The plan is very clean and well maintained and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are about the same as most yoga studios. I am a former yoga instructor and I'm pretty picky about my yoga classes. I've also practiced for over 7 years on a regular basis and on and off for about 15-16 yrs. I absolutely love their vinyasa style/power classes but felt the sculpt was just okay. I taught a lot of sculpt down in San Diego and we were trained to teach to the beat of the music + a heavy emphasis on verbal cues to set you up. I definitely will come back for the vinyasa classes again when things settle down a bit with covid and I'm in town again.

And I really wish they would state that they do not have an indoor bathroom before someone travels for about two hours to get here. Bring your own bottled water! No drinkable water here. There were two kids (baby goats), and the others were like 70-80 pounds. So be aware of the weight before you go and have these on you. It might be more ram yoga for you vs goat yoga. We got the kids, and my back feels super fine today! The goats do poop and pee everywhere so leave your bags in the car. Wear your non lululemon leggings because the hooves will stick to you if they jump on you, and there goes $100 yoga pants. And they provide their own mat, just use that one for your own sanitary reasons. Luckily, we prepared extra outfits for the pumpkin patch after. But the water was ice cold and this affects the review much as well. After touching a poopy mat, if there isn't hot water, how am I supposed to be okay with post-barn goat yoga? If I had known beforehand that there wasn't a way to even wash my hands thoroughly, I wouldn't have participated. I assumed that there would be warm water. If you want pictures taken of you, you must ask the photographer. Or sit in the front, just an fyi. All in all, I love the fact that they rescued these goats. The owners are nice. Also this isn't a yoga class where the teacher will correct your moves or help you, so hopefully you have some yoga familiarity before you come. She was easy to follow. Lastly: The goat snacks and treats are in a pitcher above attached to a wall. Hopefully I was able to type some of the things that will be helpful for your goat yoga.

So please be sure to contribute ;) The most of them comes from Goat Yoga classes which are the ones I am reviewing today as I didn't have the opportunity to know the rest of the farm. Goats are incredibly friendly. They have been treated and loved over everything :) They are the queens and respected during class because all of us came with a great attitude to share our time with them in their own space :) I have to say that the class is a very basic one supposed to be for everyone. I wish there would be more levels but I think that would make "work" these goats. So, playing with them was good enough for me :) Definitely was in my bucket list. Staff is mega friendly and patient. I can see their passion about the animals. You can be sure the whole team is prepared. They will also take pics.

The rules are completely over the top. You have to be 16+ just to use the hot tub, which already feels excessive, but banning pool noodles is next level ridiculous. I didn't even bring one, they literally had a whole bin of them there, just sitting there that no one is allowed to use. What is even the point of that? Then, after paying, I was forced to wait 30 minutes for absolutely no clear reason. No explanation, no organization, just standing around while time was wasted. It honestly felt like they didn't care at all. And the sanitation? Questionable at best. For a place that's supposed to be about swimming and cleanliness, it did not feel clean or well-maintained. Overall, this place manages to be strict, disorganized, and underwhelming all at once. Charging people for this kind of experience is wild. Today was one-on-one with the teacher and getting used to the water. There was some instructions for the kiddos and they did great listening! I definitely recommend giving this place a shot. They have a shallow end for the kiddos. LSH didn't have a shallow end. They have an awesome snack counter with drinks and coffee. Everything you need for swim meats. There is also a large gift shop right when you walk in. We look forward to the rest of the classes as the summer progresses.

Carly is an amazing teacher and has sparked my newfound love for yoga! I had several injuries that she said were no problem to work around. I was very scared for our first class, especially since it was in public at a park! But Carly has such a calm demeanor she put me at ease. She is one of those rare teachers that meets you where you are; she knows when to give pointers and when to just let you do your best at attempting new poses. She is always very responsive with any questions or concerns. Even though she is SO knowledgeable about the body and yoga she finds a way to explain things in a way that makes sense. She also gives you explanations that put into context what you are doing and why. She challenges me every time, but is understanding and flexible with my limitations. I cannot recommend Carly and Catalyst Yoga enough! If you are interested in trying yoga, no matter your past experience, Carly has a ton to offer as a teacher and role model.

When I heard about standup paddle board yoga class in Lake Stevens, I had to check it out. Yoga on land is fine. But standing up, on a paddle board, in Lake Stevens, doing yoga stretches, is a lot harder but well worth it! I fell in the lake but Carla was very patient with helping me get back on the board. I'm glad I did! It was awesome! It was a perfect summer day for this class and very relaxing on the lake. If you want to challenge your yoga practice, this class will provide that. But even if you don't practice yoga, maybe you just enjoy standup paddle board or kayak, this class will add an fun and interesting layer to your aquatic adventures.
