This was in the winter and they don't answer their phones. I was ignored by the people working there I. The office, then someone finally decided to help me and said she'd put us in the board. We got down to 10% and had to drive back. Again ignored. Thankfully we owned our tank so we just went with Arrowhead Propane and got propane immediately. There are so many other choices now for propane, I would not go with Ferrell. Also if you rent a tank from them, expect to wait months to have it hauled off if you do switch.

Since Ferrellgas took over direct operations from Selph's, service and dependability have disappeared. The final insult is that their CEO is pulling in $1.6 million in 2024 while we worry if our tank will ever get filled.

I have been trying to get this situation fixed and get my tank back for over a week now. They tell me I need to speak to someone at customer service. Wait times are 75 minutes. When someone finally answers, they transfer me, and I have another wait time of over an hour. I leave a callback, get a call six hours later, and they tell me they'll have someone else contact me in 72 hours. They never call back. I'd drop Amerigas like a hot rock if I didn't have two other underground tanks on the ranch that they won't sell me and I can't have anyone else service by law as long as they own the tanks. If you are considering a propane service DON'T choose Amerigas if you have ANY possible alternative!

Real people at Basin Coop rather than call centers. Better prices by far and better service by a mile. The final insult: After paying Amerigas's high prices for 23 years on time and without fail, they are charging me a $419 tank pickup to remove their empty tank from my property. This is a poorly run business with no concern for customers and no ethics to keep them awake at night.
