This New Year's Eve, I was in my car, opening the garage door. Garage door went up halfway and then slammed down. It looked like the belt was broken. Without any hope of my calls being answered I New Year's Eve, Emilio, EZ overhead doors, said he could be at our location within two hours! He knew exactly what to do to replace the 2 sets of springs, broken rod and belt. All the work was completed in about 30 to 45 minutes! Easy Peezy! All I can say is, the service was prompt, professional. The work was quickly completed. In addition, Emilio said that there is a one year guarantee for all parts and labor. We had used this company before years ago so we called again when our springs broke. They helped me get my door open over the phone Sunday and came out for the repair Monday. The spring and cable had broken so they replaced them. It took 45 minutes and they charged me $745. I have no idea if that's appropriate or excessive. Also I've since wondered why they didn't suggest using two springs to share the weight of the door. In all, they did the job quickly and I appreciate that but I do wish I'd take the time to get another estimate or two. read more

My garage door opener stopped working so we called for service. We found the issue was due to an overhead beam that was old and overloaded so it had cracked. We've had two very positive experiences with EZ Overhead Doors. We first called last fall when the old garage door would no longer open. I called at 9:00 pm on a Friday night and Emileano picked up the phone and gave me all the options for repair. He was there with a helper first thing Monday morning (we chose not to pay the emergency fees for the weekend service, but that was possible), and fixed it that morning. That door was 30 years old and we needed a new one. He helped us choose the door we wanted along with various options and it is now installed. It is quiet, smooth and very nice looking. My power went out in my garage and it's detached so there was no way for me to get inside since there's no windows or doors to walk through and my car was stuck inside. I called at 7:30am on a Saturday morning and Emilio came out within 30 minutes and was able to get it open within 30 mins of him getting here. Would definitely recommend him and he actually installed the motor last year and springs. Called EZ for garage door repair & installation of a new opener. They came out that same day, which was really great. They were able to resolve my issues & install the new garage door opener before the day was over. They wore masks (CoVid19), which was appreciated. Their prices were very fair. I never felt like Emileano was trying to sell me on something that I didn't need, but he was also sure to give me his professional opinion on my garage door. He is a straight shooter. The guy had to custom make a spring to replace the door opener spring that broke. He worked quickly and efficiently. His prices were comparable to other companies. I was in a real jam when a house inspector managed to short out power to my garage which has no entrance other than the motorized door. I am also selling the house in a few weeks and need access all the time. Emergency key didn't work. Called EZ at 8 AM on a Friday, said they could make it between 1 PM and 3 PM same day. Emilio showed up and within 5 minutes got the door open by removing the screws to the manual lock. Then he correctly diagnosed that the power was off in the entire separate garage. After another five minutes of troubleshooting he figured out where the outlet was inside the garage that had to have the outlet and grounding plug pushed back in to restore power. I am going into detail so you know this is a legit review. Another service would not even come out until Monday despite claiming they are responsive. I was leaving town on Saturday for thanksgiving so this was a must on a prompt basis. Call these guys if you have a similar issue, Emilio is a pro, shows up and on time. Made my weekend and week. Reasonable pricing for a house call, and didn't waste time coming up with some expensive solution. read more

My husband and I are thrilled with the job EZ Overhead Doors did for us. We live in an old house with an unusual size garage door. At some point someone installed a small section of an industrial garage door. The door was loud, often jumped off track, and never stayed all the way closed. It jumped up and down dozens of times before stopping. We didn't want to get a new door because we will be remodeling so we needed help getting this door to work.
