She did better with her physical therapy in the new room too. It's important for the integrity of the program and the safety and well-being of clients to address these matters. During my time at the shelter, the Director was rarely present. When she did come in, her behavior was deeply unprofessional and concerning. On multiple occasions, she: * Spoke negatively about other staff members and shared personal problems inappropriately with residents. * Appeared to be under the influence. * She had a male visitor in her office for extended periods, and the door was closed. * Spoke to residents in an unprofessional and inappropriate manner, using street slang and disrespectful language that made many of us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. This kind of behavior is not reflective of the trauma-informed, respectful, and supportive environment that domestic violence survivors need.
