2 words. Hidden Gem. If you know, then you know. It doesn't look like a restaurant from the outside. No signs, just a small gray trailer. Inside, a few tables and 2 places to order from. One is a juice bar, the other is where you get the food,,, and HOT DAMN! The food here.... 10/10! I had a fresh strawberry lemonade (I'm not going to try to write anything in Spanish because 1. Auto correct and 2. My spelling). First of all, everyone at the table was MAD jealous about it. And the taste? Well I want more right now thinking about it. For food, I had the enchiladas rojas... and I joined the clean plate club here. The food was clean tasting. Not heavy on the grease that you get at some Mexican restaurants. Again... Don't be turned off by the outside appearance. Walk in, go to the order counter and get some great Mexican food. Very well priced and good portions. I have had tortas, sopes, fajitas, taco dorado, and much more. Never been disappointed. If they have the Elote on the cob get it. Cup is not as good. On the cob is great. My second time in a long time. This place is amazing. The food is very fresh and the cook comes out to make sure you love his food. He said everything is cooked to order. The masa they use for tortillas is the best. It's not that cheap masa. We will make the 1 hour drive to come back for sure. read more

I like to think I'm a Mexican food expert (well, as much as one can be who is from Maine). The Mexican street tacos were authentic and delicious. I ordered my husband the 3 taco special (asada) with rice and beans. He personally thought they were 4 star tacos, but I tried them... they were delicious (just more of a Tex-mex style taco with cheese, sour cream and lettuce). Just a different style of taco than he's use to. The chips and salsa were fresh. The inside of the restaurant was a cute, rustic style. Clean, comfortable. Food is great (we got the individual tacos of cow's cheek, tongue, head and tripe, and tacos dorados, which is fried tacos). Fresh juice bar, and they serve those cut up fruit with seasonings... yumm. Not much to look at on the outside, not the usual restaurant look. Maybe a preexisting building converted? Good authentic mexican food! And its completely remodeled on the inside. Very clean, authentic, and great flavor!! The only thing I could complain about was the host. She was not professional (eating at the counter) and really kept looking at the Gringos like we don't understand what we are ordering. Spent 10 years in TX so we know out tex-mex!! Had the Asada Steak Tortuga and it was fantastic! The Salsa wasn't my favorite, but wasn't bad at all. Definitely going back to try the Burrito and some Tacos. Several types of meat for tacos to choose from as well (some I won't try - Cow Tongue, Cow Cheek, Cow Chittlerings). Very clean restaurant. My husband, son, and I ate for $39, not including tip. I usually get a sope, rice, and beans whenever I go to eat Mexican. The rice and beans were bland, the crust of the sopes I had were super hard. The meat on one sope was choriza, and it was very greasy and steak sope was as well. The overall taste for both was bland also. I couldn't get past the hardness or grease to even actually know what it tastes like. My husband said his enchilllada verde sauce almost tasted odd or almost rancid. We eat Mexican a lot and he said it was just awful. My son said his enchillada potosinas was actually okay. He thought his horchata tasted watery. Like I said, we eat and try different Mexican places often and this place was not one of the best. This was our first time eating there. read more
