I love this new little place. Nice and quiet with a great cup of coffee. There is usually music playing in the background, but not so loud as to be distracting. The free wifi is reliable and the food is pretty good too. Good place to study or catch up with friends and neighbors. Between this little place and the Nomad a couple of feet away, this once tired little strip mall is becoming a common hang out for me. Coffee, food, drink, relaxing. Maybe the Nomad and Corona Cafe can team up and share the patio during the coffee shop hours. read more

$4 for a plain ol' 12oz latte.. It was tasty, but $4? If you're slow and you need to cover expenses, charging unreasonable prices for simple drinks is a sure way to scare away your neighborhood customers. Baristas were great, atmosphere was chill, but I'm really going to have to make a fuss about that $4 latte!? C'mon! Even Thunderbirds is less than that. Really love that this place is here. The coffee is totally fine. But the food today was lackluster to say the least. Tried to order two different sandwiches on the menu (they didn't have the ingredients) before landing on the turkey. For $8 (seems way too expensive) you get a sandwich, fruit, and chips. The sandwich was squishy grocery store bread, slimy circle cut store bought processed turkey, tomatoes, and avocado (which apparently is usually $1 extra). The fruit option was an orange. And the chips were Cheetos, etc of the size that costs 50¢ out of the little vending machine at my work. All in all it was a sandwich I would've been disappointed in at someone's house, let alone at a cafe for $8. read more

Wow! What a great atmosphere and customer service! Id recommend this cafe to anyone that likes a nice, friendly chat and a well made cup of coffee. The owner was incredibly nice, introduced himself and his wife who was working the espresso machine. She definitely makes a mean latte. I recommend trying the honey nut latte, not too sweet and nice hazelnut flavor with a hint of honey. I will certainly be back! Im happy to have found my go to coffee shop! read more

I'm not from Austin, but I followed Yelp's reviews to this little shop. The staff was friendly but I was not very impressed overall. Highlights: Small place w/limited seating Over-priced for quality of food and drink Good ambience with amazing flavor ideas The coffee flavors are some of the best ideas I have seen from anywhere else, but I suppose that I had a different idea of what "breakfast" was all about. Their tacos are not made in house but are kept hot. The tacos were ok. There are also refrigerated sandwiches and muffins. It appears that all food/pastries and such are not made or baked in-house. If you want only coffee, this may be good place to stop, but not a place to hang out if you're hungry. This was my first time here, and the flavor of the coffee tasted a little burned. I chose something called the solar eclipse which was orange, dark and white chocolate mocha. An amazing idea, but the coffee was not smooth. I did enjoy that it was not ridiculously sweet, so, for me, it was a good balance of flavor and sweetness. Very satisfied with that. But I paid about $19 for two large drinks one small migas taco and one Cosco muffin. I could understand if the food had been made in-house, but I didn't really agree with the price compared to the non-fresh pre-made food items and the slightly burned coffee. I doubt I will come back. This coffee shop is comfortable with a homey yet cool atmosphere, and of course, the specialty lattes are delicious! They have unique flavors such as pink Tibetan salt that pair wonderfully with their smooth, delicious coffee. They also sell Taco Mex breakfast tacos, the best in town. Good coffee that is ready made, but the beans sold through the shop definitely need more information especially for $16 a pound.Things that should be stamped on the bag are the roast date. Would be nice to have the farm name. Otherwise who knows how long the beans are sitting on the shelf. Also consider using vacuum vented bags. Beans need to breathe otherwise their shelf life starts to dip. read more

This coffee place is a bit hidden off of Cameron, but I'm glad I stopped by because the coffee was delicious. They had a BUNCH of different choices from chocolately to very exotic floral flavors, and the place seemed very unpretentious and laid back. The new owner has created a host of new amazing drinks that are worth coming here for. This is not your every day coffee shop with the typical espresso beverages. There are some actually quite new and innovative tastes offered here, and the vibe is very warm and friendly. The lemon lime ginger echinacea is super refreshing, and the made from scratch orange chocolate mocha is amazing. The Kashmir Chai (also a unique made from scratch recipe) is my favorite chai in Austin. read more

This place has the absolute best chai I've ever had. If you like a spicy, not too sweet chai, this is your place! It is so good! They also make me off-menu items (like a lavender earl grey tea latte) that are also delicious. The ambiance is great, a cute little place with paintings by the owner's mother-in-law. There always seems to be a regular sitting at the bar and the owners are always very friendly and informative. This is my first Yelp review... I had the harvest moon latte and it was hands down the best latte I've ever had. Each latte takes a few minutes to make because of the care they take into making it. My fiancee has frequented this place in the past. Recently, I received a phone call from the proprietor, Naiman. Unfortunately, a tablet had been left at the establishment inadvertently. Naiman was able to deduce who to call from the various individual's names that popped up as application notifications on the tablet. As my fiancee, was out of town, I responded and went to pick up the device. The coffee and food were great, but the integrity of the people running the joint was even greater. I live right in the neighborhood of Corona Cafe and was thrilled to find out that they are a great little coffee place! They make almost everything there and have different options other coffee shops do not offer. The staff is so fun and enjoy talking to you-I love that they remember people who have come in before and subjects we talked about before. My only issue is I wish they were open more, but I know it is due to the nail salon next. Hopefully they will find a way to solve that problem so we can go there even more often. First of all, I have to say the coffee is great. If you want a good cup of coffee, this is the place. Now, the not so good stuff. The owner should stick to what he is good at, which is making and serving coffee. What he needs to quit is his frothing-at-the-mouth political discourse. He sucks at it. I couldn't stomach it any more, so I left and sat at the small smokers table outside. As customers left, I heard them commenting on the owner's tirade, and it was NOT pretty. This is a modest-sized, decent coffeehouse. I can't find anything that makes it better than some of the other top-notch houses in town. It's somewhat similar to Thunderbird, though a bit smaller - and I prefer T'bird's brew (but that's a different review peeps). Incredibly friendly and awesome. There aren't too many reasons to be in this area if you don't live nearby; I was there waiting for some work on a car. If you *are* in the area, however, you've got a Starbucks at the soulless shopping center built over Mueller field, or Corona, and there's just no contest. Rock Star bagels, home-made baked goods, great-looking panini (I didn't try any but that's because I had filled up on a bagel and some pumpkin bread), great coffee and an atmosphere that I wish I could achieve in my living room. The woman sitting at the counter making the breakfast tacos without gloves.... Touching the bacon.... Seemed a little questionable to me.
