The installation ultimately left us with a worse problem than the one we originally hired them to solve. What has been far more frustrating than the failed work, however, have been the hostile interactions and complete lack of follow through from Two Men and a Gutter. Over the past year, we have spent countless hours attempting to get this issue resolved. We have made repeated phone calls, left numerous messages, exchanged text messages, and communicated directly with company representatives. Multiple times, the company acknowledged the issue, agreed that the work was covered under warranty, confirmed our account and address, and promised to send someone out to make repairs. No one has ever shown up to even look at the damage, let alone repair it. Each time we followed up, we were given another explanation, another promise, or another timeline. Most recently, we were told someone would come out once the rain had passed. The rain passed. Nobody came. Follow-up messages have gone unanswered. That was in May 2026. To make matters worse, both my husband and I have experienced extremely hostile and aggressive communication from company representatives during our attempts to resolve this issue. What should have been a straightforward warranty repair led to them screaming at me on the phone about our review of their work costing them business. At this point, we have lost confidence that Two Men and a Gutter intends to honor its warranty or stand behind its work. We honestly don't feel safe having by them back at our house either. We will now have to hire and pay another company to correct their poor quality work. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone and would urge you to look elsewhere.

Although the timeline for completion was longer than originally stated, I know the team was battling high winds and a missed delivery from the supplier which was out of their control. For my 4-bed single family house and detached garage, all the siding and soffit work took 4.5 days. During the course of the work, Shane and team looked out for imperfections that needed to be corrected which I chose to do for a small price. Their invoice system is through Intuit Quickbooks and is very user-friendly. I'm really happy with the new color on my house, thanks!

After being concerned that our roof was damaged by the recent storms, we called Big Boy's…read moreConstruction for an estimate. Mike Highbee was assigned as our point of contact. He explained he was really busy with all the storms recently but would work with us as he had been on the roof and notice some damage. We explained we have State Farm Insurance and know they have strick standards. He explained he worked with them a lot and if we agreed to sign with Big Boy that he could have us sign a release that would allow him to work with the adjusters on our behalf. From the transaction Mike had with the State Farm adjuster to the final cost, we had no worries because the insurance company sets the standard and Mike was able to meet their criteria in cost. We waited a few days and felt a roof is about material and service. Mike showed us samples of materials, and it took us a couple of weeks shopping around. We both agreed that Mike definitely provided the service and felt like his product would meet our need. He also gave us the addresses of others that he had assisted and asked us to look at the roofs they had constructed. There was some concern about our pool house having the same roof as our main house. State Farm said no, I said I was concerned about real estate value. Mike worked with our agent. Not knowing if State Farm would pay or not, Mike assured us that they would not leave that without matching the new roof. We were sold. The weather was not. We got a daily update from Mike on the start date. They installed the roof on a Friday. Not certain if they could get it done in one day. But they did construct it in one day. And they did the pool house roof. A crew of men, that I thought was making a mess tore the old rood off. I know my husband does around the house and makes a mess when working but these guys, Yik's. I thought if they don't clean that up then there will be words. No worries, we went away for the day and when we returned everything was picked up and swept. (They even cleaned up things we were going to do). They took a nail magnet around the house and drive many times, and I have to say it, made me eat my thoughts. Additionally, we had a roof enhancer on our copula. We bought a new one to go up there and I wanted the old one. I didn't tell them and it went in the dumpster. Mike had one of the team dig it out. I thought it was gone for sure. The roof looks wonderful; the color we selected is just perfect. The job was done in one day, we didn't have to work with any adjusters, we are just plain pleased! We found out later that when Mike stopped in he had already been on the roof again, double checking everything. If you ask me if I would want a new roof, I will prefer not to but if I needed a new roof, you betcha, and I would defiantly use Big Boy Construction and have Mike Highbee as my team leader.

I was dealing with Adrian and he led me to believe that he was going to do the work but then they wanted my entire deposit before some supplemental information have been submitted to my insurance company, which made no sense and when I refused to pay the money, they canceled the contract and I was not happy about that so don't waste your time with these guys because they really don't know what the hell they're doing.
