I don't usually think to review the gas/convenience stations where we stop while on a road trip,…read morebut I felt this place warranted a shout-out. Me and The Hubs took a recent road trip from the Denver area to Santa Fe. We took I25 down to SF, but decided to take the scenic route back home via hwy 285 through Antonito/Alamosa/Buena Vista/Fairplay, etc. So- the (approx) two-hour stretch from SF to Antonito is anything but scenic. Also, there is nowhere to stop for a bathroom break (at least not that I saw and I was looking). Then, over the horizon, there it was! A gas station! And not just some old run-down two-pump thing but a real modern Sinclair gas station! Anyway, we pulled in and found very clean restrooms and friendly staff. This location had a decent selection of snacks and drinks and was clean overall, plus it had a small restaurant that serves burgers and fries (I didn't have one, but it was good to note for future reference). As I mentioned, this is now a Sinclair gas station (not Antonito Fuels) and is about 2 hours from Santa Fe. If you're heading north from there, you'll be ready to stop. If you're driving south, STOP HERE. There's nothing else in the two hour drive from here to Santa Fe. Trust me.

Truck stop + burger grille + fuel = Antonito Fuels to the rescue…read more So this reasonably-sized station is near the Colorado-New Mexico border. It was well-lit when I drove by on April 7, 2023. That is very important to me as a woman. The self-service pumps are available 24-hours. Also, I gassed the ol' Jeep up here on 4/10/2023 heading back home. The prices are competitive with the surrounding area, albeit on the high side. That morning, Sinclair's unleaded was $3.75 per gallon. They also have plus and premium gasoline as well as diesel. The station itself is large. Clean. Trash cans weren't overflowing. Not crowded with weirdo tourists, however, it was 8:30AM. Lol. Additional services: + air + ATM + propane Easy to access from both sides of the road whether you are in a small or larger vehicle with a trailer. I bet I'll be stopping here more in the future. When I found out this place had decent restrooms and a burger grille with really good burgers it was a match made in heaven for me.

If there was a way to leave less than one star I would! I originally worked with Adobe Propane but…read morethey were bought out by AmeriGas and I have spent more time on the phone trying to figure out their scams than should be necessary. They are a shifty company with questionable ethics. They should not be allowed to take advantage of the residents of New Mexico and I plan to reach out to my state senator and representative to change the laws regarding propane companies. Unfortunately there are no local companies that can help me so I'm stuck with large companies that do not care about customers. If you are interested in changing the laws around propane companies to be more consumer friendly here in New Mexico contact me!

RUN FAR AWAY AND FAST! Getting charged $90.14 for a 20 min visit where NOTHING was done other than him speaking to my plumber about BS (who used to work for Amerigas) who was here already putting in a bid. I literally got charged for him doing NOTHING. Go to Rio Grande Propane or Kit Carson. My Taos office won't make this charge go away so maybe posting on EVERY single online option such as google maps, yelp, FB and more about how I got charged and still am 90 bucks on my account when Chris came here and did NOTHING on my property nor did he tell me or my plumber things we didn't already know, maybe at least telling the world might help... and if not, at least people get the hard truth about your company. I just spent MONTHS in the hospital and I did ALL I was asked to get brought up to code even though I've been filled for 7 years and thEN they tell me it will be a month to trade out my tank and fill on top of charging me when Chris came out and DID NOTHING... when that Taos office KNEW I was having major surgery and KNEW I had no heat when this runs out.... or a way to cook and that I was scurrying to get up to code in betweeen major surgeries in CA I have been having.. I HAVE NO HEAT and have a catheter in my gut and a major bladder surgery I just underwent.... I also cant afford 90 bucks when NOTHING was done. I have NEVER not paid my bill or had it late... this is a disgrace to your company and to the MGR Michael you have working there.
