Riko, here comes your worst nightmare. Linguini B respects small business. In over a century of reviews I've given out maybe two one stars. This, this is my third one star. I hate to do it - But, it's my responsibility to protect my followers Yelpers from making the same mistake I did. I really hoped this would just be a moderate pizza that quenched some hunger in a tight spot. I thought how bad could this place really be, it's probably like a 6/7 out of 10 pizza. I'm the first to admit it, for the first time in my life, I was wrong. I was wrong to hope for the best, today taught me to assume the worst here and there. Targeted pessimism, something I must improve upon. And yes you read that right, I went today and rushed home to write this in order to hopefully save as many of you as I can. Not to mention, I'm fully expecting the bathroom will become familiar with me very soon. Currently plotting on drowning my plunger. Imagine you believe in reincarnation and you come back as a plunger? Not even hades was that devilish. So now let me take you through the fully downward rollercoaster that runs straight through a field of manure - of which they call Riko's Pizza. It's actually kinda nice inside. Booths. Bar. TVs. IDEAL set up for a local pizza joint - you are just hoping and wishing the food is ok enough to come back. Then comes the menu. Simple and sure and ya feel like ok they only do a few things May they'll just do them solid enough. Naivety... oh I was so naive. The service was terrible. Nothing on the wait staff, just a matter of how long it takes food to come out. 2 pies every 20 mins. My pet mule Paco can make 5 pies in 20 mins, and he doesn't even know how to use an oven. Now for the taste. We first got a Caesar salad that is actually edible, you can have that from time to time. Good size, not impressive but you're like yea ok cool let's get after it girly. Tssssss. Then the jester of the show came onto stage. The pizza was heroically poor. First bite I went ok yea maybe, and then as I came to realization and accepted defeat I was like no. Not ok. I just got jumped by some kids outside of school. And I pretended I won the fight. But then as time passed on the PTSD kicked in, and I had to admit the truth. This was a waste of my money. Biggest waste of my money in 26' yet. Worse than paying for gas right now. Worse purchase than Ethereum at ATH in 2025. Yikes. Anyways. So so so so bad. The dough is basically California pizza kitchen but the toppings are even worse. It's no delivery it's Riko's... and it's pretend not frozen. This is frozen pizza. This is thin crust Domino's... if that. The Clam Pizza was done up in so much Parmesan, Garlic and Butter that I understood why my Italian ancestors were stereotyped in their early days in this country. This taste made me resent Riko. If Americans in the 1800s thought this is what was going on in Italian kitchens, I'd have probably hated us too. But it wasn't. And it's not. This is not how Italians cook. In the Northeast how does this chain survive serving this? Maybe in the Midwest this could pass (no offense, but ya wouldn't know better just like we wouldn't know BBQ better.) And then the hot honey pie. I think the cheese may have been taking out of a Play-Doh set. The hot honey was basically Thai chili sauce. The red sauce was clearly frozen in a packet and if not they need a new supplier. I mean this is just really really bad stuff. No way to cut it. The pizza isn't even uniformly cut. Staff took forever to clean us up. Everyone waiting on food. This was like a dumpster disco. Prom night. I'd rather take back my dumpster baby than come back here. I urge you fine Yelp citizens. Do not come here. Save yourselves. Save your family. Uh oh. I'm scurrying to the toilet. As expected. Sad day for me. Really sad. I let me down. I let you down. Never again. 1/5. Many of the reviews call Riko's pizza "thin crust" - and that's true, but the name for this style of pizza is Bar Pie. Connecticut Bar Pie to be exact, but bar pie is enough. Made famous by legendary Colony Grill in Stamford, CT, former Colony employee and pizza slinger Riko took the famed delicious recipe and method and went out on his own. First in CT and then landed in White Plains, where I welcome them with open arms and a hungry stomach! We got takeout for our first go at Riko's and the pies were no worse for the wear after a car ride. There's one pie that's a must-order: the hot oil. Marked by a yummy green signature "stinger" pepper to let you know you're about to try a pie that's impossible to stop eating until it's gone! Normal order for my brood is 1 pie per person, please. Pepperoni and sausage pies are yummy, but if your palate can handle it, get the hot oil. For maximum but delicious burn, order the "stinger" pie. I Really enjoyed this place. They offer many different pizza options that are customizable. In addition, other menu items to choose from such as wings. We tried 3 different pizzas and wings to start off. All very good. Paired it off with a 21oz fresh IPA. Staff friendly and cool interior. Has a nice bar area with several screens to chilll and watch sports. If you want a spot thats similar to Colony Grill but with more food options, come here. Will deff come back soon. read more

For those reasons, I liked Riko's Pizza. But the thin, thin, THIN crust pizza is just ok. And like our server told us on our first visit, "You'll likely eat more slices than usual" because it's so thin. But I kind felt like a glutton gobbling multiple slices before I felt full. Monday outing with my husband. We were immediately greeted when we entered. I informed the hostess that I'd like a booth and was offered options to sit towards the front or back. We chose the back since we didn't want to deal with the draft from the door opening. Within a minute, our waitress provided menus and came back a minute later asking for our drink order and if we needed more time. We had a great experience as our waitress was very attentive. Now I know my husband and I should expect SCREAMING kids at a pizzeria however this was 7pm on a Sunday night with school the next day. The echoing acoustic sound travel is simple incredibly. One gentleman from the bar kept dragging his seat constantly which is the equivalent of having long nails scratch a blackboard. Restaurant's really have to step it up a bit and politely "reminding" parents that after 15 minutes of kids SCREAMING, is not acceptable and there are other patrons here that are being tolerable but will no longer return. read more

Always on the hunt for good pizza...actually one of my comfort food holy grails There are certainly no shortage of places to go in proximity to White Plains where I live a few months out of the year Most spots are just kinda mid tier, & I find I have to cast a wider net to hit on exceptional pizza that is truly a cut above the rest My touchstone is Johnnie's in Mt Vernon an old school Italian thin crust joint that is considered by many to be the best pizza in all of Westchester So it was with great curiosity & measured expectations that I went to Riko's a new fast casual pizza chain located in the Crossroads Shopping Center in Greenburgh After doing some preliminary research, what appealed to me is Riko's offers a fully stocked bar as well as a proper assortment of beers on tap Wifey & I always like to sit at the bar whenever we visit a new restaurant. We believe it's the best way to get a full measure of a place & get good intel We perused the menu & ordered a cocktail & IPA, both were good We noticed they offer a happy hour menu & felt it would a great place to hang after work and very convenient for when we have to make either a Pet Smart or BJ's run...both of which are located in the same center We settled on sharing a six slice 13" personal pie...half plain & half custom (sausage, olives, & basil) Our pie came out fairly quickly. It was piping hot & had a wonderful thin crust The sauce, cheese, & various toppings were on point! I fully recognize this place has only been open for seven days, but this was an abhorrent experience from start to finish--one of the worst we've had. We walked in and waited several seconds without being greeted, eventually having to awkwardly ask for a table ourselves. After sitting for over 20 minutes with no service, we had to flag down a waitress just to order drinks. Anywhere else we would have walked out, but we really wanted to try this place. Beers and water took another 15 minutes to arrive and didn't even come out together. We ordered two apps: wings with extra blue cheese (important detail) and a Nashville chicken salad. After a long wait, the wings arrived with two sides of blue cheese--one normal cup and one filled only about a quarter of the way--followed by one of more than a dozen "sorry about that" remarks and a promise that the salad would be right out. At this point, the waitress informed us that three waiters had quit that night and also blamed delays on the power going down, which was literally a one-second surge--so which was it, staff quitting or a power issue? When the wings arrived, we ordered two pizzas (hot oil and sausage). After another 30 minutes, we still had no salad, no pizza, no plates or silverware, and no check-ins. All around us, other tables were complaining about long waits or having to ask just to order, enduring more "sorry about that" apologies (which should honestly be their slogan). We also witnessed the owner berating a waitress right next to our table. The pizzas finally arrived--fine, nothing exceptional--but still no salad. More apologies and another promise it would be right out. Five minutes later, the salad arrived and was unbelievably not worth the wait, but we were starving. While we were actively eating and holding slices of pizza, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert or boxes. Throughout the night, nearly every table around us was complaining. The owner stopped at almost every table except ours to check in and apologize, and we overheard him telling others the delays were due to the POS system going down from the power surge--even though those tables arrived 45 minutes after that happened. We got the bill and paid on our phones, and while I never expect compensation, I was surprised that not even a single drink was comped given how clearly frustrated we were and how new the restaurant is. The final kicker: the only time the owner came to our table was to ask if we had paid our bill. While this is a brand-new restaurant with staff that clearly has a lot to learn, it's equally clear the owner is also new to the restaurant business. This was a real disappointment, especially given the lack of new restaurants in the area, and it's definitely not a place we'll be returning to. read more

Both my wife and I felt we have had better frozen pizza than what was served here. It was tasteless at best. It looked like someone went over it with a tenderizer to give it pockmarks . The hostess asked if we wanted a booth or table and we responded booth. She then led us to a table and asked if it was alright. Went here for the first time today. Never heard of Riko's before. Had the special pie of the day: Clam Fra Diavolo. Wow!! I found the red peppers a bit too hot for me, so took them off. But wouldn't order this pie without them because the heat they left behind on the pie was just perfect for me. Thin, crispy crust is very different from the NY pizza I've eaten all my life, but what a nice alternative. Sauce and toppings very tasty, and so light. Turned out today there was an "extra" special: order the daily special and get a free plain pie to go. Had a slice of that one as soon as i got home. Yum! My server was very nice and helpful, since I wasn't familiar with the choices and so on. She made the experience extra good. Entire staff were lovely from greeting, seating, thru saying goodbye.
