Rigo and his office manager (Rose?) we're easy to work with and the new door arrived within the 4-6 week time period as expected. The installation went well and they were willing to move the installation up a few days when my schedule changed. The installation men, Irac and Alfonzo, were professional and polite. They cleaned up as they went and moved furniture as needed and put the pieces back at the end. They even stayed longer when a problem with the top rail of the frame had to be dealt with. Rigo came out and measured our windows and gave us a price estimate and a rough idea of an installation date. We accepted. A few weeks later, Rigo let us know the windows arrived and we scheduled the installation for the next day. Same day as we originally set up. A four man team arrived on time and introduced themselves. Each man was friendly and respectful. They did a quick view of the house and got to work setting up. They were removing the old windows and fitting the new ones within ten minutes of their arrival. We have never witnessed such a well organized group. Each man knew exactly what he was to do and got right to work. It was like watching a dance. They were very efficient. Within five hours, we had nine new Milgard windows installed, insulated and caulked. That time also includes a lunch break. Every piece of packing material, all the old windows and any scrap was removed. Inside the house was vacuumed in the work areas. The new windows were washed inside and out. All evidence they were here was removed except the beautiful new windows. We were so impressed from start to finish. And the house is so much quieter. Rigo came out to my house the same day I called him and had an estimate ready the next day! This was for a single patio door replacement. We thoroughly discussed the installation, the side that would open/close, color, and Millgard brand ( which I have had previous good experience with). Rigo knows his business thoroughly would be an understatement. There was a 2-3 week wait time for the special order color but I was OK with that. Alberto and his assistant installed the single patio door in about 2.5 hours including the good job they did on caulking seams and clean-up. Super personable and careful not to bump scratch or mar the fresh interior and exterior paint of my house, so very happy about that. Cost was lower than other estimates I obtained. I had to be patient with the supplier, but as soon as he had the windows, he had his crew install them. Nothing but good things to say - especially the price as compared to some other options. My review is based on my experience as a 31 year resident of our apartment in Goleta. Our building was bought by new owners and they hired Rigo to install new windows. At first Rigo seemed very nice and assured us that we would not be disrupted and that he would help us. He told us it would take a month or so to get the windows and then he would get back with us about preparing for the installation. We did not hear anything more until it was just before the installation date. No one consulted us or any of the other residents to see if we had any conflicts with the day or time of the installation. We were simply told we had to deal with it. Our neighbor had to take an entire day off of work to deal with it and the work was not done at the time it was promised. I had just had major surgery and was limited in my movement and could not lift anything more than a few pounds. I had told them this in advance. Rigo showed up and was upset that we did not have things all ready. I explained that we wanted to cooperate but that we needed some help. At first he said that was fine and that his team would help us. We went through each room and figured out how to make things work. But then we came to my office and there were some challenges. I was trying to understand exactly what he needed and how to accommodate them. I also said that I was supposed to be in a Zoom meeting at a certain time and I was hoping they could work around that. Suddenly Rigo turned from sweet and nice to an absolute rage. He threatened to call the owner and tell the owner that we were not cooperating. He said that we have no rights in this matter and that the owner has every legal right to do whatever he wants whenever he wants. I tried to calm him down and assure him that we were not trying to cause any trouble and understood that he needed to get the work done. We were just trying to make things work as smoothly as possible. He would have none of it. He stormed out the door and called the owner. Sure enough, the owner was then angry with us, claiming we were obstructing the work. Since they were new, they had no idea who to believe and sided with Rigo. There was no way to calm things down. In the end we were forced to wait in our place for a couple of days as Rigo failed to show up when he told the owner that he would be there. It also created a conflict with the owner that was impossible to resolve, even after the work was done. One of Rigo's own team told us that what we saw is a problem with Rigo. He can switch from Dr Jekyll to Mr Hyde in an instant. If things go well, you may do fine with Rigo. But what he did to us was truly horrific and I would never want to reward him for that behavior. read more

Our window replacement went very smoothly. The windows arrived as planned and the next day 4 young men came and started the 2 day job. They were respectful, hard working and responsible. I went home to my parents house earlier this month and was excited to see the new windows they had installed. I was shocked to see them severely leaking during the rain storm and the damage done to the wall and ceiling that occurred from the installation process. When we called Rigo's Windows to fix these issues, he dodged our repeated phone calls, when we finally got ahold of him, he got very emotional and angry making excuses for his employees poor work. Do not use this company, very bad service and customer service. We will be contacting small claims to have the work and damaged fixed as well as the contracting state licensing board. read more

If I could give Rigo's Windows a zero star I would. Rigo seems like a really nice guy and I wanted this install to work out so he could install windows in the rest of my house. Not the case. These are the facts of my experience: Rigo's Windows sent out a damaged window or it was damaged in the initial install. The installer installed a damaged window. The installer did not install the weatherstripping properly. At the bottom of the window the weatherstripping there are uneven folds and a 1 inch gap where there wasn't enough weatherstripping to finish the job. We will have to pay someone else to reinstall the window correctly. Their customer service on the phone was rude, unprofessional and unwilling to followthrough on my concerns. While I was on the phone someone was in the background yelling at the employee to get off the phone and answer the other ringing line. Rigo's did not tell me the window would arrive without a screen and would be a separate order and install. The manufacturer said Rigo's was notified. Rigo's has not contacted me in a timely manner to regarding the missing window screen that was shipped, according to the manufacturer, almost a month ago. I e-mailed Rigo's to invite him to make things right on the repair and provide compensation on the damaged window. Rigo did not reply. The following business day after I sent the e mail a partially wrapped screen was leaning against my fence. (Our gate and door were open and the delivery person could have delivered in person.) Perhaps the delivery person did not wish to speak to us in person as there was a scratch on the unprotected screen frame. I do not, as a rule, post negative reviews out of concern for the employees of the business but I feel strongly the consuming public should be aware. I will be following up with be Better Business Bureau, The Contractors State License Board and Small Claims Court. There is no excuse for such unprofessionalism. read more

We met Rigo and liked him immediately, he made us feel he's trustworthy and professional and we picked a door we liked. It was installed on Saturday and immediately after the installers left, we noticed each side of the door frame was dented and scratched and huge holes left where the nail gun was used. Furthermore, the door dead bolt jammed within 2 hours leaving us to enter and exit using a side screen panel. a MAJOR security concern. Rigo arrived on Tuesday and inspected the work and admitted it wasn't up to his standards. 2 days later, he retracted his statement and said his work was completed and wished us well. After he cashed a $5000 check. Fraudulent and unresponsive are the words that come to mind. Milgard, the door manufacturer who we had to contact directly, has since sent replacement parts and did their part to ensure service recovery. On Saturday, 9/19/20, we had 18 windows and two sliders installed in one day! The crew arrived on time and ready to work! They were extremely courteous, polite, and took into consideration our needs to get the job done! They also were very conscientious about cleaning up after themselves that only required us to do a quick vacuum after they left. The crew worked efficiently and quickly completing the job in one day instead in the two days we were told originally thereby decreasing the disruption for our family by one day!
