"Low Battery" and "Key not Detected" intermittently. Then died completely. So, I changed the battery, it worked for about a week then started acting up again the same way. I changed the battery yet again with the same results until I couldn't unlock my door. I contacted my salesperson, Shawn, via text and let him know I got locked out of my car because of this fob. I spoke with their service advisor. Both were unhelpful. I spoke with my salesperson the next day and I was told to drop my car off at the dealership for the day/night so they can "diagnose" the problem. I explained again that it will work for about a week when they change the battery. Then it will do the same thing. I asked if they can simply exchange this faulty fob with a working fob. He said again that they have to "diagnose" whether the fob works when they change the battery. I tried explaining again to no avail. I reminded him that I just purchased a brand-new 2024 CX-5 Premium in December. Again I asked if they could simply order me a new one then "diagnose" all you want with my faulty fob. A simple exchange. He said, "We're not going to order you a $380 key fob without going through the diagnosis period." I explained yet again about the situation and he replied with the same response. They'd rather make me drop my car off multiple times so they can keep trying to "fix" it with a new battery each time. A prime example of profit over customer service. I had to purchase my own key fob today so I don't get in another situation where I cannot unlock my door I highly recommend the Mazda CX-5, BUT you should definitely purchase one from a reputable Mazda dealership. Not this one.

Review of "Jordan Automotive Group" and "Mike Gaffney" 7/28/2018…read more While this review is of the "Jordan Automotive Group", I should start with the experience I had that led me to "Jordan". At 24, I am a first time car buyer. I do not have a deep credit history, and was nervous about qualifying for my first "sizable loan". I was working with another big dealership (who I will leave nameless for the review), and they shared that the only option available to someone in my situation was a program with a 25% interest rate. The cars in the program were all extremely rough, and it was depressing all together. I shared that I did not want to buy a car with a 25% interest rate, and the financer attempted to bully me into it. He also said that I would not find a better rate anywhere else. He suggested I go "shop other dealerships" and I will eventually be crawling back to him. I took his advice, and gave Jordan Automotive a call. Mike Gaffney answered that call, and from the second he answered, I knew I was in good hands. When Mike said he would work for me, to find the best deal available, he meant it. Within 24 hours, I received a call from Jordan letting me know that a financial institution would be contacting me shortly (they called within the hour). I was approved for financing to buy a "good" car, at a rate of 6.14%. Something, that just a day or so earlier, I was told was impossible. If that's true, I guess you can say Jordan made the impossible happen. At the end of the day, if you're in the market to buy a vehicle, or even browsing, give Mike a call, and see what Jordan can do for you.

My insurance company could not find me a rental car so I was left ARGH In the wrong state, when the general manager arranged for me to borrow one of their used cars for a week! While all my craziness was going on, I saw the staff being both kind and patient with a frightened, elderly person who said their extended family was out of town. I didn't hear the end of that, but the basic decency of the folks there won me over. I had a dust-up with a deer this summer--first ever in decades of Midwest living--and I guarantee you Jordan Toyota will get my business. I found an online posting for the vehicle I wanted, and decided to go take a look. I must admit, I was reluctant to visit at first because it was not one of the well-known dealership companies (Ford, BMW, GM, Acura, etc.) and it was a bit of a drive. I cannot tell you how great of a decision it was to take a visit. Grigor was a knowledgeable and honest business man who knew when to help and or just let you browse - something I've never experienced at a car dealer. The customer service was more than I had ever expected, which had a huge impact on my buying decision. Seeing the original sticker price of the vehicle was not much over the Blue Book Value, and that Cars2You.com was still willing to do some slight negotiating spoke volumes to me. I am very happy with my Pontiac Vibe. I purchased the vehicle in good condition in and out. I can honestly say, without reservation I will return years from now when it time for me to purchase another vehicle. Additionally, I highly recommend Cars2You to others. My purchase experience was hassle-free, quick, and easy; thus, I certain that yours would be the same! Grigor is by far the most honest car dealer in the area, and I hope you will go check out Cars2You.com.

Not just let it sit there all day. I dropped my car off at 9 AM on Friday. No "hello," no "good morning" -- just cold energy from the start. When they asked what was wrong with my car, I even brought a paper from another mechanic to help. But guess what? I waited all day with zero updates, only for them to call and basically repeat what the other mechanic already told me. They never even touched my car that day. I had to make another appointment because they didn't do anything the first time -- even though they told me to bring it in. This is the only place I could take my car to, so I paid the $200 for a diagnostic, only to be told it would cost $20,000 to fix! Seriously? My car was $20K brand new, and I only have $1K left to pay it off. Why would I buy a new car when I'm almost done paying this one off? They quoted me $13K just for parts -- but I found the exact same parts elsewhere for under $1,500. And a mechanic who will install them for way less than they were charging. Miss Chelle even told me, "Yeah, I knew you were going to have a heart attack after seeing this -- it's time for a new car." No, it's time for people to stop getting scammed. This place is unprofessional, overpriced, and completely lacking in customer care. Thankfully, I found someone else to do the job right -- for a fraction of the price. Don't fall for the hype. You deserve better service and honest pricing.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!…read more I've been a loyal Gates customer for over 15 years. I've purchased multiple vehicles from here. I have referred multiple people who have purchased vehicles from here. I consistently have gone here for vehicle maintenance and oil changes. The salesmen I have always dealt with, Bill Alter- does a phenomenal job at finding you the vehicle that you want. But after that, you're SOL. Gates does not care about their loyal customers. Once you're on the hook for a vehicle, they do not take care of you. After an oil change, I used their car wash. The streamers on the side got stuck in my mirror, pulling the back plastic piece off. Gates refused to do anything. Would not fix the issue and I was stuck making an insurance claim. Just last week, I went for an oil change. Spent $98. I paid the invoice and was told I had a 'small oil leak' .. nothing further. Got in my truck & noticed the technicians did not even reset the oil life on the dash. Not the end of the world, just lazy. An hour later, I am leaving an errand and notice my dash is lit up, with the parking brake turned on. I did not utilize my parking brake & have rarely ever used it. Found this strange. I pushed the parking brake button and it did not turn off. Tried multiple other ways to try and release it. Nothing. I contacted Gates and explained I was just there for an oil change and tire rotation and all of a sudden the parking brake is activated. I was told by an employee they would make it right and they would contact the manager in the body shop. The manager, Jason (long weird last name) contacted me back. Told me there is nothing he can do about it; but if I want to PAY for a tow back there, they can take a look at it. Furious. I had no issues with my vehicle, a 2020 Silverado with low miles and NO PRIOR ISSUES. Jason stated there was NOTHING the technicians could have done that would've caused a faulty brake sensor to activate. Thus I paid for a tow and waited for their technicians to look at it again. Employee Jared Peek, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Professional and helpful. Got under my truck and looked at it. Somehow, the actuator on my rear tire got cracked and needed replaced. How in the world does that just so happen to occur? Well..... I have reason to believe, but obviously can't confirm without video footage from the body shop, while rotating my tires, a tech let my tire fall against the actuator, causing it to crack. So I was forced to spend another $80 on a new parking brake actuator right then and there- or possibly be stuck without my truck all weekend, while they fixed their mistake. Roughly $100 oil change. $80 park. $150 tow. For Jason to tell me it's not their fault or problem. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR SERVICES. They don't care about your loyalty.
