The estimate, while not cheap, was still reasonable considering that all the extras mentioned above were included and did not have to be "tacked on" to the original estimate. As another reviewer mention , we asked Mike to add another accent strip of tile as a bullnose and he was very accommodating and did not charge extra. Another plus was the timelines and neatness of Mike's work. He started when he said he would and worked everyday until 4, except the weekend, until the job was done. He was careful to cover the floors and clean up after each day. I am not an expert when it comes to bathroom renovations but I do have some construction knowledge and it appears that Mike Kraemer is a skilled contractor with a broad knowledge base who does not cut corners.

Who doesn't want to work with a much more affordable version of a "Chip and Joann"? We primarily saw and worked with Joe, while Karly is more behind the scenes. The work we had done was our two upstairs bedrooms, stuck in some unknown decade of quirky and mismatched. We were able to have our master bedroom vaulted and both bedrooms were repainted with recessive lighting installations. The Master bedroom was completely transformed beyond expectations and quickly become the favorite room of the house and the second bedroom/office is warmer, brighter, and cleaner. I had a poor experience with the folks I hired to do the water mitigation work, originally planning to have them also do the remodel and then just really bad luck trying to hire another contractor-lots of no shows, or folks who showed up for the estimate but then not follow through when I tried to hire them. After all that, dealing with Joe was like a breath of fresh air. He came out to check out my space within a week of contacting him, took his time looking around and telling me his thoughts, which I appreciated. When he was a day or two later than he mentioned getting me the written estimate, he reached out to let me know. He followed up after the estimate, which I received during a super busy time personally, and I was ready to schedule the work but had to postpone, due to last minute travel for work. We agreed on a date after I returned, and again he followed up to make sure we were still on. This kind of communication has been unheard of, in my experience with hiring other professionals to work on my house, and I really appreciated it. Joe has been responsive, reliable, and friendly throughout, accommodated my work schedule and any interactions I had with his team were also fine. I'm very pleased with the work he did to restore my basement-it looks great and I can't wait to unpack all my stuff and start getting some use out of it (and also show it off)!! All in all, I would totally hire Eden again-and you should, too!

This project touched major parts of the house, including all interior walls, hardwood floor, siding, deck and roof. Every single part of this project was left incomplete or damaged when John and his son Jay abandoned the project in April 2019. We had several contracts with them, for example for a new air conditioning system, replacing the basement floor, etc. When the work was nearing completion, John came and demanded more money, and we set up a payment schedule for the remainder of our contract and paid him for some additional work, removing the hot water heating system covers in all the rooms, so they could be replaced. Following a partial payment for this action, the company damaged the heating system and abandoned the project. This was a major project in the 100,000 range, for which we had paid all but the last 3,000 or so. The company did not file permits correctly or complete most of the work. We do not recommend.

But Scott and his team came in and did an amazing job of installing our drywall for us. Our place needed a lot of attention before the drywall could even start. Scott went above and beyond what we could have expected of him. He straightened out the window framing that was not installed correctly. He added 45 studs that were missing. He cleaned the place up, patched holes in the floors, added insulation that was missing. He was able to get the place in great shape to pass inspection for the drywall to begin. Note, this is not what he normally does, they do drywall, but he saw it needed to be done, and did it. Most importantly, the drywall installation came out beautifully!!  They even installed amd framed out a wall next to the fireplace to hide a structural post, which can now be used for  firewood or shelves.  These guys know what they are doing and we couldn't be happier having chosen them for the job. Scott is a great guy, professional and polite. I highly recommend him and his team for any drywall job!!
