Lots of parking! Great location, easy to find. The stores and shops are well laid out, everything was clean and the place itself seemed pretty updated. I found all the mall staples like Hot Topic, Journey's, Cinnabon, an arcade of some kind. Its all there. I love this lol I have so many wonderful memories of shopping here in high school with my friends and it's always so great to go back see what's changed explore new stores and just walk. I'm so glad that they expanded. It made it more up-to-date and welcoming to everybody. This is one of my favorite malls other than the one that's in Missoula. read more

I'm not much of a mall person anymore. I do admit to a certain fascination with them; however, watching as they go through the reinvention cycles. While most malls don't have the big draw they used to have, there is something oddly satisfying about being able to get everything in one spot; maybe find something new, meet with friends, stop and chat with the neighbors, get some exercise for the kids or grandparents or even yourself. Malls are consistent with one thing: when the weather doesn't lend itself easily to outdoor activity and time is an issue, or when a nearby no-hassle break is needed, a stroll around Rimrock Mail is an okay alternate. It's not a megamall, there aren't hundreds of stores, but there is a nice variety for kids and adults. It seems there's always some activity going on either inside or outside -- particularly for families -- and that's makes Rimrock Mall seem like a quasi community center. As the only mall in the area, it draws from outside Billings as well. It's just the right size. Even in the short time I've been in Billings, I've noticed stores closing, but also have notice some smaller businesses on the list for opening. The reinvention cycle continues. read more

The mall seems to be in transition. A noticeable number of store front a long the main hallway are empty. The usual number of jewelry stores. Victoria Secret and H & M are a highlight. read more

An okay spot to walk with my kiddo during the winter months. HOWEVER I must mention our HUGE disappointment at the removal of the adventurous kids play area! ! We were so excited when we moved here that they had an indoor play area with the bridges and mushrooms and pretend creek and plants. Bustling with kids and families and laughter. Then. .. we went back the next week to find it COMPLETELY GUTTED! ! Just new flooring and coin cars fill the remorseful little void now. My daughter left crying that day. .. really guys. Most families won't come to the mall with their toddlers to pay 75 cents for 2 minutes of ride time on a silly stationary car with no parent seating area. Stupid! Almost completely lost my business. Fortunately, we found the, ...super weird, cubist, over-modernized, tiny play area on the other side of the mall. Bad design on that one; kids are constantly falling off of the equipment, have no space to run, parents are tense that their toddler will climb to the top of the cliff-like wall surrounding the play area and fall to a concussion on the other side. The weird "U...ish" shape of the area makes us all have to get up constantly to follow our kids around to see where they are; the wall is just short enough to give "reach in" access from outside of the area but coupled with the huge, impeding balls and cubes on the top it's impossible to see anything (like the weird lady that walked up from the outside and started talking to my daughter the last time i went). This isn't relaxing for me, and the equipment is barely entertaining for most kids with its lack of whimsy. Paired with the lack of store variety, men's stores, trend stores or discount stores and a tiny food court... this mall is no longer a place for us to go hang out OR spend our money. .. think about your primary money spenders! Are you giving me places to shop? Places for my husband to loaf around and look at gadgets and sports? Places...FUN, SAFE, places. .. for my daughter to play for free when we need a break? Ugh... this mall could be so much better. To its only benefit. ..we like Orange Julius and a warm walk in the winter. read more

This is a really nice mall considering the fact that the town is really small and doesn't really have much attraction outside of the mountains and snow (if you like snow). The major stores at this location is Dillards and Jcpenny. I guess as a chicago girl I may have placed a different perspective on the ideals of what a mall should be like. On a positive note, this place is good to take your children to play and interact because it is one of the major social hubs that ive seen so far. read more

Decent mall with a fair amount of variety of stores to pick from. Not the best mall I have been to but considerably better than others. Last time I was here it was not dying yet. Maybe it is because Billings is isolated and the mall has no sizable competition.....hmmmmm whatever. read more

Do not eat at FinnBrooks Free Fall! Horrible sawdust bread, slow service and an attitude complete with eye rolls if you inquire as to the status of your order. We waited just shy of 30 minutes for our sandwiches and we were the only people there! Then we couldn't even chew the bread. It fell apart in our mouths like sawdust. We ate the fixings with a fork. read more

There was a decent variety of stores here. I find that in most malls in Montana, including this mall, they are really missing stores for young professional women. The JC Penny was nice, as far as department stores go. I wanted to buy a lip stain at sephora and the salesman said he didn't like that one (appreciated his honesty) but then didn't have any other suggestions for me so I left empty-handed. read more

This mall used to have more interesting stores that you would want to shop at like Tea City, Deb's where you could find special occasion dresses, Wet Seal, Aero, and the Kitchen Store. The food court doesn't have much of a selection for food since Fudruckers and Arby's left, and the way they redesign the bathroom entrance, you feel like a mouse running a maze before you get to the bathrooms way in the back.
