Burnt beyond recognition, no guacamole, and some nasty white sauce (queso) to try and hide the burnt. Not how they are supposed to come!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! CRAPPY ATTITUDES, CRAPPY SERVICE, CRAPPY FOOD! So the husband and I got a sitter to watch our 2 kids on Valentines Day (which also happened to be Taco Tuesday!) so we could finally have a night out together. We decided to go here, as we had been here before and had decent experiences (sit in and take out). What a mistake it was! We weren't expecting fine dining, just decent food, 99 cent tacos and 1.50 margaritas. Things went wrong from the start. We arrived and waited over 5 minutes to be acknowledged or seated. Wait staff passed right in front of us three times, with nary a word. Finally a waitress walked towards us, grabs 2 menus, says just 2 as she walks away, so we figure it was for us, drops the menus on the table and keeps on walking. Our table was dirty, had no napkins, the menus had crusted food on them that wouldn't even flick off, and both hot sauce bottles were empty. A couple minutes later a gentleman comes up, hurriedly asks for our order. We get a .99 berry lemon shot, a $1.50 strawberry margarita and an order of the taquitos. He seemed rushed taking our order and annoyed that we asked him some questions. My husband told him we would be ready to order more when the drinks came and he took off. A couple minutes later a waitress comes by and asks if we have been helped, we tell her yes but we would also like 2 waters. She comes back, drops the waters and walks off. Our waiter comes and drops our drinks off and runs. We try to get his attention to order more food but he ignores us and keeps going. My husbands shot is in one of those little plastic pill size cups they give you your medicine in at the doctors office, couldn't have been more than an ounce, if you were lucky, tasted like cough syrup, but what did we expect for .99? My margarita tastes like frozen strawberry slushee without a hint of tequila, but again, whatever its $1.50. My husband then goes to take a drink of his water and notices the ENTIRE rim of his glass is covered in pink lipstick. We try to get the attention but again we are ignored, they just keep walking past us with not a word. As we are waiting for our taquitos to come we start looking around and notice a couple of things. There are only 2 members of waitstaff, every table they do eventually go to has some kind of issue. They keep walking past us ignoring our efforts to flag them down. Our taquitos come out, more than 25 MINUTES after we ordered them, and the waiter literally drops them on our table as he is passing by. Drops and runs, again not a word. We look at them and they are disgusting, burnt to a crisp, black, and smothered with some kind of gross looking sticky white stuff. Maybe a feeble attempt to cover up the fact they were obviously overcooked? They are supposed to come with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole. No guacamole, and tiniest 1/2 slice of tomato, along with the lettuce and sour cream. The white sticky stuff I am assuming was queso sauce. Now we are like forget it, No way are we staying eating charcoal. At this point we notice another waitress, dressed in sweats and a t-shirt, trying to resolve issues at the table across from us and behind us. Since the other 2 working keep ignoring us we flag her down. She comes over to us, obviously upset, and my husband apologetically explains the situation and asks for the check for our margarita and shot. We get no apology, no acknowledgement of the dirty ass glass or burnt ass food. She comes back with a water in a to go cup? for us and drops the check and runs. We go to the front counter to pay and notice we were charged full price for the margarita. When we point this out to the girl in sweats we are told "Its that price because its in a glass" and then she walks off to deal with a car that is being towed out front. In a glass? Really? What else is is supposed to be in? The gentleman behind us who has the same issue with his margaritas being charged full price and her response to him is "it's that much because you ordered 7 of them" and walks off. I tell him we have the same issue and that we were told it was because our drink came in a glass, look at his check, and it clearly shows that yes they got 7 of them, but at full price! We stay at the counter, she comes back and says "You still need help?" We go over the issue again. I see her punch the order into the POS and it shows the correct price. She deletes it, punches in "lime margarita in a glass" it shows full price, deletes that, then finally, exasperated she snaps "Fine just leave $3.00". My husband drops a $5, says $3 for the bill and $2 for your trouble and we leave. Apparently the girl in sweats had come in to eat with her friends and got wrangled into working and dealing with peoples messes. We felt bad for her but she could have at least pretended to be apologetic, but I guess since no one else was why should she? We went home, paid the sitter and I made dinner instead. Date night was a bust.

I love the food, service is always great. You get the typical Mexican restaurant ambiance which I love!

They have an extensive drink menu, with cocktails, local and imported beer, and wine. The Tapas Experience, $30 for 3 tapas, is such a good deal! Service was good! They did a good job of spacing out serving us the tapas. For drinks, I tried the Bourbon Peach Smash, Blackberry Gin, and Godiva Chocolate Martini. All cocktails were $12. They were all good! However, I didn't see any fresh muddled peaches in the Bourbon Peach Smash. Here's the food I tried: - Adult Fries ($12): Amaaaazing. Not spicy to me! - 3 Cheese Arancini ($12, unless part of Tapas Experience): Fine, but 3 balls just isn't worth it to me. - Lemon Ricotta and Roasted Red Pepper Crostini ($12, unless Tapas Experience): Super good!! - Bruschetta ($12, unless T.E.): Delicious! - Duck Confit Egg Rolls ($16, unless T.E.): Such a large portion! Very good! - Buffalo Chicken Sliders: They were out of short rib, so they recommended these to us instead. I wasn't a huge fan and wouldn't get these again. - Tapas Tacos (3 for $15, but you get 2 when doing T.E.): We tried the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and the Black Bean. Neither were that great. Next time, I would do the Tapas Experience and get the Lemon Ricotta and Roasted Red Pepper Crostini, Bruschetta, and Duck Confit Egg Rolls. That was enough between 2 people. If we were still hungry, I would get the Adult Fries. I would go back!

For my first time in Huntington WV, I happy that I found this place. An underground delight! Tapas,…read morewitch, to me, were large portions. (And I can eat) The atmosphere was relaxing and could totally be a date night environment, to birthday, to suite and tie cocktails after work! Totally multi situation friendly! Love the couch and chair set up! But if you just want to sit at a table or bar, they have that option as well! Now speaking of bar, they have a solid selection of drinks, (Bourbon being my favorite) the upper shelve selection was not large, but I'm normally okay with that because it keeps this Whiskey and Bourbon snobs that just want to talk about how expensive the bourbon they drink is. As long as they have a solid selection of mid rang, and a good mixer/bartender then I'm a happy camper! NOW speaking of mixer/bartender. Chelsey was great. Makes a solid cocktail and handles the back of the bar like a true professional, you can definitely tell she is there to help this establishment keep there customers and make new locals and visitors want to come back! Yes! On that note, I will be back, main reasons, the whole staff was friendly, they get to you in a quick and professional manor to explain the menu. Constantly checking on you to see if you needed anything(drink was never empty)! And last but not least, the environment! @hikinginbrooks Thank you very much!
