It has a welcoming vibe to it that is great for locals and visitors alike. We stopped by on a Saturday night and had one low abv cocktail Surreus tea, which was light and refreshing and Two Earls One Cup, which came in the cutest tea cup and saucer with a cookie on the side. I completely understand that they need to keep an eye on merchandise, but there are much friendlier ways to do that. A simple "Hi, welcome in! Let me know if you need help" would have broken the ice and made us feel like valued customers rather than suspicious people being monitored. It's unfortunate because the store itself has some really interesting things to look at, but service makes a big difference in whether you actually want to stay and browse. All the records had plastic to protect them and while they have mostly older records they did have some fairly newer ones (I picked up a cool A$AP Rocky album). I've bought about 6 records from here and each one has been of excellent quality (anything not in the $5 bargain bin that I've seen is VG+). Great quality records are abundant. Plus, if you like the Facebook page, you get updates on all the new product, plus can see that the owner takes really good care of the records (busting out the spin clean!). While every business needs to make money, I get the impression that this is an owner who genuinely cares about the product they put out. Also, the prices are very fair. I've gotten records that are around or below the prices on Discogs (before shipping). The space is small and intimate, but very organized. You can get a good look at all the product in 15 minutes or at your own leisure. It's a very comfortable environment, and I plan on being a repeat customer.
