It's like being in your grandma's house. It doesn't look like it of course, it's not a home, but it has inventory that looks like it could be your grandmas.
It's organized, far more so than other stores of its kind. Things are sorted by category, and labeled with prices that are both reasonable and expected.
Some items are straight from old, classic diners (plates, salt and pepper shakers and creamers) and others are obviously from well-loved collections.
It's the pictures though, from when color film first became mainstream along with old black and white photos where no one smiles, that's a little sad. Maybe the things in this shop belonged to those people, but it's still unfortunate that these unknown people have had their pictures tossed into a basket at an antique store for others to ogle dispassionately. That's weird.
Broadwater is still a nicely organized shop with things you expect to find as well as things you don't. With new inventory rotating in, if you see something, don't wait, it may not be there. read more
