program, 10 burgers of same variation and 11th is free. Terrible! We had the Italian beefs and a burger. Everything was processed frozen food. Nothing fresh here. No one was eating here at noon (should have been a sign) and it still took forever to get our food. When she finally brought out our food, she told us she hated dogs and insulted our breed of dog (boxer mix). She brought out two tiny paper cups of ketchup for four people. When we asked for more ketchup she would only give us two more. She told us we would have to pay for more ketchup. I told her this was absolutely ridiculous. Other customers were coming in, so she told me she would refill the paper cups we had already used (gross & unsanitary). This was a bad end to a great trip at Weko beach. read more

We order from Rochefoet's about once a week! Delivery food is often lack luster, but this always arrives warm and fresh! Great, classic, American Food. One of the best bacon burgers I have ever eaten in a restaurant, I like hamburgers and order them all over the usa,this was the first to really pile on the bacon not just a measley two strips it was covered in bacon and a hand made 1/2 pound patty dam good flavor, Highly recomend this place if you want a good No frills meal with excellent service, waitress took the time to brew me coffee in the late afternoon every time I ate their ,that never happens at most places read more

I love this place, and when I want ice cream, this is the only place to go. They have the best flavors in town and are generous with the scoops. The Chicago dog is excellent and covered with everything I could think of. The bacon burger is my favorite - the seasoning is just right and the bacon is plenty, which is unusual in my experience. In most places all you get is two floppy strings. If you're in the area, they deliver - I came in for lunch and they could hardly keep up with all the orders coming in from local businesses. It's a good quick meal + desert when you're done cooking yourself on the beach. read more

I grew up in this town and I really don't like writing anything bad about any business here because I love seeing all the growth in the area and I want Bridgman to be a successful tourist destination but seriously, I can't recommend this place at all - just take your money elsewhere. This place is an affront to customer service and is NOT family friendly in the least. And the food is meh at best. The burgers were dry as a bone and the cheese fries were these big fat soggy things smothered in crappy canned "cheese" glop. My two kids (ages 12 and 14) and I had stopped in here to grab something to eat while we waited for hair appointments 2 doors down since we were about 30 minutes early for our first appointment. My son was still eating his burger when the first appointment time rolled around so I asked if they minded if he stayed there for a few minutes to continue eating his food while I ran to check my daughter into the hair place that was literally 10 feet away. They said no "they couldn't watch my child", that it was "liability issue" and "they would not be responsible if anything happened to him" - said that line at least 3 times. And if they "got busy" they "wouldn't be able to keep an eye on him". First of all, he's freaking 12, not TWO and I wasn't asking them to babysit, I was being courteous and asking if they minded if he continued to eat his burger at our table, alone for a few minutes, so I could run two doors down. And there wasn't a soul in the place besides us when I asked this (and even before and after we left there was maybe 4 people in the place, tops). It was also 3 in the afternoon so not really the big rush hour either. But whatever - I think it's absolutely ridiculous that a 12 year old boy can't be left alone for 5 minutes in a restaurant to finish the food his parent has already paid for while she pops into a neighboring shop for a few minutes - and parents are the ones turning kids into incompetent pansies who can't function in society - right... I remember riding my bike all over this damn town as a kid, hanging with friends and using my babysitting money to buy candy and ice cream from the local shops and now all of a sudden 12 year old kids need constant adult supervision. The best part was after he and I started quickly packing up the partially-eaten food so he could go eat in my car and my daughter - who I sent alone to the hair salon to check in - comes back to tell us the owner of the salon said my son was welcome to bring his food over there to eat and while she's standing near the door relaying this message to me, the woman behind the counter admonishes her for letting out all the air conditioning. Seriously? She had the door partially open for maybe 10 seconds. Unbelievable. Keep your damn air conditioning and your crappy food - you don't deserve to have a business dealing with the public if this is how you treat your customers. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

What a cute little place! Took my daughter here for ice cream and ended up getting some food. Staff is very friendly and the food is reasonably priced and very tasty. The sweet potato fries were REALLY good. My friend had a burger and she said that it was delicious. The restaurant is very clean and has outdoor seating. Our food came quickly which was a bonus since we had a group of hungry children. We will definitely be back again. read more
