My favorites were sweet chili garlic and pineapple jalapeño. It's spicy but not too spicy. (But I guess I should add that I'm accustomed to spicy food so it depends on your palette) The favor is delicious! I enjoyed my time there. Taped off floors with markers for lines and distancing, and vendors setup to manage it all with a smile! It was an absolute pleasure shopping at the market. We picked up some delicious strawberries, squash, figs, and corn! The tomatoes from Prema Farms were beautiful and delicious, and so was the honey sourdough they made! Crowds around 10am were light and it was a breeze to shop. Can't wait to return!

Afterwards we visited the farmer's market and picked up two desserts. VENUE As mentioned, the market is small but they had about everything that a larger one would have too. Fresh veggies and fruit, crafts, ice cream, pies, and food. We dropped by one place called "Tahoe Pan Ice Cream" which is one of those places that serve poured cream and "scraped" ice cream in a cup. You might've seen this on travelogues on Youtube (popular in SE Asia) and yes, that's the style of scraped ice cream I'm talking about. It was quite good and in a shareable portion size just right for us. There was another shop we dropped by that sold homemade pies. We struck up a conversation with the owners who were long time residents of SLT. They were a nice couple, so we bought their one and only remaining Key Lime Pie. Sorry no pics because we gobbled that delicious pie like nobody's business that same night :) Overall if you're in the area during the summer, it's definitely a good stop if you're NOT looking for large crowds and away from the NLT "scene" near the casinos.

Much of the produce is locally grown, or locally adjacent (AKA California) OK, Bananas do not grow in the Great Basin. The origin of the produce is identified. They work with local farmers, bakeries, and other local businesses for the food and non-food items. They no longer have the upstairs restaurant but they do have a kitchen and make ready to go items. I love picking up a fresh salad (some with meat some purely vegan/vegetarian) , a yummy very generously filled wrap, house made cookies and other delectable treats. They have a large selection of locally produced meats. Lots of organic canned goods, dairy and non-dairy items . . . the list goes on. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Memberships are available (20$/year) with a once a month 10% off of your total purchase. You do NOT need a membership to shop here. It's small and a bit cramped but there is a lot of good stuff there. It's clean and friendly and completely locally owned.
