One and done. Checked out Ernie's Patio Bar for the first time and decided to try this truck out for some dinner. Big mistake. The photos and descriptions on their truck and menu look amazingly mouthwatering. Naturally, we ordered based on that. What we received was NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING, like what we saw or read. Unfortunately, I didn't get good pics because it was already dark. DH ordered the Cubano Sliders. 4 sliders with fries, and he opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. We've had plenty of sliders in our lives, and these things were TINY. They looked like delicious sliders in the menu photo, but you know the chicken minis you can get at Chik-Fil-A? That's how big they were. One or 1 1/2 bites each. Super small. The fries very garlic-heavy, but we like garlic so that wasn't too terrible, but the fries themselves were not good. Too crisp and dry inside, they just snapped off when you took a bite. The other dish was Pollo Guisado. I'm not denying what "guisado" style chicken is, and in my photo it is pretty accurate, but the photo they display- which was what I wanted- is completely different. Couldn't be more opposite! Their photo and description showed whole pieces of chicken with grilled peppers and onions, rice on the side. Looked pretty delicious. The young girl who took my order said they could do vegetables but it's extra. Huh? Ok, but the picture with the vegetables looked great so I went with it. She asked which beans I wanted (not in the menu photo) but I chose to skip the beans. What I received was a pile of pulled chicken (found a few bones inside!) with rice, some previously frozen mixed vegetable blend (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) that tasted way off, and fried plantains whose dominant flavor was the oil in which they were cooked. No whole pieces of chicken, no grilled peppers and onions, nothing in any way resembling what they advertised on their truck. For the two meals, it cost roughly $31. Not worth it in any way whatsoever. FWIW, our friend ordered a burger from the other truck and enjoyed it. We enjoyed Ernie's itself but the next time we go, we'll either get a burger from the other truck or get better food down the street. We were so hopeful for this one but it's a hard pass from here on out. read more

The owner is so sweet and the food is SO fresh and flavorful, I really recommend the beef pupusas and the agua frescas!!!! If you can, call ahead so it's easier for them!! read more

The location is great, there's ample outside seating, there is live music on the weekends and a indoor bar with cold beers. You have to be patient once you order your food because it takes a while. The food was not great, the Lomo Saltado had to much curry or cumin and it was served with Gandules Rice not White Rice like it is supposed to. While I give the owner A+ for effort, I believe her menu contains to many items that take along time to prepare. I would recommend a shorter menu with ingredients that can be use for cooking various dishes at the same time. This could potentially help her save time and money, plus provide her customers with tasty and fresh foods. read more

Excellent food and service. We have used them for a couple of parties and the empanadas were a huge hit both times.

Delicious food and drinks from several Latin American countries. My meal of Beef Skirt, Spanish Rice, Red Beans, Sweet Plantains and Banana soda was delicious but, the serving size was so generous that I was fully stuffed before I could finish my meal (and my wife wound up finishing it for me)! It was delicious, the staff was friendly and informative in describing the dishes that we weren't familiar with. The meals that we got for my wife and daughter will have to be finished later, probably tomorrow. We'll definitely be returning there again for more meals. A truly enjoyable dining experience (although there was plenty of outdoor seating, we chose to get our meals as takeout orders). read more

Received my tamales today. Ana delivered them to me personally and they were super hot when they arrived. They are huge and the most delicious tamales I've ever had. You've got to try the sweet corn. They are absolutely delish . I will be ordering again. read more

Tried their Carne asada and they were af!!!! Also, for dessert try the churro sundae!!! Yum!!!!

Food was blend, greasy, expensive, and did not taste good. Latin flavors were missing. Aguas frescas did not taste natural at all, were not made with real organic ingredients how it's supposed to and tasted fake. Horchata did not really tasted like it, it was more cinnamon. The watermelon was the best out of the four aguas frescas ordered (passion fruit, horchata and lemonade). The appetizer plate was super expensive for what it was served. Nachos super greasy. Chicharrones tacos had no flavor. The only items that were ok were: the fish tacos, sweet plantains, and the yellow rice with beans. Also, the bar next to it has sodas for a $1 which we end up buying after the bad experience with the aguas frescas. Maybe it was a bad day but our family experience was very disappointing. read more
