They absolutely drown the Metro in ads so that when someone thinks "I need some luggage" they think, "Oh yeah, that place I saw in the Metro." Sure enough, Rayon D'Or has some super cheap pieces to lure you in, but they also are fully stocked with the very best in Samsonite, etc. Easy to find a mid-range piece, which is what I wanted, and fast service. Ironically, her current luggage was on it's last legs; therefore, she could justify making the purchase. While doing some browsing in Italy, we came across Rayon d 'Or. Being that they had a sale on pretty much all luggage, we decided to see what they had to offer. After five minutes of navigating the crowded establishment, my wife spotted a beautiful lightweight clay colored (I literally want to wrap my car in this color) Delsey Paris hardside luggage with built in USB charging ports & TSA-approved lock. While looking at it, a friendly employee who I assume was the manager, came over to show us the features of the luggage and confirm that purchasing it was a good decision. Roughly 30 minutes later (they were fairly busy), my wife was walking out of the store with a luggage that she paid $239 for (it was originally listed at $299). On a different note, if anyone in the United States were to ask me for a perfect example of great international customer service, I would refer them to Rayon d' Or. Although the store was busy, all of the staff were attentive to customers and moved with a sense of urgency. If you're in Paris and need to purchase luggage, I highly recommend visiting this store!

It's right by the Starbucks that runs through the middle. Best part it's open on Sunday which I found to be very challenging when trying to find luggage stores.
