Both had burgers (drunken goose & cheese burger). I thought the drunken goose needs a little more bourbon sauce. For my…read morehusband and I, we are in retirement mode and while we have been here for only a short amount of time, the vibe works just fine for us. Ok onward. I'm extending my love of visiting food places (and other places also but you know food is it) to another state. FYI, Washington state, you were so legit with food places. Ok, I've been hearing about this place called Freddy's since we got here. It's been around for awhile and is extremely welcome known and popular. They serve a variety of goods, including great choices for burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, chili cheese, chicken tenders and steakburgers. There's too many other things to list but one of the main items that is super popular is the frozen custard. The hamburgers are smashed down and thinned out, so to speak, which is exactly how I like my burgers. You order at the counter, pay then you're given a number like most places. At the counter are packets of sauces for your fries or for whatever you want to put this stuff on. There are so many varieties, it's nice to have options. I ordered the California style double combo. I am an aficionado of the double double from In 'n Out, so I am always skeptical when I see something sort along the line of this burger. Other's in my party had the same burger, the chicken sandwich and a hotdog for my granddaughter. You can choose fries, tots, cheese curds, onion rings or applesauce as your side. We didn't have to wait long and our number was called. Now I've eaten my share of burgers, it's one of my favorite foods. This burger didn't disappoint. Smashed patty, onion, thousand lettuce, tomato and cheese. So good. I mean honestly just a good burger. I'm half and half on the fries. Now you've heard of shoestring fries right? These are seriously thin shoestring fries, I mean like you can gather a huge handful at one time, dip them and just go to town. And I did...Are shoestrings my favorite, no but these were good. My granddaughter had the custard. I don't know the difference between custard and regular ice cream and well, it doesn't matter. She had the chocolate custard and it was really good, I snuck a taste. Kids get this in their meals, how great is that? So would I come back here again. Yes indeed, there are so many other things to try and I look forward to that. To me, the inside is kind of old school vibe. You know like the whole red and white theme Grease (you know the movie?) hangout kind of place. I like it. So if you haven't tried this place, please do so. It's just good food.

You get your choice of drink, app and entree at an unbeatable price. I usually go with the burger and I've never been disappointed. Juicy with just the right amount of pink in the patty. The side salad is just the right size to go with my burgers and fries and ensure that I get at least some veggies in my dinner. Portions are generous for both the burger and fries, no skimping just because it's a deal. To think you would pay more to get something similar at a fast food place is just insane. For a quick and easy on the wallet bite to eat, Chili's is always consistent and good.

Arrived at 10:30pm was gonna go thru drive thru but they had a sign blocking it so we just went inside. Pretty clean as we walked in, we stood at the front waiting to order for a little while. We sat down and it took maybe 6-7 mins to get our food. We changed our minds on eating inside after the manager and employees were yelling across the room to each other. It was kinda obnoxious and annoying. Food was really fresh apart from the chicken. The chicken had been sitting in the warmer for a while but still tasted better than mid. They have a very big menu and standing there looking at it when you go in, is a bit much. They have quite a few options, value baskets, chicken, seafood, sides, drinks, lemon ice, sandwiches, salads and much more. One of the items that caught my eye were the butter burgers. Looking at the ingredients, this is a fresh, never frozen beef, served on a lightly buttered toasted bun. This I might have to try another time. After finally choosing something, I ordered the cranberry Bacon Bleu Salad. My daughter ordered the value basket, grilled chicken sandwich. This is a bargain costing 11.89, it comes with fries and a drink. We ordered the kid's meal which is also a deal at 6.99. Kids get their choice of meal with fries, drink and ice cream. We also ordered a side of onion rings. All of the items in our meals were good. I was particularly very happy with the cranberry bacon bleu salad. Lots of chicken, cranberries, blue cheese and bacon. It's a really good size and I had leftovers for sure to take home. I'd like to mention that this business practices inclusion. Many of the employees exhibit some type of disability. Giving people the chance to be productive in life, is simply commendable. My daughter experienced a big delay in picking up and order done online. Looking at the reviews there seems to be a problem with this. Hopefully Culver's can get this together and make sure that delays like this stop happening. Would I go back here? Yes, I would. I gave this a 3 simply because I'd like to revisit this place, try more items and see how that goes. I definitely will.
