I found this Salon on Yelp and would like to try for hair cut. I had thin Asian hair and would like to have layered bob and bang. I had hair cut, eyebrows, spa and facial with Wendy. The layered bob made my hair more volume and my face didn't look big and round. Eyebrows uplifted my face and skin felt fresh and brighter with facial. I did not see the difference after leaving Salon with stickiness from moisturiser from facial. I recently bought a Groupon with Joe Jabsi abs it was an awful experience. First, he said that the Groupon would not cover toner/color even though it was for full highlights. Second, he said he couldn't achieve results in one visit. It would take three visits for highlights! He also said that if I were 16 years old it would be different, which left me a bit confused. I would not recommend service with Joe Jabsi!! He was very rude on the phone and it seemed like he was a scam artist to get as much money as he could out of me. read more

Unexpected pleasure... it was a gift that kept on giving! Let me walk you through my experience with Wendy! Around noon I went to Bronze's Tequeria and noticed a shop next door that read manicure and pedicures... new to the neighborhood I was excited to see a nail salon so close to my home and near a good restaurant and charge station! Lets start the gift giving... 1st gift, I walk in and am greeted by Wendy's warm welcome and she lets me know she's available and the restaurant can bring my food to the salon after I order. So did just that, ordered and told them I was next door. 2nd gift, Wendy was ready for me as I came back through the door, a walk-in's dream! 3rd gift, as she's doing my pedi she advises I shouldn't put nail polish back on because my nails need a break... she genuinely cares about her customers, other people have just painted over the discoloration from leaving nail polish on too long. Now the 4th gift was unexpected! I went in for a mani and pedi and Wendy had time, thank god, to do my hair too! My thick 4C hair... she hooked it up! I went in around 12p and was done by 2:10p! She knew exactly what I wanted, knows Asian hair (duh!) inside and out, and made sure I was happy before I left. The blowout took almost 1 1/2 hours and is only $40 I hate when you book an appointment and the stylist triple books you so you're left waiting for them to finish with others. I have been going to Jen for a couple years by now. She takes care of all my beauty needs, and quite frankly, is the best beautician I've ever had. Jen does my touch ups, highlights, and most importantly, my eyelash extensions. She is a perfectionist who takes her time. The crazy part is I've been to many beauticians in my life, and I have EXTREMELY high standards, and I am beyond critical when things dont go well. The great news is... Don't go to the nail person there. I am not sure what her name is but she charged me $25 to take my dip powered nails and she didn't even do a good job. My original nails now have cracks and ridges which has never happened to me before and I always get dip powdered. read more

I came here for a facial done by Jennifer. Making an appt was a little tricky. The first time I called, I guess she was in the middle of a session and she said she'd call me back later. I didn't get a call back, so I called back the next day and made an appointment that was about a week later. She remembered me from the day before, and apologized that she lost track of what number I called from. My appt was for 11am, but we didn't get started til after 11:15am. Jennifer's bedside manner was a little off. She was on the phone dealing with something while trying to start my facial one-handed. She would also stop my facial to tend to multiple texts. We got done around 12:15, which was a little disappointing since it was supposed to be a 70 minute facial and she started late and stopped in between a lot. The experience of getting the facial wasn't the best, but I've really been enjoying the results. My skin feels so soft and smooth. I've been having some acne issues, and she relieved a lot of the ones that were active that day. I've been pausing throughout the day to feel how soft my nose has been since her extractions. Very painful, but totally worth it as she says. I would probably come back here for a facial if they were on sale. Jennifer was very nice and engaging during the treatment. Bedside manner could use some work, but results are 5-star. read more

I came in to have my hair done by Josef, and as always I was thoroughly impressed. You go to Jo when you want your hair done right, and I always come in with an open mind. I followed him to Bella Rifugio, and though I have been having my hair cut and styled by him for years, this was the first time he dyed it, and it came out incredible. He said he wanted to do silver, and I'm always looking for something new and fun to try. I also know how hard it is to reach a color light enough to achieve silver, after dying my own, naturally dark hair for years. I will go in a second time after letting my hair and scalp rest before we get to silver, but as of now my hair is platinum, almost white! I purchased a Groupon for a facial and made a same-day appointment, which was nice I guess. However, my options were very limited other than that same-day appointment. Nothing available the following days really. When I walked into the facility, I was not greeted by any staff initially. Eventually I was asked to have a seat and waited a full twenty five minutes (I was ten minutes early). Once my facialist was ready, she took me to a back room which was small and dirty. She asked me to remove my shirt, wrap a towel around myself and get under a blanket. The fleece blanket was dirty and covered in hair! *I cringe thinking just how many other people have been under that same blanket before me.* I could not have gotten out of there fast enough! Hopefully I will be able to get the money back from the Groupon. Would NOT recommend. read more

This salon & spa is truly a 1 stop shop for everything. The store was brightly lit and very clean. I came in for a facial & pedicure. The chairs are so soft & warm & have the built in massage component. The leg massage was really nice because the lady really put her weight into it & didn't delicately touch my leg/foot. The facial was really relaxing and 5 days later my skin is still glowing. I'll absolutely come back and maybe next time add a few more services & just have a beauty day to myself. read more

I had a really bad experience here with Joe. I had to wait a full month to get an appt with him because he doesn't work in Pleasanton often. He TRIPLE booked, so he was rushing around and my appointment started more than half an hour late. When he did start, he rushed my highlights so much that they look horrible! I timed it and he took 17 minutes flat to do them. As someone who has been getting highlights for almost 20 years, I know that it should never take that little time. He was not doing a good job. The highlights look awful and several people have commented already. I'm going to go get them fixed because I don't dare go back to Joe. Pics below from just 2 days after my appointment. Then, he was supposed to cut my hair too, but he didn't have time so someone else that I didn't know did the haircut instead. All in all, such an awful experience that I had to leave a review.
