From the phone call they make to schedule an appointment to the service I received from Veronica Ramirez. Veronica was SUCH A WEALTH OF INFORMATION! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to help me. I am beyond appreciative and grateful for all the help and support I received from her. She opened my eyes and guided me through such a tough process. She gave me the confidence I needed to get through my process of filing orders. She has such a passion for the work she does and the help she gives, and it shows! Without a doubt! THANK YOU AGAIN VERONICA! YOU ARE BEYOND AWESOME!

I am writing this review to share my concerns regarding the Shelter Director's conduct during my…read morerecent stay at Option House. It's important for the integrity of the program and the safety and well-being of clients to address these matters. During my time at the shelter, the Director was rarely present. When she did come in, her behavior was deeply unprofessional and concerning. On multiple occasions, she: * Spoke negatively about other staff members and shared personal problems inappropriately with residents. * Appeared to be under the influence. * She had a male visitor in her office for extended periods, and the door was closed. * Spoke to residents in an unprofessional and inappropriate manner, using street slang and disrespectful language that made many of us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. This kind of behavior is not reflective of the trauma-informed, respectful, and supportive environment that domestic violence survivors need. I am disappointed and hope this feedback will be taken seriously to improve the experience for future residents. Thank you for your time and for the work you do to support survivors. From, Former Resident

The WildHaven Ranch is a hidden gem in the forest communities…read more If I were to describe this place, it is a wild life rescue and refuge for animals that cannot be returned back into the wild. The privilege of visiting this and the education one receives while observing the animals is far different than the experience at a zoo or amusement park. The people that run this place are NOT entertainers. They have a passion and a love for the animals they care for and it is evident in their enthusiasm and dedication. This is a wild life refuge and a great educational experience for anyone who takes the time to visit. The staff have a lot to share. Your admission cost goes toward the care and feeding of these wonderful creatures which would otherwise have perished in the wild. There are Reptiles, Coyotes, Bears, Bobcats, Raccoons, Bald Eagles, Turkey Vultures, and a magnificent Golden Eagle in their care. These magnificent animals can be observed up close where they can be appreciated. Keep in mind that the price of admission is not for profit but instead goes towards operational costs of care and feeding of these amazing creatures. Make reservations because space is limited and the staff is dedicated to provide visitors with the best and most informative experience which will increase every visitors appreciation for the creatures that live around us. They cannot take unplanned walk-in visitors. Special Note: To locate this place, pay careful attention to the directions on their website. Your GPS will NOT accurately guide you to this location. They have an alternate location that the GPS will find. Then follow the signs to the entrance to the refuge compound.
